Is there any news on the wake up club app for the ps vita?

what are the discounts of the week?

vicheous 18 July, 2012 @ 2:16 pm   3

Yay! Dr. Who for Norway ;-)

EternalChaos72 18 July, 2012 @ 2:17 pm   4

finally got a reply from Capcom EU regarding these avatars.

Something’s take a long time for very little return. So they are not prioritised.

Avatars is one of these, without sharing confidential information of our first party partners there is an extremely long process that involves localising large reams of data in 12 languages in the submissions process. There are no shortcuts and the whole process can last several months from start to finish.

It’s very time heavy and simply put we don’t have the staff to make this 100% priority ahead of getting a game out of the door and on the shelves.

The good news is that there is a large batch of avatars going through the process as we speak, whether they’re the ones you want however…

BTW crap update for avatars jawad sort it!and why was the store an hour late?!

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 2:32 pm

    I saw the response.

Scheduling issues do arrise so you may have some posts change times now and then. It’s pretty normal.

irish-sid 18 July, 2012 @ 2:17 pm   5

Nightmare966 18 July, 2012 @ 2:17 pm   6

Another week, another update. Looks like I’ll be getting part the last batch of SCV DLC (and the free games 8D).

One thing though, Jawad, last week Darksiders II “Last Sermon” trailer was added to the Store, but it was the teaser, not the full thing. Can you ask THQ if they’re submitting the full thing? Thanks :)

will there be a physical version of MLB the show on this side of the pond and any news on wake up club, i want trophies when i wake up >:D

any chance of the marvel avatars? And please please can we get some Batman Arkham city avatars!!!! I never get a reply :(

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 2:33 pm

I asked about Arkham City but there’s been no new info on them. Same for Marvel.

ian111199 18 July, 2012 @ 2:19 pm   9

No one asked about spyro yet xD

planeet32 18 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   10

Good update, nothing for me though. And very little Vita love…

AlexPSN89 18 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   11

@ Jawad:

Hi there, Jawad! First things first, I wanted to thank you for your advice: I’ve taken advantage for the Dissidia sale and now I’m happy to tell you that, despite a slight misadventure when trading the games for Playstation Store Cards (Gamestop’s offer has been kind of unfair, to say the least), now both Dissidia and Dissidia 012 are on my Memory Stick.

Then, there’s my questions, as usual…
- About the Spyro games (again, I know… bear with me! :(), can the “soon-ish” you talked about last week be measured in weeks or months?
- There’s one game I’d be interested to buy for my PSP, that is, Metal Slug Anthology. I know that one is available on the US Playstation Store, while the same can’t be said about our own Store. Will it become available one day or the presence of individual Metal Slug games prevents the compilation from making it here? In other words, do you suggest me to wait or to look for the game’s UMD version at some online retailer?

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 2:51 pm

I’d like to say weeks but I don’t want to in case it gives too much hope…so “soon”…I lose either way here :(

Corruptions 18 July, 2012 @ 2:21 pm   12

What’s with the lack of PSone Classics as of late ?

modzerowo40i 18 July, 2012 @ 2:21 pm   13

where discounts?

any news on marvel avatars? Also i request some Batman Arkham city avatars…. Would be immense!!!!

Carnivius_Prime 18 July, 2012 @ 2:21 pm   15

Nothing for me this week. Think I’m much more interested in the upcoming Uncharted 3 patch that adds some new stuff and FINALLY adds multiplayer trophies (50 in all) to get. I always play U3 multiplayer anyways so it’ll be nice to rack up some more trophies playing the game I already play anyways.

By the way, I’d love a Dark Knight Rises batsymbol avatar. The free themes last week were nice.

Atinetro 18 July, 2012 @ 2:22 pm   16

A nice, small update this week! I’ll be picking up Lara Croft with my PS+ subscription, looking forward to playing that.

You guys don’t get thanked enough for what you do, and what you put up with. You’re constantly criticized for stuff that is out of your control, and you have to remain civil while people are overly harsh.

From the people that realise how much hard work you go through and put up with, we thank you!

