Hi Jawad

Please answer

Just two questions

1. I was just wondering how far we are along with getting Wallace and Gromits grand adventures from telltale games, could you please ask telltale to hurry with this particular title as it was released way back in 2009 on Xbox and PC and I do want to play them in my lifetime.

2. Is Crash Bash on the same page with Spyro as release dates go, as Crash bash has been asked for a long time now, will we get it this year?

I hope you’re chasing for Crash Bash like you are with Spyro

Many thanks

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 2:52 pm

    1. Not heard a thing on this. You’d have to ask Telltale.

    2. Spyro is the main focus at the moment. I’m waiting to hear back on Crash Bash.

Playtoy_17 20 June, 2012 @ 1:04 pm   2

when are we getting the rest of the streets of rage and golden axe series like xbox has?

Can we also have Sonic the hedgehog 3 please?

just the wipeout 2048 dlc for me today

is it possible to request any look into getting vib ribbon on ps1 classics?

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 2:54 pm

I don’t think that one is possible due to the nature of the way the game is played.

So, here again, any news on Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP/Vita getting on the store from the US?

Also, Castlevania Symphony of the Night PS1 classic?
I know a version of it is included in Dracula X Chronicles but if we aren’t going to get that soon it would be nice to have this in time for PS1 functionality on the Vita, just stick it in the imports section and call it a day? lol.

Cheers.

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 2:55 pm

Will find out…I said this last week but never heard back so hopefully I can comment soon.

aaronrogers2009 20 June, 2012 @ 1:04 pm   5

razordude 20 June, 2012 @ 1:06 pm   6

Arkham City – PC edition – is on sale at Gamefly for £4.99.

Have to say that since I started looking on Steam, gamersgate, gog.com and Gamefly at prices for PC downloads, I’ve stopped buying cross platform games on PSN – it’s just too expensive.

Agamer2006 20 June, 2012 @ 1:06 pm   7

Will the store be updated early today, since the PSN is down at 4pm

INS1GHTFUL 20 June, 2012 @ 1:08 pm   8

hi
What is in the massive minis pack?

Also I read that remote play will be implemented so that god of war 1&2 will be playable on vita.
1. Do you know when this will happen?
2. Do you know of other ps3 games will have remote play implemented?

Scuffy_P 20 June, 2012 @ 1:09 pm   9

The Walking Dead? We ever going to see episode 2? Episode 3 is due shortly.

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:00 pm

Better to ask Telltale games (I’m sure they have a Facebook page) as this is something on their end, actually.

xxSamuraiGirlxx 20 June, 2012 @ 1:09 pm   10

yay journey demo

Basket21 20 June, 2012 @ 1:10 pm   11

hey

maybe a stupid question .. but why is almost no trailer available for germany ???

Every week i look at the trailer list and everywhere (like 99%) mentions (not available in DE).

Kinda wondering why that is.

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:01 pm

It’s due to the content. Most are rated PEGI 16+ and Germany does not allow them to be released freely.

OrderSora 20 June, 2012 @ 1:10 pm   12

Thanks for the updates as always Jawad, but I have a question:

Do you know if Fate/Extra is coming soon to the PSN?
I saw on the Ghostlight blog that they had already submited the game for a PSN release, but until now no more news were given as when exactly it would be released. Thanks in advence.

Putting that aside, this week nothing really catches my eye so I’ll patiently wait for those Gravity Rush DLC. ;D

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:02 pm

You’ll have to wait for further announcement from Ghostlight on this.

Connor_mufc_1985 20 June, 2012 @ 1:10 pm   13

Walking Dead episode 2 next week or we Riot

p.s kudos on the £19.99 price tag of Arkham City

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:02 pm

Riots are no good…but if you must *points at Telltale games*..it’s not us!

Shikome 20 June, 2012 @ 1:11 pm   14

The article below this states a lower price for Air Conflicts…

dividsmythe 20 June, 2012 @ 1:11 pm   15

@7 store isn’t down today it was a mistake by somebodies part on this blog

are there any ps3 games going on sale today or any new price drops thanks

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:06 pm

Hmm, I’ve had a quick look and apparently Saints Row the Third will be £16.99 from today…should’ve mentioned this above. Will update the post when I can and add anything extra I find out.

