Well, it’s been a long time coming but it’s almost here: Sorcery!
The PlayStation Move is a Magic Wand at last!
Sorcery is the first of its kind – a full-fledged action adventure created natively for PS Move. All of us at The Workshop feel tremendously privileged that we could bring this game to life.
Many of you have been following us since our first announcement back at E3 2010 and we have worked tirelessly since then to meet the expectations that arose from our on-stage presentation. It was a massive effort, and I cannot say enough about of the men and women who gave themselves so completely to the task. Add to that Sony’s profound commitment and willingness to believe in the vision, even when the road ahead was uncertain, which was a huge help.
We all believe the result is truly something special – a timeless adventure and a genuinely new and immersive gaming experience. A real game that serious gamers can sink their teeth into, yet one that casual players can thoroughly enjoy as well, and a welcome addition to any PS Move owner’s library. If you don’t own a PS Move yet, Sorcery is a great reason to give one a try.
So, ahead of the game’s launch starting from tomorrow, across the PAL region, here’s a look at our Sorcery launch trailer.

Nice work Peter and everyone else at The Workshop. It’s been getting some pretty mixed reviews, but personally i think it looks great!
Preordered it on PSN and it’s sat waiting on my Hard Drive. Can’t wait to give it a whirl.

was all into this game, when it was first demoed at E3. then the MOVE wave died a bid (sony get more RTS on the ps3 – R.U.S.E was great this way). was going to buy it when it was around 10pounds.
but then the preorder/preloading thing happend. and at a price that rivaels stores abrod. so yeah.. i preordered the game. (and will proberly make alot more spontan buys if this service continues).
and with ok rewievs (way positiv for a move game, where the lack of replayvalue is limited), im actualy looking forward to play this.
one question.. will i be able to play at 00:01 (if no error 37 happens), or do i have to wait for the store to update?
sorry for bad grammer

Congrats on the launch.
Here’s hoping that when I boot it up, I’m going to see all the hardcore gesture tweaking, curved arcane bolts, and combo magic we’ve been seeing hints about — instead of the auto-aiming waggle-mode that IGN and Gaf folks have been implying they rather want to see.
And that if those things did survive to the launch, that The Workshop won’t patch the game apart after launch in order for it to appeal to an imaginary six-year old who can’t lift his arms without getting short of breath, etc.
And that if you escape that as well – that the next game won’t be a purple smear in candy and happy-land, that is so bland and unprovokative that everyone (except Sony’s brand managers) will be bored to tears after the first minute of gameplay.
Best of luck..