TamKing 18 July, 2012 @ 2:22 pm   17

nice, some free mass effect dlc :)

any chance you could ask the folks who make the avatars for some national flags?
i would love a scotland flag :p

windowsmsnlipi 18 July, 2012 @ 2:22 pm   18

Random question: will we ever get Blazblue avatars on here ? or is it impossible ? thank you

bazer24773 18 July, 2012 @ 2:23 pm   19

is the retail version MLB the show on ps vita going to be in the shops this week as well not got enough space on my memory card :(

CorrisD 18 July, 2012 @ 2:23 pm   20

So, here again.

Any updates on any Castelvania games finally making it over from the US store? I figured the imports section was so you guys could easily bring over titles with less work, but there hasn’t been an update in a while.
Still holding out hope that we might get some Castlevania games here at some point.

Also, how come FFVII Crisis Core isn’t on the store, it is one of the PSP titles I missed that I wanted to catch up on with a Vita and there isn’t a digital version. Is there something keeping Square Enix or you guys from putting it up on the store?

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 3:04 pm

I’ve asked a few guys internally who deal with Konami on this but haven’t heard back.

It’s totally up to Square Enix for that game. We’d be happy for it to get a digital release.

CoolRichy008UK 18 July, 2012 @ 2:23 pm   21

vicheous not gonna happen Dr who is EU only

WHEN MUNCH ODDSEE HD FOR PS STOREE

    Stewart Gilray 18 July, 2012 @ 3:02 pm

I hope Jawad doesn’t mind me jumping in here…

We’re still a few weeks away from releasing Munch’s Oddysee HD on PS3/VITA.

Best rest assured when we approach release you’ll see plenty from us about it here or over at the main Oddworld Inhabitants, website.

    Cheers.

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 3:05 pm

    Cheers Stewart :)

bidbaldwolf86 18 July, 2012 @ 2:25 pm   23

Am I missing something or is there absolutely nothing for the VIta this week? This is getting ridiculous now. It’s been getting less and less, you have a great sale and then in the weekly update there isn’t a single item for the Vita.

chrisandsheva 18 July, 2012 @ 2:27 pm   24

ok.. now i see why mlb the show got pulled last week, So you’d be able to put it out today, because, correct me if i’m wrong, there seems to be absolutely Nothing else (new) to buy, Surely this can’t be, have i misread (again) the content list… There must be more stuff available to sell than this… gotta say, absolute worst store update i have ever seen.

Roxas598 18 July, 2012 @ 2:28 pm   25

Hey jawad any idea on a release for Dyad?

JOKER14558 18 July, 2012 @ 2:28 pm   26

Crash bash?

AlexPSN89 18 July, 2012 @ 2:28 pm   27

@ irish-sid & ian111199:

Hey, there’s no need to snark about their demand. Maybe we can snark about their absence, but not about their demand.

taurus82 18 July, 2012 @ 2:29 pm   28

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Jasper Goodall Avatar Bundle for me this week.

When are getting Auditorium HD?

AndyBeans 18 July, 2012 @ 2:29 pm   29

The only thing I was looking forward to was THPS HD, but yet again Sony have their priorities mixed up again and have let M$ screw us over with another stupid timed exclusivity deal. I’m beginning to wonder if Sony actually want people to buy their next gen machine, Microsoft may charge people to watch advertising but at least they understand their customers. If Sony don’t want my money then M$ sure will.

swcoruscant 18 July, 2012 @ 2:31 pm   30

Any word on when the PS Vita compatible version of Field Commander PSP will be available?

Are there any plans for future Complete Editions ofor more early PS3 first party games like Everybody’s Golf for PSN? Would really like to buy a Folklore: Complete Edition with all the DLC included.

Also now that games like MLB and Nascar are available on EU PSN, what about Aquanaut’s Holiday (English language version published in Asia by SCE) or Afrika (published by SCE in Japan but by Natsume in North America).

Last but not least, are there plans to make the entire Ratchet and Clank series available to buy on PSN, namely Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time. A complete series bundle on sale would be a brilliant way for newcomers to catch up ahead of QForce.

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 3:28 pm

Interesting… there aren’t plans right this moment but that could change.

chrisredfield_97 18 July, 2012 @ 2:34 pm   32

hey jaward i’m sorry but i will ask you again very kindly and i like you to answer me plz can you tell me if you know anything about the ac3 avatars and some capcom avatars and oh something else plz any devil may cry avatars like us got plz jaward answer to these questions and have a nice day and week bye for now!!!

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 3:29 pm

All I get told are some ACIII avatars released. That’s all. Whether we get the same or not is up to Ubisoft.

