It would have been nice to have at least repeated the Sony apology about CS GO in this recap and given some indication of what channels of communication are being used to find out more for us.
Borderlands 2 is out next month and if there is no CS GO soon, then maybe it will miss it’s chance altogether for a lot of people.
There is a lot of excitement about CS GO at the moment, look at the sites with their videos and reviews – we want to be part of that excitement, not the tail end afterthought.
Posted on 25 August, 2012 at 9:06 pm by Fred Dutton
Hey everybody. Re. Counter-Strike, this will be your channel for finding out more information. I haven’t mentioned it here as I’m afraid I don’t have new details since I posted about it earlier this week. Like I said then, the minute I have new information I will pass it on. You are not being ignored – we’re fully aware of the frustration out there.

I don’t think he’s 15 in the new one. He’s only 19 in DMC3, too.
@ Jawad Ashraf DMC Reboot Dante is age 15 and a juvenile delinquent on the streets and gets taken by police alot. How do i know so much of the story like Dante trys to save a gal but his brother Vergil trys to help but fails to save her and Dantes brother Vergil gets Exile to the demon world at the end of DMC Reboot. How did i know that Jawad Ashraf as i Have completed DMC Reboot game?
DMC Reboot 2013 story i know it all lol and i didn’t like it.
Dante trys to save Kat a memeber of the order as Kat’s boss is Vergil but Dante’s brother Vergil lets her die to save there human world by demon’s. Exile is what Vergil gets trapped into the demon world forever as it seems in DMC Reboot ending Dante says to Vergil if you ever return il kill you Vergil says il never return wile the portal to the demon world close’s hence swearing alot in those words. The rest you guys know.

DMC reboot has tag storys from DMC main boss god. DMC 3 Vergil story and DMC 4 story saving a women. All into one reboot DMC.
Its very sad to see Ninja Theory turn DMC game into a juvenile delinquent game Smoking/Drugs/Alcohol as Dante is age 15 doing adult stuff in a underground world killing demons. All Ninja Theory did was copy the Original storys from DMC games and added a darker juvenile delinquent themes to it.

And apart from this CS:GO riot that occured on Wednesday it’s a shame to see Studio Liverpool go but still, we still some a couple of more UK studios left such as Evolution and London Studio, since Evo made some dirt racing games like WRC franchise and MotorStorm, they could be the only ones that owns WipEout or London Studio. Hope it doesn’t fall into the wrong studio like Nilistic.

So SEGA Classic ToeJam & Earl will release soon along with some other Classics that haven’t been named yet.
Psychonauts is release on the US store next week as an unfortunate PS2 Classic. I was hoping for a HD remake but i’ll take it anyway, as the game is fantastic & quirky!
I’m hoping we hear soon for an update on when Retro City Rampage is released. The last I heard it was early September so fingers crossed.
Are we going to see a release for Final Fantasy X HD at all this year?? I’m hoping they’ve delayed it to release a trilogy including: X, X-2 & XII……..What I can dream!
Posted on 25 August, 2012 at 9:10 pm by Fred Dutton
Not sure about FFX HD – that’s in the hands of publisher Square Enix. Perhaps we’ll learn more at Tokyo Game Show next month?

As iv spoken to IGN.com about SCEE and PSN EU CS GO not being in there store. IGN contacts SCEA about SCEE about SC GO not being in PSN EU and so the CEO of SONY playstation has made a report to FIX CS GO and get it up and running ASAP for PSN EU as theres been mass EU outrage No CS GO in PSN EU store. @Fred Dutton:
Why don´t you say CS:GO has a Bug and our QA Team Working on this?! Like an other Game Months before (Release in US but much later in EU) I belive you have Information but your are not allowed to share. Which is frustrating for the Community. But Sony dont cares about [CENSORED]storms….. and Customers. Did they anything learned after the Hack? I don´t think so. We cant comment on that, we cant comment on this blaba.
I can unterstand the point from Sony a litte bit. But WE are the Customers, WE buy that Stuff, at least with our payment we give someone a Job.
Sony has a new CEO but i don´t see any better here?! Still no Vita Love, Youtube APP still not in EU, Still no PSone Compatibility on Vita, this was announcent on Console Release and reannouncet on Gamescom. Still Problems with PEGI 16 Demos in Germany. Stores looks like a mess. Massive lack of Communication.
Only Good Things are:
little better Pricing on some Games.
The New Plus.
So put the Store Teams up, hire someone! I think the biggest Problem is that SCEE is understaffed for all that EU Stores.

