That’s it? Where’s all the Dynasty Warriors 7/Warriors Orochi 3 DLC?
Lucky for me, I don’t have my PS3 back. Poor update this week…

when can we see dora the explorer: dora saves the mermaids, is it also possible to request small soldiers on ps1 or will that be impossible because of the copyright in the game on the movie.

ocelot07 25 July, 2012 @ 2:10 pm   4

Oooo pro evo 13 hurry up and update the store. Decent update.

vicheous 25 July, 2012 @ 2:11 pm   5

Nice! I’ll buy something just cause it’s my Birthday LOL Maybe Move Fitness since i’m a 36 year old smoker :D

spacedelete1 25 July, 2012 @ 2:11 pm   6

why is Toy Story 3 put up as a PS2 classic when theres PS3 version that exists and is superior ? completely random.

EternalChaos72 25 July, 2012 @ 2:12 pm   7

crap update for avatars :( but at least i know the status on the capcom avatars!

liortttttttttttt 25 July, 2012 @ 2:12 pm   8

When is all stars beta out on ps plus?

also will there be a cheaper bundle edition for all the dlc in gravity rush?

Shadow_Warlock 25 July, 2012 @ 2:12 pm   10

*sigh* I wish I lived in America, they have such a better PSN compared to ours, we don’t even have half the PS1 games they have and our terrible PSN takes about 6months to a year or more to actually get the ones they already have.

Lizzie323 25 July, 2012 @ 2:12 pm   11

Just wondering what the news is on Tomba? Thanks :)

Moogrose 25 July, 2012 @ 2:13 pm   12

Any idea when puddle for vita will hit EU?

TheBigBoss0001 25 July, 2012 @ 2:13 pm   13

No PS1-game since June 13th, no PS1-CLASSIC since February 29th (Resident Evil 2 & 3). Apparently someone at SCEE doesn’t understand the whole supply and demand-thing.

Wow… no offence intended to anyone here but, that is possibly the weakest update I’ve ever seen.

AaronSOLDIER 25 July, 2012 @ 2:13 pm   15

Didn’t we already have a Move Fitness demo? Also I would totally buy Lego Batman 2 but not at that price, especially when the US got it for $49.99, should be £29.99.

Good to see more PS2 Classics but still waiting for the GTA games.

Can someone explain why we don’t have dyad yet!?

Spaulding 25 July, 2012 @ 2:14 pm   17

Still no Auditorium HD? What gives?

RoboAddy 25 July, 2012 @ 2:14 pm   18

As always Jawad, any updates on Symphony of the Night on PSOne Classics?

Great update as always and keep up the good work!

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 3:58 pm

Konami are looking into this. Hopefully it won’t be too long. That’s the most recent update…which might have been the exact same thing said before I even started…but this is what I was told a few days ago.

mike20036 25 July, 2012 @ 2:14 pm   19

Not such a great update today. And theres nothing for me today.

y2kinder 25 July, 2012 @ 2:14 pm   20

Can we please get more PSP games on the Vita store?
Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow and Medal of Honour please!
And a price drop for Ghostbusters PSP, it’s still £24.99 in the EU store and only $4.99 on the US store! So unfair! :’(

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:00 pm

Unlikely for those to show up any time soon but remember, PSP games are pretty random on their arrival.

Andy knows about Ghostbusters. It’s on his radar.

Chocobo115 25 July, 2012 @ 2:14 pm   21

Sorry for appearing whiney about this. But I have a question about NISA’s unavability of providing download items for the Nordic countries.
I remember that in the past asking around on their forums, They blame it on you (SCEE) that you changed something about the requirements of documentation for each DLC. (I think that each had to be translated into the corresponding language)
Could SCEE not aid NISA in this matter somewhow, maybe direct them to translators in the affected countries, to ensure all customers can access the same contents?

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:02 pm

There are some things we can do but generally that ball falls in the publisher’s court.

Whilst it is true we require information in a certain way, the publisher also has their own reason. I can’t share that info, which I know is the disappointing part.

I will try and see what could possibly be done but my last effort stopped pretty quick!

iisc2k7 25 July, 2012 @ 2:14 pm   22

Hi Jawad, good update.
Although I hope to see some more US PS1 imports soon. Chrono Cross would be awesome!

szczudel 25 July, 2012 @ 2:15 pm   23

Since You guys are replying only to post from 1st page i would like to ask a question.

Much is showing that you have good connection with Square_Enix. Will it be possible to put on sale all additional content of FFXIII-2?? I would grab it instantly.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:08 pm

I reply on every page, though.

I’ll suggest this to Andy for sure.

Bealinator 25 July, 2012 @ 2:15 pm   24

Hi Jawad,

Nothing for me this week (thank christ, I can crack on with my unfinished games!), but I’ve three main questions:

1) Could you possibly talk to Andy about asking Capcom to have a sale on both the Maximo games? I’ve never played a Maximo before, and I’m not sure I’d want to dip £7.99 into a game I’ve never, ever played before.

2) Tomba was recently released in the US, and plans to bring it over here depend on how it sells. It is currently at no.3 in the PS1 chart over there according to Monkeypaw, do you think this is an encouraging step for this classic making the journey to our PlayStation Store? And speaking of Monkeypaw, would you recommend Arc the Lad?

3) Spyro. I know the team are trying to bring these to us ASAP, but will there be some sort of incentive for PSN users to grab all three at once? How about a ‘Spyro Collection’ at £9.99 which gives you access to all three games?

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:27 pm

    1. I’ll pass that onto Andy, sure. From my personal opinion, Maximo is a great game. It’s challenging, though. I still haven’t played the second one, though…or opened it, even.

