PlayStation Home will briefly be offline from 8.00am BST on Wednesday 3rd October for routine maintenance. Here’s what to expect after the update…
Home Tycoon is here! Create your dream city with over 60 unique buildings, race through the streets with your friends in turbo-charged sports cars, unlock over 50 avatar rewards, and share your metropolis with the world on the leaderboards! The only limit is your own imagination.
Head over to the Home Tycoon Train Station now to get your own FREE city and start earning rewards!
Aurora 1.6 is here and there have been both new additions and some layout changes. Here’s a quick preview of how it looks:
Blimps sees you playing a game of tag with 32 people. You are given a free blimp but you are able to purchase new ones with different designs and better manoeuvrability. If you do, you will be rewarded with Aurora XP to help you reach Level 100 and obtain the Aurora Champion Apartment. We want to hear from you and allow our community to help shape how Blimps evolves over time. Head over to the forums and let nDreams know what you think.
Lockwood have a Halloween Extravaganza on the way for you over the next few weeks! First up, freaky teeth will give your costume extra bite! Next up, PODI has some spooky surprises in store for brave firework enthusiasts. Also this week a special little something for all the Homelings out there – FREE Head Extenders to ensure those Neurocraniums really are superior!

Some interesting new stuff (Home Tycoon) & some not so interesting.
Do we really need another shooter in Home ? Or is Sony desperate to attract shooter fans into Home ?
FIFA13 has sold 1 million copies in the past week, yet Home continues to ignore the biggest sport on the planet ? Even mobile phones have lots of decent football games.
Home needs a good mix of ideas not just more & more shooters. Sports & Adventure areas are pretty pathetic

some ideas for ps home mr zoba pass them on please
1. search box in wardrobe – so we can find all items in that catagory aka Ndreams lockwood etc
2. ceeling lights that project images of stars snow etc on the floor like the old singstar rooms RIP.
3. more slots to add stuff insted of 100 furniture slots 200 slots
4. lootgear boat & hollywood apartment we want that one badly

thanx Zoba i own the Cutteridge Estate will the ghost stories if it is called that will be added to the estate for free or do i have to buy it and after halloween can i still play the ghost stories or is it a one off for halloween plz say it isnt so

@2 why dont you fix it yourself dont you understand that Zoba and ps home team are working hard to make ps home better then it used to be they cant fix everything at once
i aplaud Zoba and his HOME staff for making ps3 home great and as for the ps3 store IT IS NOT BROKE so dont fix it and sony will add games when they can you cant rush them

Can’t stop laughing at this guy spamming posts, oh my XD I wonder how hard it is to put the ideas all together and make a single post LOOL Other thing making me laugh is all this praise to PS Home today when on the previews weeks we only ready trash talk about the “game”, and will probably the next week (depending) haha
Anyway, back in topic, I don’t think it is a great update but I’m curious about Aurora 1.6, as for the rest I’ll pass.

I think the Home on Vita thing needs to be looked at more closely, as I don’t buy the size issue- we see PS3 games like PlayStation All Stars, Sly, and others being ported to Vita, and the process explained (compressing textures etc.)
You could roll it out non-retrospectively, as in port Home Square and other Sony spaces, and continue doing that in future and give other developers/publishers the option.
HOWEVER, please some important person see this and tell someone who can do something – the PS Vita keyboard needs improvement, it’s too small! Just options for increased size would be nice. Let me use it with the buttons like on PS3, I’d type a lot faster, just improve it please.

I’m not sure where to put this but if you could forward onto the home tycoon guys i would appreciate it
Problems with it:
1. cars should be on the road and on THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD not all over the place crashing into the building and into each other and all over the grass
2. 10 mins wait for a worker to be available??? are you serious?? make it 5 mins. that’s ridiculous.
3. i don’t know if the game has a bank or not but if there was it would be nice to be able to make a trade of 10,000 in cash for a gold coin or something. give people a chance to get coin without having to buy.
4. allow players to collect the money from buildings without the workers. the waiting time for them to be available is bad enough
5. the game is very buggy. it kicked me out saying it was turned to private. it was my city and i didn’t change that…

6. auto buildings…. i want to build the city my way. why does the game put random stuff in areas i don’t want? it replaced my headquarters which is bought with 30 gold. thanks
(for number 6 i figured if you leave the game and return everything goes back to the way you had it but if you touched it then its gone forever)
7. the running around is wayyy too slow for such a big map. got to be able to run faster

to add on from your points(if you don’t mind)
8. there should be a option where you can purchase cash too
9. we should be able to move buildings around without having to destroy them and rebuild equalling to even more money/coins/cash.. or whatever to be spent.. cunning plan to make us spend more money yes! but also a turn off for when we’ve got over the whole excitement.. I doubt anyone will keep coming back. (just my opinion)
Also.. I have completed all the missions.. now I’m just getting phone calls to buy the add ons.. was that really it for the in game missions?
