Welcome. The new look PlayStation Store launches shortly, bringing with it a broad selection of new content.

Chainsaw_PVWIMG<

Doom 3 BFG Edition is the ultimate bundle for fans of the groundbreaking shooter that defined the modern FPS. It includes Doom, Doom II, Doom 3, and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, including the ‘Lost Mission’. On top of that, all Doom 3 content has been re-mastered in stunning 3D for an even more terrifying FPS experience

Elsewhere, Lee’s story continues in the latest episode of Telltale Game’s excellent The Walking Dead tie-in. It’s the penultimate entry in the five part series. Sleeping Dogs is now available for digital download and Namco Bandai’s quirky action title A-MEN is well worth a look too. Oh, and don’t overlook BreakQuest: Extra Evolution in minis.

How come Symphony of the Night got postponed?
Konami Obviously had it ready for release, why do you always have to put so many sticks in the wheel?
If you are having problems getting it on the store, ask Microsoft, they’ve had it for 5 years.

And these problems with the Monkeypaw-games running in 50 hz, MY GOD! there is a 9 page thread on the PS EU forums, get it fixed already!
What’s so freggin hard? just replace the eboots with the ones on the American store, they work.
“It’s not that easy, blabla generic answer…”, It IS that easy, but you are always to narrow minded, for shame.

@jawad

so let me ask again where is CS:GO or the youtube app
seems after a army off complaints you guys seriously show no progress towards improving i hope enough users go xbox 2 notice the difference in bad service next GEn.

isnt the borderlands 2 ????????? dlc out todays ??? and still no retro city or spyro sony eu is becoming the let down it used to be on digital connent i know its not your fault jawad but eu is always getting screwd hard =[

Is KZ Liberation compatible with the Vita yet? I’m sure it was already on the store so I’m not sure why else it would be included in the update.

THE WALKING DEAD! WOOO HOOO! :)

Carnivius_Prime 17 October, 2012 @ 3:07 pm   6

Disappointed with lack of Retro City Rampage again. I’ll give the All Stars beta a go.

@Lenomy

they all stupid SCEE rules but they just blame other things like publishers certain countries.

@ Jawad:

Hi there Jawz! How are you?

Before anything else, I wanted to apologize for my breakdown last week (comment in page 4), after your “not in october” message about Spyro. I had a lot of steam to blow off, but I think I exaggerated a bit.

I’ve come back to ask about any news about Spyro, but if the dragon ain’t gonna make it as soon as we thought, I’ve made something for the Ps Classics QA team (see below).

http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/EncouragementForSCEE_Spyro_byAlexPSN89_small_5497.JPG

So… sorry about last week, and I mean it. Thanks for all you guys have done so far in order to give us the Spyro classics – now all you need to do is complete the task! :-)

Still no Retro City Rampage?

No Retro City Rampage?

Natscookie 17 October, 2012 @ 3:08 pm   11

Will be taking the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta and the new Walking Dead episode, thank you very much.

szyszunia14 17 October, 2012 @ 3:08 pm   12

Not a bad update :)

IMPORTANT QUESTION:

When can we expect Need for Speed Most Wanted as a pre-order? Will it contain some extras ?

MordecaiHunter 17 October, 2012 @ 3:08 pm   13

Dokuro for Vita ?

jawad is there no avatars today? if there is avatars what have we got?

Lethalx08 17 October, 2012 @ 3:09 pm   16

*cries* no RCR.

MidgetOlympics 17 October, 2012 @ 3:09 pm   17

Any chance of a decent sale ? and a release date for Retro City Rampage.

SCEE motto failure comes first cause then that means less work 2 be done overprice the games 2 get more profit then if content not in certain countries blame publishers cause that’s easier. metadata probably got constructed 2 make more money out off publishers.

Is there any reason why the blog post for the Store Update is postet later and later in recent weeks?
4 pm (where I live), the day is half over.

Would be nice to receive a reply.

    Fred Dutton 17 October, 2012 @ 3:24 pm

Heh Jesse, this is my domain so I’ll answer. It now launches at 3.00pm BST every week. In the past we were struggling to get it translated for local EU regions in time for the old 1.30pm publication slot so we’ve pushed it back slightly. I know you’d like the info sooner, but I hope you still get enough notice ahead of the Store refresh to make your purchasing decisions. Apologies for any inconvenience.

@3 me lol sorry miss read blog the dlc is today but still sony eu is losing it again =[

Why does it say I’m not a ps+ member on the store??