    2. Monkeypaw are looking at it.

    3. Interesting idea. Dunno if anything like that will happen but it’s interesting.

mattledger 25 July, 2012 @ 2:16 pm   25

Any idea when Dyad will be released? People in the US seem to be going buts for that game!

Carnivius_Prime 25 July, 2012 @ 2:16 pm   26

I’d like Lego Batman 2 but I’ll wait til it gets cheaper. Might pick up Wizorb as a friend of a friend made that.

ugh

sports sports sports – no respite from all this Olympics crap. not everyone cares about that some of us play non-sports games because we hate sports – like Dyad would have been nice

why did I have to get the plat on Dragon’s Dogma yesterday?!!

any word on if we’ll be getting Dawnguard dlc for Skyrim – any Tokyo Jungle please

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:30 pm

Skyrim DLC should hopefully be with us next month. Hopefully.

Stay tuned for any possible announcements.

CozMick 25 July, 2012 @ 2:16 pm   28

Looking forward to Foosball, the info is kinda confusing though.

Does it include online multiplayer?

Thanks

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:33 pm

Believe it or not, even I don’t know…I’ll see if I can find out. it aught to though.

*and not any

JohnoBoy 25 July, 2012 @ 2:17 pm   30

Hi Jawad,
Last time I checked, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was still unavailable on the Israeli store, although you said last Friday it should be available soon. Any update on this?
Also, any news on the graphical glitches on the Israeli store’s freebies section?
Thanks

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:37 pm

It has not been added yet. I will chase it up.

The issue persists on various stores so might take time to fix. It’s on the rara though

Starkiller012 25 July, 2012 @ 2:17 pm   31

HI JAWAD, i asked a few weeks back why there is no english version of the psvita version of lego batman 2 in the belgium psn store, did you happen to find out if this will change? thx

chrisboers 25 July, 2012 @ 2:19 pm   32

Peeps, it’s Summer. Updates are supposed to be slimmer this time around. Why is there ALWAYS someone who has to say “Weakest update ever”. Go trolling somewhere else.

That said, I’m happy to see Foosball on Vita (AND PS3), and the Dyad Demo, which I got from the US store. Plus, a Demo for PES 2013, months ahead of the release? Great!

And come on, supply and demand for PSone games? Buy an old PS One and play all the PSOne games you want. I (as most gamers) prefer PS3 graphics and games.

spacedelete1 25 July, 2012 @ 2:19 pm   33

any news on the PS2 GTA games coming to the store ? come on the GTA games were the highest selling games last gen in fact San Andreas is the best selling Playstation game ever yet Xbox 360 has this but PS3 doesn’t.

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:45 pm

Remember in GTAIII where the main guy is always silent? That’s me right now…

    :)

manutreble 25 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   34

Any updates on the Camcom avatars

Gooders_Go 25 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   35

why not puddle for vita? :(

Any ideas when the Toejam & Earl games are being released? Can’t wait to play them again!

orton131 25 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   37

When are we getting Dawnguard for Skyrim, i’m sick of waiting now.

TroubleMaker411 25 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   38

Insert typical ignorant, ungrateful, obnoxious, rude and blatently selfish comment about how this update is rubbish and that Sony haven’t bowed to my specific needs by giving me a game that I feel I deserve
>>>HERE<<<

Cheers for the update Jawad

Causton97 25 July, 2012 @ 2:20 pm   39

Hey Jawad, I don’t suppose you have any news on the Skyrim Dawnguard expansion release date? Or perhaps any Starhawk expansions/map packs?

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:50 pm

In about a month from what I know. Look out for an official announcement.

bidbaldwolf86 25 July, 2012 @ 2:21 pm   40

Nothing for me on the Vita this week. Guess it’s back to MGS HD then and all of those VR missions while I wait for PS1 classics to pop up :p

Good to see more PS2 games on PSN;) Even tho i haven’t heard of most of them:D

Wow, another game not being released in AU/NZ after being promoted on the Blog, (And it even had AU in the country list for the blog post). No Foosball for me then…

Stray84 25 July, 2012 @ 2:21 pm   43

I think it’s time to update the “instant collection” banner.
It shows games that are not available anymore.

RagingAvatar 25 July, 2012 @ 2:22 pm   44

Wow what a naff update..

Is there any news on ‘Samurai & Dragons’ for Vita btw?

ScooterMix 25 July, 2012 @ 2:22 pm   45

    Jawad Ashraf 25 July, 2012 @ 4:56 pm

You may see another chance soon. Super soon.

Found this about DYAD.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-13-dyad-dated-for-psn

Apparently we’ll be waiting a fair bit longer

gr0undp0und 25 July, 2012 @ 2:22 pm   47

Don’t bother making comments of they’re not on page one. You won’t get a response.

FFFanatic2008 25 July, 2012 @ 2:23 pm   48

Hi Jawad,

I was just wondering are the Incorruptus dlc weapons for WKC2 we received around November, only to be removed a week later.

Are these weapons scheduled for re-release or were they a limited time item or perhaps released by mistake when we 1st had the chance for them?

I ask this as these weapons were finally released in the US yesterday and wondered if we will get another opportunity to get them

Also do you know if there is any more scheduled dlc for WKC2?

Thank you

bidbaldwolf86 25 July, 2012 @ 2:23 pm   49

@chrisboers Some of us don’t want the inconvenience of having to swap consoles, locate those games and some of us who have Vitas would like to play then on our nice shiny handhelds. New games are good and old games are good. Don’t like the requests? Then move on

Wizzzorb! Can’t wait to be able to play that beautiful game on my Vita.
