It’s finally here PlayStation Assassins!
Just watch, we can talk after you’ve seen it…
Assassin’s Creed III will deliver fluid gameplay and furious combat set against the incredibly evocative backdrop of the American Revolution. Our new Assassin Connor finds himself embroiled in a bloody battle between two forces, but with allegiances that run beyond the color of a soldier’s coat…
Son of a Native American mother and British father, Connor’s motivation derives from a desire to preserve his people’s freedom at any cost. Moving practically unseen, as a truly lethal assassin should, through the roiling, bloody fields of battle, Connor will alter the course of history and become the spark that ignites a revolution.
We have been working for over two years to bring Connor’s struggle to life, overhauling the entire game engine and refining AnvilNext into an unprecedented technological workhorse, capable of breathing life into hundreds of artificially intelligent characters simultaneously.
It’s beyond anything I’ve seen from this team in the four years I’ve had the privilege of working with them.
And we are not finished yet!
As a special bonus for our beloved PlayStation Assassins, we’ll include EXCLUSIVE unlockable content available only on the PlayStation 3! Just for choosing to play Assassin’s Creed III on the PS3, you’ll be able to download four additional single-player missions at launch!
In addition, Sony will have a LIVE demo featuring AC3 Creative Director Alex Hutchinson on Thursday, so be sure to keep your eyes on the PlayStation Blog for further updates!
Ignite the revolution!
UbiGabe

Will we have to pay for the four exclusive missions? By the way, that CGI-trailer and gameplay were just pure awesomeness!

Exclusive (or timed-exclusive) DLC is one of the worst things about the industry.

Yes there will be content like a multiplayer skin and pouches for Connor. I am sure there is more.

I always get Assassin’s Creed games for the PS3 and this year is no different. Nice to here we get extra exclusive content. The game looks really good and I can not wait for it. Same goes for Assassin’s Creed Liberation for the Vita. All ready have my pre order for the Freedom Edition for AC3 I am now looking for the cheapest place for AC Liberation.

Thanks for showing PlayStation fans some love:D Other game companies seem not to give a dam about us PlayStation fans(& we were the ones who made their games big on PS1+PS2 i.e RE games, TR games, GTA games etc etc)

Have bought every AC game since AC2 on launch day, and Every one of them i do not (properly) begin playing until the next one is due out…. am totally clueless why i do this, perhaps i am treating them as a fine wine, ie save for special occasion, but whatever the reason once i do (properly) begin playing i don’t stop till i finish, (story/sp), they’ve been some of my best gaming memories i have had.. got Revelations on launch day, i think i am 6% in, in constantinople, so if i stick to past routines i should be trying to finish (well start, i guess) this around 20th oct… even though i am ‘on the fence’ regards the Brit and French portrayals this AC3 has kinda stirred up, i suppose i will be getting it… as long as it isn’t shown to be to overly anti-brit.

“with allegiances that run beyond the color of a soldier’s coat…”
Yet you’ve shown nothing to the contrary…..not once.
