Hi everyone, October is going to be a good month for gaming for me. Mostly i’ll be playing NBA 2K13 (It looks legit, seriously). WWE 13 is out at the end of october plus my birthday on the 26th, and i’m all behind on my ps plus freebies. Starhawk looks interesting as i’ve always wanted to play it in its entirety since the beta, but never had the ‘throw away’ cash to risk it. God bless +! lol.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is not out till next year i think and Rainbow 6: Patriots is going to be a standard setter for all tactical shooters! Happy gaming everyone!

October is going to be an awesome month and here’s why:
- Sonic Adventure 2 HD and NiGHTS (I hope this game comes to the Vita)
- Marvel vs. Capcom Origins (Let’s hope this game gets released soon)
- Doom 3 BFG Edition (Will Doom 1 & 2 get a digital release)
- Hell Yeah! is the next GOTM and that’s from SEGA!
- Will CS:GO make it this time?
- New PSVita content
And also November will be awesome too. Why?
PLAYSTATION ALL-STARS BATTLE ROYALE!!!!

@fred
can you pass this to whoever has to see it to fix the problem.
the commenting system is not working on the android app(dunno about ios)
anytime i post a comment it does not upload at all.
i always check im signed in but comments dont load by 3g or wifi.
its quite annoying to reply to a blog topic(particularly if its a long post) only for it not to show up and be lost.
can you fix this otherwise great app please.

Yes, I will definitely look into this again, and attempt to get to the route of the problem. Stay tuned.

Hey Fred.
I can’t believe that Playstation Mobile (which is, for all intents and purposes, a new Playstation platform) releases next Wednesday and yet there is still no confirmed launch lineup of games. Any reason for this? Can we expect a blog post before Wednesday with a list of the games heading to PSM on day one?
If not, Playstation Mobile is off to a bad start before it has even began. Don’t get me wrong, i love what i’ve heard so far, and i can’t wait to try out some of the new games (FuturLab’s newest games especially), but there have barely been any posts on this blog about it and it launches in 4 days.
Posted on 30 September, 2012 at 3:05 pm by Fred Dutton
Yes, we’ll have a big post early next week detailing all of this. Some great titles on their way…

“I hope the Blog has done a good job of informing you what’s happening on planet PlayStation this week – and if you feel a little out of the loop, now’s a good time to play catch-up.”
Fred, after 5 weeks now of literally no information on CS:GO, other than ‘not this week’ then yes, several thousand eager PSN customers are feeling very out of the loop.
CS:GO was one of the most anticipated digital releases of this year, on PSN Xbox Live and Steam. I have a copy on PC which I am enjoying immensely, but having no copy on PS3 is very disappointing. I have been running my current CS clan now fore 7 years and had hoped to expand into PS3. This is now on hold and a number of people whom I encouraged to get CS:GO on PS3 are now bereft of a game to play together. I feel foolish for encouraging people to play.
I’ve somewhat given up now on asking ‘when’ we will receive CS:GO in Europe. Perhaps this questions is more pertinent….
….Will CS:GO ever be released on PSN in Europe?
Thanks
FxAxF

I don’t have high hopes of CS:GO appearing anytime soon and even if it did I wouldn’t pick it up now, for me the hype has gone.
On topic though, best store update for awhile this week. Picked up Tokyo Jungle, its so Japanese and quite a lot of fun.
Posted on 30 September, 2012 at 3:07 pm by Fred Dutton
Agreed – Tokoy Jungle is a tonne of fun. I encourage everyone to try it out!

Posted on 29 September, 2012 at 7:22 pm by Voodoo341
@dogwalker4000
Entirely agree. It’s clear there’s more than just technical issues holding up CS:GO. The delay has been too long now and SCEE have done unrepairable damage to their reputation. They’ve have stopped commenting on the game now in the hope that everyone forgets about it. I’ll be forgetting about Sony when the Wii U and Xbox720 are released.

CS:GO
guys, SONY CAN’T DO ANYTHING. they have no connection to an third party multiplatform release, they aren’t responsible for what goes in or out the store.it’s all up to the developer/publisher. sony gets an statement saying “Sorry, but we are working with the europe terms & Agreement” (whatever the problem is) that’s it, there not entitled to go in the studio and demand answers, that’s only for exclusive games/companies owned by sony, how many time is fred going to answer you? he already said what the company stated, infact he maybe ignoring you because he or sony HAVE NO OTHER STATEMENT. you want counter strike? go protest/Start an forum page or post on the CS GO forums or ask the company/developer. Sony is not associated with them. Give fred a break.
Assassin’s Creeed Ezio Trilogy & mass effect trilogy (with mass effect 1) Awsome

@Junhal_1234:
Agreed with you Junhal. SCEE doesn’t have ANY info. Want info on CS:GO, go whine at Valve at their forums or even better, Steam might have forums regarding it.

Go and see Capcom Europe on their forums.

Hey Fred been along time iv been having difficulty playing PSN online Ranked games like SFxTK Ranked or TEKKEN TAG 2 Ranked or DOA 5 Ranked as follows im getting Rage Quitters for days and i can’t rank up on these games as they Rage quit all the time can PSN have a function to report Rage quitters as this is realy up setting me all the time.
I think its funny when high rank players on games just Rage Quit when i finish them off with a sick move they Rage Quit then message me on PSN saying Mother blah blah blah swearing at me cuz im low rank and i beat them.
Posted on 30 September, 2012 at 3:21 pm by Fred Dutton
Ah, rage quitters – yes, they’re quite a nuisance. Alas, there’s not much SCEE can do about them. It’s up to developers to include features in their games that try to minimise this sort of thing happening. I feel your pain though!

