We’re pleased to announce that LittleBigPlanet will soon be graced by the presence of eight Very Special Ladies with our upcoming Disney Princesses Costume Packs.
Belle, Aurora, Tiana, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Snow White and even little Ariel will all be ready for the biggest LittleBigPlanet Ball soon with the release of the Disney Princess Costume Packs next month.
To celebrate their release, we have this rather lovely wallpaper of our princesses to share with you.
Next week will see the release of Disney Princesses Costume Pack 1, which will contain Aurora, Cinderella, Jasmine and Snow White. The remaining Princesses will be released in the Disney Princesses Costume Pack 2, just a couple of weeks later.

LittleBigPlanet Karting Beta Creations
Next up, we have some exciting sneak peeks at a couple of the creations that have been published in the LittleBigPlanet Karting beta! The beta is only into its third week and already we are seeing some astounding levels made by the LBP Karting beta community.
Helicopter Shooter by TI-_-I
Helicopter Shooter is a brilliant example of Karting’s potential. If you notice, there’s no Kart or Sackboy anywhere in this screenshot. Instead, you take control of a helicopter, flying around an arena shooting towers, blocks, and other buildings in a race to gather as many points as you can before time runs out.
Codi’s Beachy Race by codibear8383
Codi’s Beachy Race is precisely what it sounds like – a well-designed, highly polished beach-themed karting track. Designed by one of this week’s Mm Picked creators, you know you’re in for a treat! Right smack in the centre of this winding sandy road is a volcano, threatening to erupt at any moment. Careful when it goes boom – drive too close and you might get singed!
NEON Circuit by Crazy_S
From a plethora of multi-coloured lights and decorations, to a track layout reminiscent of coiled spaghetti, NEON Circuit is one of the most aesthetically unique levels we’ve yet encountered. Not only that, it’s an absolute blast to play – especially with friends!
LBPC Contest #8 – The Results
A massive round of applause and plenty of cheering is in order for yu-kamone, who is the grand prize winner of the LBPC Contest Crew’s 8th Contest, Aquatic Acceleration.
The competition was tight though and we have a couple of runners-up that also deserve some praise for their great entries, so please give a big ol’ pat on the back to coscos-9 and deadmn for their entries too.
So a big congratulations all-round to those guys!

Mm Picks
This week sees a lovely selection of community levels in the Mm Picks with a grand adventure, a competition winner and Sam’s true love story for Sackboy to play through.
And we have a couple of great mini-games including a Japanese puzzler that will time your movements and sense of direction precisely in KURU KURU KURURUIN or you can don your cowboy hat to clear a town of bandits in The Gunslinger Arts.

So once again we EU’ers are getting shafted with the Cap? The US got their’s free with an episode of Qore, so practically every US person could get one, and when we finally get it, you do it via stupid competitions

Why can’t I use my costumes with LBP Karting? Shouldn’t be too difficult really, especially for people who bought loads, seems a bit of a waste if they aren’t compatible.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed that the beta couldn’t load my DLC costumes. Is this something the full version will support or not? Nice beta otherwise.

The beta doesn’t fully represnt the full version of LittleBigPlanet Karting.
Although we don’t have anything to say about LittleBigPlanet Karting DLC just yet.

More Disney content for LBP? Do you think’s that enough content you got there from Disney MM? First we had Pirates of the Caribbean pack, then Tron to coincide the movie Tron Legacy, then The Muppets which also coincide the Muppets movie and now the Princesses.
Also hate to say this, I got a bad feeling LBP Karting could cause alot of problems since SDS is involved and hated that company. Sorry MM.

I think the game looks nice and all, but I can’t help feeling like Sony are competing with themselves. Why would I buy this if I already have Modnation Racers? I’ve not found anyone who can answer that yet.

Cap! I wants me that cap! How do I get that cap? Do I bribe you with something? I have something. If you give me the cap I will give you something. It’s nice, I promise.
Also, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease make it so LBP/LBP2 DLC cross-compatiblises with the final release of LittleBigPlanet Karting! The biggest strength of this franchise is that everything slots into everything else like that, and you’d all go down as first class legends if you made it happen, as an example of awesomeness in videogamedom as a whole!
And also, if I have to buy costumes in Karting when I already have two games’ worth of nifty outfits I won’t, so THRRRRRRRP.
…Does my whining in any way affect my elgibility for a cap, by the way?
