Hi everyone,
Word is that there’s a big flower show this weekend. As fun as flowers are, a group of zombies couldn’t hurt, right? So no ‘beating around the bush’, over the weekend we thought it might be nice for the horticulturalists out there to have a weekend sale on Plants vs. Zombies for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, the hit PopCap game that’s won over 30 Game of the Year awards!
Plants vs. Zombies (PS3)
Was €14.99/£11.99 – Now €9.99/£7.99
Get ready to soil your plants with multiplayer action! A mob of fun-loving zombies is about to invade your home. Defend it with an arsenal of home-guardin’ plants to mulchify zombies before they reach your front door. Get twice the zombie-zapping action with two-player versus and co-op modes. We’re loaded with seven game modes, new rabble-rousing features, and unlimited replayable action… so the fun never dies!
Plants vs. Zombies (PS Vita)
Was €11.25/£8.99 – Now €7.99/£6.49
The zombies are coming to Playstation Vita! With both touchscreen and Six Axis Motion Sensor support, Plants vs. Zombies on the PS Vita includes 50 zombie-zapping adventure levels, five original game modes, 43 trophies to collect and lets players create their own zombies with the Zombatar.
This offer will start on Friday 20th July at 12:00 noon, and end on Sunday 22nd.

Tempted to get this on Vita.
Only if Steam hasn’t completely wiped out my wallet though!

Sorry for posting this here but I didn’t get reply from Jawad on the store update post yesterday.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light isn’t available in the Israeli store so the link in the PS Plus section leads to an empty page. Any chance of contacting Square Enix to enable this? IF this is an availability issue and the game won’t be available in the store, can we expect to get a different free game instead?

It’s in the process of updating to be available in Israel. Hopefully it won’t be too long.

why cant the game work on both vita and ps3? it seems a bit unfair to have to buy the game twice to have it on 2 systems connected to psn that share the same psn account.
i definitely want to get this for vita but the cost has been holding me back and even with the sale the cost is still holding me back from buying it

And the version on Steam is the GOTY edition.

The Steam version may be the GOTY edition, but it includes less content as far as I know. I’ve completed the game on PC and on PSN and at least the PS3 version also includes local co-op and versus modes. Even the entire adventure mode can be played in co-op. Also, there’s more community features like comparing stats with friends. Might not be worth the extra cost, but that’s up to you.
I believe I got my copy through Plus.
Anyway, loving these weekend deals as well, very nice guys!

Already got this on Steam ages ago (GOTY), its a great (really great) game. Its “worth” £8 certainly, but only if it wasn’t available much cheaper elsewhere :s
I would get it on Steam personally, it works through Wine too if you are using Linux.
Good choice of game to discount, not enough discount though.

Andy, can you answer me a question ?
Deus Ex: Human Revolution for Plus members.. is available only in French ? because when i have downloaded it from the Playstation Store here in Italy… it was installed in French, with no options to choose or change the language… there is no english or italian version to replace the French Version from the Italian Store ? i saw at Gamestop that the game is in Italian there…
So why is a French Version in the Playstation Italy Store ?

CoolRichy008UK. MikLSP’s comment is in no way regarding the xBox. Please be quiet.

Always good to see a sale. But that price is still about 4 or 5 pounds too much for me.
Good game but with prices from 99p-£3 on other formats, we should get it for a similar price.

Nice to see a weekend sale but this needs to be about half the sale price for me to pick it up on the vita. Should really be a dual ps3 ps vita download really IMO.

Got the ps3 vers from plus, so feel that this ‘sale’ is (another) kick in teeth, ok, (bit strong) call it let-down, can’t see why, when you do have a sale that plus content is not given some alternative, the vita vers isn’t something that’ll interest me.. now if your going to do a 50% off resistance then i might go back on my ‘choice’ to boycott (due to USs price etc) it and grab that, so erm, whens Haleys Comet due to visit us next ?.. Anyway i hope you can pull something out the hat for upcoming summer sale. ps, don’t forget the ‘others’ (US) are still having play promo, plus allways get ‘wicked’ discounts ‘most’ every week, So put that olympic spirit on and show scea we aren’t to be messed with… Go get em Andy.
btw. any hints when to expect summer-sale.

Anyone who pays these prices when as little as 99p on other formats has more money than sense.

A day before going away on Holiday! Your to kind!
Possibly it could have been a little cheaper.
But a £6.50 game at you can get a Platinum! I’m not complaining!

no ps+ discount? if this was under £5 for ps+ users on vita i would totally hit this harder than chris brown and rihanna

Ah, still completely over priced considering it is available FAR cheaper everywhere else. Also; Why on earth is this not a cross purchase? I can’t see why the game can’t be downloaded on both systems for a combined price.
