Hello Everybody!
Well it’s that time again when a small town in England known as Wimbledon becomes the ‘centre court’ of attention in the sporting calendar because of some tennis event they host there.
However, I know not everyone can attend so I’ve arranged this weekend sale for you.
Here is what we have to offer for tennis games on sale:
Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition (PS Vita)
Was €39.99/£34.99 – Now €19.99/£16.99
Compatible with PlayStation Vita only.
Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition combines the unique new features of the PlayStation Vita with the realistic graphics and gameplay of the Virtua Tennis series.
Providing a full console experience in the palm of your hand.
Top Spin 4 (PS3)
Was €29.99/£19.99 – Now €14.99/£11.99 – PS Plus member get 10% extra off!
Top Spin 4 redefines the way you experience tennis. With the deepest player roster to date featuring 2K’s Signature Style and an enhanced Player Creator with a new My Player career mode, do you have what it takes to become #1 in the world?
These deals will start on today and finish on Monday 9th July. So grab your rackets and smash out some aces with these discounts whilst they last.

Virtua Tennis 4 still priced more than we can buy the retail game for? Epic pricing fail.
Should be £10.

Think it’s pretty good. Most retail stores have it for £29.99 or more anyway and online it’s still £20 so I don’t know where you’re seeing it new for und £16 at the moment.

I don’t know what has changed at SCEE in the last few months but these kind of deals and all the sales in the last few weeks have been great.
Don’t stop!

Bit disappointed with the price of virtua tennis. You can get it for retail for less than £16. £11.99 or £12.99 would have been better like other recent sales. I may still get it though.

You guys are knocking it out of the park. These sales are fabulous. I’ve been buying stuff every week recently for my Vita because of these. Keep up the great work.
The only problem is that I now have Unit 13, Little Deviants, Persona 3, Trails in the Sky, all of the PSP Final Fantasy games and when PS1 support is added to Vita Final Fantasy V-IX.
Too many great games at great prices!

Sounds liek your PS Vita is going to need a holiday
Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

Awww… to bad, was hoping to find Everybody’s Tennis for the PSP in the sale. Still want to buy it one day, so I hoped it would be in the Tennis sale. It would fit perfectly. I already own Top Spin 4, which is pretty good. Only the Move controls make no sense, flicking your wrist is enough and even for and backhand don’t matter. But with the Dual Shock the game is really fun. So Andy, can you squeeze Everybody’s Tennis in the sale?

Sadly not because it is very cheap already. Sorry to dissapoint dude.

Not sure where to post this but please pass this on to the appropriate people at SCEE:

Clearly developers want Sony to get behind the Vita, and this would be ridiculously awesome!

WOWSER!!! This would be amazing!

Can highly recommend VT4. Got it as part of my Amazon bundle and didn’t think it would be great as not a tennis fan but it was really fun!

Great price, the cheapest online price new is £15.85. And if you are going to resell why complain about the downloadable price

Touché sir!
Thanks.

A key reason to complain about the download price is the fact that it takes up space on the already expensive memory cards. (I am totally pro-downloads – the convenience is amazing! But I think they should aim to always be cheaper than retail with regular price matching..)

It’s ONE retailer selling at below £20. Waiting for Sega, Sony or another supplier to check all the prices before submitting them for a sale would just mean you’d never get the sale in the first place.
Yes, it would be nice at a lower price, so would anything, but it takes a long time to sort sales out.

At least I am not alone in my thinking.
There are reasons for my madness, ‘time’ is usually one of them.

Was going to purchase off PSN as I was hoping there would be a price drop as I’ve really gotten into the tennis, so why not fuel it with a game, my main passion – but opted for the boxed version (£15.95 from shopto and will be here in the morning) as checking my memory card it seems I am nearly at 16gb!!!!!

Fair enough dude, I can’t argue with that as I would advise all consumers to get the best deals.
We can’t always beat retail in price for many different and very boring reasons but we try our best.
Hope you do enjoy the game however!

Hi Andy,
Good sale, I may get Virtua Tennis!
Two weeks ago I asked you if you knew who I should contact to ask the addition of Greek characters in the Vita keyboard and you told me you e-mailed the appropriate people. Do you have any update on this?
As for the recent sales my wallet suffered a lot! I finally got some games I couldn’t afford.

Awesome guys, thanks for the sale on the Vita version!!
The Vita sales you guys are putting up have been wicked so far (apart from the hurt it has been putting on my wallet!). Good job & keep it up!

I need to stop the impulse buying… I have VT4 already on Vita… so went with Top Spin 4… I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN BED 3 HOURS AGO TO GET UP TOMORROW TO PLAY REAL TENNIS!!
Oh well, at least I’m good at the games when I’m tired!

Also, good idea for a sale.
You should see about doing International Track and Field for PS One free during the Olympics.

I just picked up Virtua Tennis 4 for the Vita, which is GREAT because I’m going on vacation away from the house for a week starting today, and I’ve heard it’s going to rain all week, so I probably won’t be outside too much, but now I have something to do
AMAZING timing Andy, thank you