Capcom have yet to submit their avatars but are in the process. There a post further up (#4) this page that details a response from Capcom.

Chocobo115 18 July, 2012 @ 2:34 pm   33

NISA recently announced that Hyperdimension Neptunia mk 2 will be launched on PSN in august.
Can you see if we in the nordic countries will be denied this title as NISA has failed to deliver DLC in general to the countries since shortly after Disgaea 4 got out in Europe.
If it will not be avaible (as the DLC) for us, can’t you at Sony help them out somehow?
Cause it is starting to look bad on both SCEE and NISA’s accounts that you can not provide the same service to all your customers.

spacedelete1 18 July, 2012 @ 2:34 pm   34

When are we going to get any decent PS2 classics ? the PS2 had one of the best games ever created but Sony is acting like it never existed.

Seriously you could be making a fortune from PS2 classics yet you drip feed us PS2 shovelware that would even embarrass the Wii.

Would you prefer i just go and buy a used PS2 ? if i do you do not get any money from that.

any idea when we will be getting the Dawnguard dlc for Skyrim

also shouldn’t there be a pt.9 From A Different Sky for Dragon’s Dogma?

oh and Tokyo Jungle pleassssssssssssssse

Any chance of a sale or price drop for the Star Wars: Force Unleashed DLC? The game is quite old now and 3 levels at £7.99 each seems very expensive. Surely a drop to around a couple of quid each would make sense.

manutreble 18 July, 2012 @ 2:35 pm   37

coolrichy Norway is I Europe you know omg

sakulukk 18 July, 2012 @ 2:37 pm   38

Fate/Extra?

Also more content not available to more countries, with this new policy I don’t think I’ll sticking for PS4…. tbh Having PS Store in Polish Language sucks :/

PintSized1994 18 July, 2012 @ 2:38 pm   39

Hi Jawad, will be Phantasy Star Portable 2 re up to PSN? The game was compatible with PSvita earlier, but was removed
Thanks.

Where’s Dyad?

Also:
Alphabetical Sorting of PSN games please.

No Tony Hawk pro skater HD? And it’s my birthday today :D

Azquelt 18 July, 2012 @ 2:40 pm   42

No Dyad? When’s it coming?

RoboAddy 18 July, 2012 @ 2:41 pm   43

Hey Jawad, nice update this week I’m gonna have fun with a few more matches on Mass Effect 3!

Also I’m gonna add my regular comment of: Please get Konami to add Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to PSOne Classics.

Aslo any news on PS Vita 1.80?

    Jawad Ashraf 18 July, 2012 @ 3:31 pm

No update on any of those this week. I’m waiting on SotN still…

BiOsTaRoN 18 July, 2012 @ 2:42 pm   44

Game of Thrones and Record of Agarest War 2
When will we get these games, why can’t we get them at the same time like US.

lardteamaker 18 July, 2012 @ 2:44 pm   45

@23 MLB the show is for Vita, little love there. Willbe getting this (if your actually putting it out this week, been let down before) and the NASCAR game.

prycestation3 18 July, 2012 @ 2:44 pm   46

Where is the Call of Duty MW3 collection 2 theme? iv noticed the U.S have it already but unable to download it there.

cheers for the reply jed, soz for double post! i really hope there will be some Batman avatars, would be awesome!!!! This weeks update (ps+) is awesome, keep up the good work :D

supersmith2500 18 July, 2012 @ 2:47 pm   48

File Size for Lara Croft please?

Also this site could do with more avatars, is Studio the only avatars were getting? I don’t think major companies like Capcom and Konami don’t care about Europe any more.

Also another question, when is the Spyro trilogy, Wipeout 2097 and Crash Bash coming and especially decent 1st party titles Sony made for PS2 classics? It’s been 5 years since we haven’t got Spyro. Spyro 2 and Wipeout 2097 were going to be included as classics though when it was advertised in my GT5 Prologue which I used to own. Not to mention, please bring back Destruction Derby. Thanks.

JameZ-83 18 July, 2012 @ 2:47 pm   49

Jawad, any idea when the Hero & villain pack will be available for Lego Batman 2 please.

Nightmare966 18 July, 2012 @ 2:48 pm   50

@supersmith2500: Since it’s a PSN game, you can download the Trial right now, and the unlock key later when the store updates. It’s more or less 2.5 GB.

Load all