Where is the BBC Sport app? It was meant to be out before Wimbledon starts next week.

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:10 pm

It was on the schedule and then vanished…so now I actually don’t know!

INS1GHTFUL 20 June, 2012 @ 1:12 pm   18

by the way decent price for batman, especially considering the catwoman DLC alone is £7. im getting greedy now but any chance of a Plus discount :-)

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:11 pm

Maybe later. Maybe it’ll show up when you least except, creeping in the shadows…like Batman.

and people asking bout walking dead its 27th next week just google it instead of annoying people

Danlisa 20 June, 2012 @ 1:12 pm   20

@ Razordude

Same here, took the chance and got Aslyum and City for about £7 total. Bargain, and with a little trickery can be played using a DS3.

Why anyone pay £20 for the base game when the GOTY edition is out in Sept is beyond me.

PSN is just not cutting it in the cross-platform prices. So many offers and cheaper versions available more regularly elsewhere.

I’ll wake up to the PSN Store when Rainbow Moon lands next month, until then I can’t think of anything I need on PS3/PSN.

redalertrules 20 June, 2012 @ 1:13 pm   21

Hey can can you guys tell me how long the special edition of gravity rush will be available on the nz psn store? just wanting to take advantage of the vita sale this week instead

TheBigBoss0001 20 June, 2012 @ 1:13 pm   22

I would also like to know when we will get Crash Bash?

Hi Jawad
Any news on a release date for Closure, been out in the US for a couple of months now?

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:13 pm

You’re going to have to knock on the publisher’s door…they aren’t answering.

DAVIE222 20 June, 2012 @ 1:15 pm   24

WWE Smackdown vs raw 2009 is about £30 on ps tore and its a verry old game, FIX IT PLEASE

hi Jawad,

dave

millgate1 20 June, 2012 @ 1:15 pm   26

Hi Jawad,

I just want to thank you for replying to our coments! Compared to the US PS Store blog post, you really put in some work to answering our questions, thanks a mill!

Osahi_be 20 June, 2012 @ 1:16 pm   27

Oh, I had hoped for a Lego Batman 2 demo, as the Xbox got one… :-(

Ah well, I’ll just pick my copy up somewhere next week I guess. :)

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 3:19 pm

    MS require demos.

We may get one down the line but yeah, not right now, sorry.

BRING SPYRO PS1 GAME TO EU PS STORE! ITS ABOUT TIME! :(

kratos_tayfun 20 June, 2012 @ 1:17 pm   30

Hey Jawad I’ll ask only one question,I hope you’ll answer because everyone is curios about what I’ll ask. However EU Plus members have got 10 games ( 2 games missing) so Will we ever get new games this or next week ? or next month or this month ? Will we ever get free Just Cause 2, Saint’s Row 2 and Rachet and Clank: For all one ? Please answer man, all of us are wondering this :)

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 4:06 pm

You might see one or some of them in different periods compared to the US. Next month you might see something they may not have…

infernalmonkey1 20 June, 2012 @ 1:17 pm   31

So I take it The Pinball Arcade is never actually going to get a PAL PSN release.

Carnivius_Prime 20 June, 2012 @ 1:18 pm   32

I don’t even like cute stuff but the Lego Batman 2 appeals to me a hell of a lot more than Arkham City (which came with my new PS3 Slim and I found to be tedious beyond belief and sold soon after, but then I didn’t enjoy Arkham Asylum much either.). But you only got the Vita one up here today? Ah well, I still got loads to play from the Plus update a few weeks ago.

xxSamuraiGirlxx 20 June, 2012 @ 1:18 pm   33

i was so tempted to get the walking dead, glad i didn’t in the end.

bad enough waiting month on month for a new episode imo…even worse when the games are delayed indefinitely with no reason given.

it’s kinda messed up tbh.
i’ll just wait till you guy decide to release all the episodes before i buy. at least i get what i paid for then.

mafayeu 20 June, 2012 @ 1:19 pm   34

hi,

when Dr who vita version will be avalable?

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 4:11 pm

They can come at any time, really. Other than I have nothing else to add on the avatar front.