Being as both SCEE and Valve are being suspiciously, and infuriatingly, quiet on the subject of CS:GO we have to develop our own hypotheses based on available information.
Valve are the developer and SCEE the publisher. The game is finished and released on PC worldwide, 360 in the USA, 360 in Asia, 360 in Europe, PSN in the USA, PSN in Asia, but not PSN in Europe. This implies that the delay in Europe is not due to a technical issue. A technical issue would be the fault of the developer not the publisher; ie. Valve not SCEE. So we can conclude that Valve is not at fault. There have been some who believe that the delay is due to the lack of full language support for EU. My PC copy has all EU languages already so this is unlikely.
Secondly, it is not so much the lack of the game as the lack of any valid information which is driving CS fans mad. We have had 6 updates in the past 5 weeks and each one has been a simple ‘not this week’. Irrespective of whose fault it is behind CS:GO not being released, it is pure bad customer service to have customers begging for information every week and to ignore them and their requests almost completely.
Regards
FxAxF
Posted on 30 September, 2012 at 3:19 pm by Fred Dutton
While I fully appreciate how frustrating it is for fans of the game, this is nothing to do with SCEE or Valve ignoring their customers. The simple fact is, as is commonplace in any industry, there are confidential business agreements involved. Like I said before, when it’s possible to offer an accurate update, we will do so, immediately. Sorry it’s a nuisance – I can only ask for your patience.
25
Posted on 30 September, 2012 at 9:11 am by dogwalker4000
@FxAxF
A simple google search would show you that SCEE is not the publisher of CS:GO, Valve are. Just because it was due to be released on PSN it doesn’t mean that SCEE is therefore the publisher, they are no more a retailer of the game. You wouldn’t go into Gamestation every week demanding a statement from them if your favourite game were not released on time would you?
It’s Valves game and Valves responsibility to get it to the platforms they said it would release for. Got problem? Then people should go whine on there forums because SCEE obviously don’t have the answers.

kinda disappointed to read that playstation all stars roster for launch is now complete and additional fighters will be now supported by dlc.
what’s the bets that all the fighters people feel are missing like snake and crash and cloud are going to show up as paid dlc that adds no additional content other than a new person to use 2 or 3 months down the line when your no longer as into the game as you where at the start and they dont get the same use.
i hope this does not happen and some are added via free update and others you can buy or low cost packs and its around launch widow than i guess i wont be too upset.

@dogwalker4000
SCEE must be the unluckiest company ever! Value mess them about, Tell Tale mess them about, SOE mess them about and even Sony mess them about. If you really think SCEE have no blame for their shockingly poor service then you’re blind. SCEE are incompetent simple as that.
29
Posted on 30 September, 2012 at 3:17 pm by dogwalker4000
I never said they weren’t to blame for anything, I’m merely pointing out that the responsibility is not entirely theirs, Valve have to take their share of the blame for its no show and current lack of info. Looks like from where I’m sitting that they’re in no rush to get it pushed through.
Maybe the news of an impending update for CS:GO is also an indication that it is indeed coming. Whether or not it does, all of them (Valve & SCEE) need to learn from this mess

Hi Fred
I asked you something in the previous post in what makes a perfect kids game but there was no reply to anyone so going to copy and paste my question here.
Just want to ask you have you any news on dragon ball z budokai hd collection? I’m looking forward to this game for old times sake but would also like to know, is it possible the rumor about dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi hd collection could be released someday?
Also do you know if budokai 3 will have online?

Hi
I am sure you are aware a number of people have purchased the PS3 DLC Pack 1 for Pinball Arcade earlier and then realized, a week later, that the Vita pack was not free for them. We are still waiting for an official reply about this. When will the issue be fixed?
I currently cannot download the VITA pack or unlock the tables beacuse the PSN wants me to pay once again.
I already paid for the PS3 pack so I just need to be able to downlaod the Vita version.
I hope you can reply to this and there is not another confidentiality agreement than prevent you from giving us an update.

Thanks for the reply;) + I just checked today again on Argos & Amazon.co.uk sites & still no stock of the New PS3′s.
Argos did say – ‘Order into store to collect – Fri 5th – Sun 7th October’
& Amazon nothing yet(well it says – ‘Temporarily out of stock’ But they never had any in stock anyway yet):D I guess it is out later in those places then & wasn’t out last week in every shop in the UK which is very odd. Oh well;)

I cannot wait for CS:GO any longer. I was hoping to play it this week as it is the last week before school resumes for the final term (In Australia). I have lost all of my patience and when CS:GO does come out please make up for it and make it worth it.

yeah all of this is nice and all, but wheres that feature that will allow us to play any ps3 game we want on the vita while streaming it through 3g or wifi as promised at e3 2011, I bought a ps3 and vita for that purpouse I am less than happy that I can’t play any of my 30 ps3 games on my vita, so where on my ps3 is that feature and how do I access it and what do I need to select on my vita to make it work.

Hi Fred,
I put my heart in this request, I hope you or any other members of the blog staff could answear this…
It’s about a old Sony’s game, The Eye of Judgment… Many people spent a lot of money on the game and cards and some brought the game few weeks before the online ended (which was a very nasty thing to these people who supported sony’s this expensive game)…
I know the servers will never come back online, what I want to request is to make the dlc for set 2 and 3 free, or at least at a reasonable price… It’s never to late to make up with us, EOJ gamers and loyal sony costumers and as it is a first party and old title I think it is not that hard for you to make it happen…
My best regards
