Hey blog fans!
E3 is approaching superfast and, by now, you should be speculating on all things over the PlayStation horizon whilst bouncing off of every wall in sight. I am. I’ve had to install cushions and everything.
Putting aside my raging fanboy side for a bit, I’ve got one hell of a competition for you to get involved with! How do you fancy coming with me and the Access TV crew to Los Angeles and getting VIP access to the E3 Expo?
We’re looking for an Access TV E3 Community Reporter. Win this competition and PlayStation Access will fly you out to LA, stick you in a 4* hotel, give you VIP access to the E3 expo and make you the face of Access TV for the duration of the show.
To enter, we need you to create a 60 second video telling us why you should win this freakishly amazing prize. For more details – just watch this video!
You’ll need to create a “Video Response” to this video in order to enter. To do that, click this: http://www.youtube.com/video_response_upload?v=JdYUW-2QftQ
Be sure to read the Terms & Conditions extremely carefully before entering: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=424734780884477
The competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over. Once you upload your video response it can take 32 hours for it to be approved – so don’t worry if it doesn’t appear straight away. You’ve got until 2PM Friday 25th May to enter.
So – E3 Expo. VIP style. With me. And Access TV. You in?

A little weird seeing Minecraft on the front page, considering it was just released on the 360 and not Playstation.
(Please get it released on PSN btw!)

Hey pixels! Yeah – sorry about that. The video features a short clip of some UBER Minecraft fans gathering outside E3 at last year’s show – of all the thumbnails that YouTube chose to make available for the video, this was the best one!

Will Playstation ever run competitions like this for Australia? Getting tired of seeing all the competitions available for the US and UK like this and the vita competitions and poor AU, NZ, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, ect, ect getting left in the cold. I hope you’s can organize one of these for us since Microsoft just finished theirs and sadly I did not win.

Us Aussies love to win things too you know?!

Heya muzzar69
I work for SCE UK – the company charged with looking after PlayStation in the UK. Consequently, everything you see me posting on here is likely to be UK only.
I do know that SCE AUS have a Facebook page which is probably going to be your best bet for finding out about competitions and events for your region. You can find it here: http://www.facebook.com/PlayStationAU
All that said, I am starting to seriously consider asking for a UK version of the blog. We have a lot of stuff to post about and no way of restricting posts to UK people only, so we quite often end up upsetting the rest of you! Perhaps a UK specific blog would help limit the tears.
Leave it with me, I’ll discuss it with the Blog team

At work from now until Friday. Noooo… Will just have to get my presenter face on early Friday morning. You have no idea how much I want to go to E3. Every year I enter every competition, but to no avail. I’m sure we can come to… Some arrangement MB…

Yes I understand that I’m not blaming you, I’m blaming the company. And trust me I’m on their Facebook page begging for equal treatment every day! Maybe you can pull a few of their legs?
They sometimes do some competitions like the R3 survivor edition competition but that’s exactly the problem. While the states and UK get chances to win a vita months before its release, the Playstation vita rooms, or a full paid trip to the industries biggest event. We get limited edition games! 2 or so months after release. Which would you choose? GT5 sig edition or a fully paid holiday to the states to attend the industries biggest event?
If I had a nickel for every time I saw a competition ran by Playstation and found out it was not available to AU I’d be, well, you get the point by now. Point being for every 1 competition we get the states and UK get 100. And the 100 are much bigger and better opportunities than what we get.
Gets really frustrating seeing the golden carrot waved in your face time and time again only to be told sorry your not invited.