Amy_Belgium 20 June, 2012 @ 1:21 pm   36

another wednesday another disappointment….
disappointing update

i mean seriously jawad where the capcom avatars that were said they’re coming out ?
do we really have to wait ages for a avatar ?
we get useless studio avatars we want game avatars not studio avatars

ZombieViolence 20 June, 2012 @ 1:22 pm   37

Hey Jawad

first I would like to say thank you for the weekly update wich is very detailed!

Do you know when we can expect the pinball arcade, zen pinball 2 or snapshot?
Is it true that jet set will lauch with the ps store update of next week?

Thank you

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 4:13 pm

Zen should be soon. You’ll have to request or wait for the publisher to announce the date themselves.

bidbaldwolf86 20 June, 2012 @ 1:23 pm   38

I was looking at getting Batman on the Vita until I found out it doesn’t have the open world the console version has. I think I’ll have to get the Wipeout DLC and that’ll do this week.

Upgrading my memory card soon as well in anticipation of the PS1 classics. Wohoo!

€9.99 for 1 pinball table???

Seems a bit overpriced.

snap02-12 20 June, 2012 @ 1:24 pm   40

What’s the state of 12+ rated content for Germany? Support told me Sony was working on a solution about six years ago. Sony’s the only company that restricts the store in this way. Even Nintendo offers 16+ rated demos on their store. Couldn’t you at least put ALL the content in the PS+ area so we can get access to it that way? Is there even anyone working on this?

And no, it’s not because of the laws. There are ways around it; various ways. Countless companies are using them.

I hope I’ll get an answer for once.

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 4:13 pm

I don’t deal with laws and legal proceedings so I wouldn’t know sadly.

Bovrillor 20 June, 2012 @ 1:24 pm   41

“Have to say that since I started looking on Steam, gamersgate, gog.com and Gamefly at prices for PC downloads, I’ve stopped buying cross platform games on PSN – it’s just too expensive”

– I agree completely. Fallout New Vegas (with all DLC) cost me 5 times as much as the Steam equivalent even during PSN sale. Not to mention it was over a year late to see a discount.

I’d buy the Batman DLC Bundle if it was a bit cheaper. Any chance of a discount there?

At least SOME digital publishers are starting to get the idea.

AaronSOLDIER 20 June, 2012 @ 1:25 pm   42

Lego Batman 2 for Vita but not PS3?

Also please add Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition!

    Jawad Ashraf 20 June, 2012 @ 4:15 pm

It’s pretty much all there now. We’ll see what the publisher decides.

Traffordman2008 20 June, 2012 @ 1:25 pm   43

Anyone know if/when the Max Payne 3 soundtrack is coming to the store to buy?

mxk1000 20 June, 2012 @ 1:25 pm   44

Wipeout 2048 DLC for me.

Quick Question is Batman available in the UK store today or is it Friday like the retail version?

Cheers \m/

HarryHoodnoot 20 June, 2012 @ 1:26 pm   45

Tramain1987 20 June, 2012 @ 1:26 pm   47

unbelievable that The Walking Dead episode 2 is still not available

Panos_GRE 20 June, 2012 @ 1:26 pm   48

Ok, I hope someone from SCEE sees this.

I am really disappointed in the quality of the European PS Store.
I am really disappointed with the way SONY treats their European customers.

The U.S store has constantly much more content than the European one, not to mention having everything faster. More demos that never make it to the EU store, gaming mini-shows such as qore, more games available.

The full games digital downloads are also more expensive than the retail ones. Why would I bother buying e.g Mass Effect 3 for 69.99€, when I can get it retail for as much as 50€?

This is 2012 and everything is interconnected. There is no excuse in not having the same content available at the same time in all regions through their stores.

Why isn’t MGS HD Collection for the Vita available in the EU store?
It’s been out in the U.S since the 12th of June.

Don’t you people want to sell Vitas? Or make money?

CCTHFC_1 20 June, 2012 @ 1:27 pm   49

I do not usually post but i just want to express my disappointment on how poor the EU ps store is. I read the store updates every week and they have consistently been poor and average at best. Many of the ps3 users comment here and their requests fall on deaf ears, the prices and quality of products are not worthy of being on the store at this point. I hardly use my vita due to the lack of games available and my ps3 if it wernt for fifa would be gathering dust….. I am a massive batman fan and putting arkham city on the store at that price when the dlc is 8 pounds, and the game has been out since October 2011 is bemusing! sort it out for the sake of your gamers please