@Skydancerx:
Any company can be hacked, and victim customers got free games after that, so i think they actually cared about us back then, but now they even can’t give us a simple explanation why only WE are left out of a WORLDWIDE announced game. Even the european PC and XBOX360 stores have CS:GO…
Btw i asked that before but i try it again and i really hope for some reliable answer: will CS:GO ever be released on EU store or not? Becouse even this is not clarified to us. I don’t want to wait for a game which never be released…

SONY OFFICIAL CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS PROTOCOL(TM)
“There’s no info at the moment but we will share it with you the minute we get some”.
- Something went wrong and we have no clue what it is. There some e-mail but it is japanese.
“It’s comming very soon”
- It’s late we know, but we can see it in the pipeline. It could be weeks or it could months but it’s coming.
“Thant You for Your patience” *bow*
- We are sorry. We will do it again.
This could be acceptable in Asia but it’s not working very well in the west. Another thing I just don’t understand is Sony’s tendency to announce things when they are planned, not when they are ready (like PSN videostore, several Vita apps). This kind of policy isn’t helping anyone – it just makes Sony look unreliable, nerdy and annoying.
Sony’s going to be in a world of hurt when next gen arrives.

will we be able to get our hands on the counter strike global offensive dynamic theme that came with the pre-order in USA? As it look fantastic!
40
Posted on 26 August, 2012 at 12:31 pm by Golwar
Fred, when you re-do your survey, please don’t forget to give SCEE’s release process & policy and the store itself a lot of space and details to reflect upon.
We wouldn’t want to miss the chance to highlight one of the greatest annoyances that the PS3 has to offer, right?
Though I’m pretty sure that a vast majority already mentioned exactly that when you asked for feedback on the biggest issue. CS:GO was just another drop (too much) of a constant unwelcome experience, made by SCEE.
41
Posted on 26 August, 2012 at 12:32 pm by Specmajster
since next tuseday we’ll have a ps plus update (2 new games ) I expect counter strike to be on it for free.
42
Posted on 26 August, 2012 at 1:04 pm by Golwar
Well, what you expect isn’t necessarily what you receive. I doubt that anything special will happen at all.
If we’d get everything for free that is delayed by just 1 week, we’d have more games than we could manage to play.

Posted on 26 August, 2012 at 1:12 pm by Digital-Splinter
that’s the real problem here if the CS:GO console release had been delayed then everyone would understand. The reason everyone is annoyed is because it is available on Xbox Live & american psn. so it feels like everyone else is enjoying it while we sit and wait with no information if it is even coming at all next week. If it dose not make next weeks ps store update then Sony better expect a lot of annoyed customers. sometimes I wonder who runs PlayStation because it often feels like we are behind Xbox at times. We the customers/fans have stayed with Sony through tough times and they cant even communicate properly with their customers/fans.

@crsxn:
Could be your connection issue. Everything is in working order.
@Digital-Splinter:
Yeah, I’ve been a hardcore PS fan since 1998, I owned some peice of merchandise, talked my friends about PlayStation and many more but this is what bothers me. SCEE’s poor lack of customer service and we us always have to suffer through everything like constant delays on decent games, inconvenient maintenance downtimes, poor support of Vita, poor range of PS2 titles etc. I mean look at SCEA compared to us, ours is a complete joke. And yes if CS:GO doesn’t make it on Wednesday, it will seriously annoy and anger ALOT of European gamers. Let’s also say Konami and Capcom nevered cared for Europe anymore now (well ONLY a little bit.)
48
Posted on 26 August, 2012 at 5:01 pm by supersmith2500
in speaking of poor range of PS2 titles etc. I mean’t the ones on PS2 Classics on EU Store.

@catkiller
Would love to see the Final Fantasy PS2 trilogy come out all in one hit, but i think they will treat these kinda like they have with Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica and with a high price, not that i’m complaining especially when they first listed Resident Evil 4 with the wrong price and I managed to pick it up for £6.00!!!!
@skydancerx
I agree with VITA not having much love at the moment, but we do have Assasins Creed and Little Big Planet soon, but it’s difficult not to be concerned with the VITA, especially with Android mobile games like Dead Space and other emulators, all you need is a gametel controller and a top phone. I think the only saving grace for the VITA at the moment is Trophy Support, whilst we await some new decent games, well that’s the case for me at the moment.
@Fred Dutton
you need to drop Vita Store game prices to compete with other websites like Zavvi, amazon.co.uk etc. I mean FIFA 12 is £14.95 on Zavvi!!!!! I know you (SONY) don’t set the price, but you could still lower it like the other online retailers because they get set the same price as you, so you can’t use the old excuse like ‘we don’t set the price etc…..phew rant over, I’m off to play my gametel!!