PsychoDantis 17 October, 2012 @ 3:10 pm   22

No Halloween sale?

Any news about Komani saying Synphony of the night would be out last week?

Any news on a date for Retro City Rampage for Vita yet, Jawad? I know you said it was in certification last week, how long does this usually take?

AlexPSN89 17 October, 2012 @ 3:10 pm   25

@ Jawad:

(sorry for the double post as well, there was a screw-up when submitting the comment… doing things in a rush has this effect on me, you see.)

dozensnake 17 October, 2012 @ 3:10 pm   26

where is CS:GO goddamit

soot_and_stars 17 October, 2012 @ 3:10 pm   27

When are we supposed to be getting the PSStore upgrade? Mine still shows the old store/content.

Killzone: Liberation great game on PSP. Wanna remake with trophies on Vita :)

Chocobo115 17 October, 2012 @ 3:10 pm   29

Hey Jawad.
Got nothing to complain about this week.

Somewhat interested in that PSP RPG collection, just have to check some reviews of one of the games.

I know you have tried with both Nisa & square-enix.

I has been wondering a bit, would it be possible to invite a square-enix spokesperson to the blog that we can directly request PSone classics?
I tried to ask in the FF14 post last week but he just wanted to talk about FF14 8understandable).
I feel the damand would be bigger if they came here than asking us to sign onto their forums.

Organisation and search of new store are terrible

fixed the ps+ error?
when i first looked at the new store, i wanted to buy the unfinished swan. i could not buy or add it to the cart. and i was no loonger a psplus member (what gives, im until 16/9-2013)… fixed?

MissDreamer 17 October, 2012 @ 3:11 pm   32

Hi. Does anybody know if Munch’s Oddysee Hd going to get released at all. I can’t find any information on this game at all. Has it been cancelled. I hope not. Thanks.

I have a question regarding Starhawk, does anyone know if when purchasing the Multiplayer package is downloaded it merges into the SP already downloaded or do they stay separate games on the XMB?

I only ask as would like the full game in one package but obviously already have the SP free on plus (great game by the way)

Anyway looking forward to buying The unfinished Swan and trying out PS all stars!

Thanks for the Help!

Come on, Retro City Rampage…

Microsoft somehow always manages to release games in every region at the same time on XBLA. Why is this so damn impossible for Sony/SCEE?

(And yes I know that RCR isn’t available on Xbox at the moment…but if it were, it would be available in Europe as well as USA – no doubt).

Any news of a Retro city rampage, closure, or dyad (Plus Tomba on vita) release date would be very welcome. Thank you.

Thanks for the update.
Any update on the roll out of PS mobile outside the initial countries? (More specifically South Africa)

Keep up the great work!

Chaosprower 17 October, 2012 @ 3:13 pm   37

Is Battle Royale available for ALL Vita users or does it also require Plus?

Popeye_1986 17 October, 2012 @ 3:13 pm   38

Nice update, lots of good stuff!
Too bad the new PS Store doesn’t recognize me as a PS Plus-member anymore. Any idea about when this will be fixed? Because I was really looking forward to the Battle Royale beta!

Playtoy_17 17 October, 2012 @ 3:13 pm   39

Hi jawad

Please Answer

1. Any update on Crash Bash making it on the store?, if so will it be released this year and will it be the PAL version?

2. Now that your in regular contact with telltale, any updates on getting wallace and gromits grand advetures? I have tried contacting them, your my last, please ask them for it, Pretty please with a cherry on top.

3. Lastly any updates on Monster House a PS2 Classic?, THQ are good with PS2 Classicss, have you asked them?

Many Thanks

supersmith2500 17 October, 2012 @ 3:13 pm   40

You know, you might as well get Valve to cancel CS:GO now. It’s too late and big hits Black Ops 2 is coming. Nice job having Doom3 on though but I’ll just stick to getting it retail.

Nice to see PSone games is getting some decent games instead of shovelware. Hope to see Spyro soon. Btw what happened to Symphony of the Night?

Jesse-Blue 17 October, 2012 @ 3:14 pm   41

By the way, Unfinished Swan is already on the store via search, bought it half an hour ago!
Yay, so curious about this game!

b-k-Bitschnau 17 October, 2012 @ 3:14 pm   42

Ok, you beat me, PSN-team!

This time I am officially giving up on CS:GO.

You are one big disappointment to me and this will not be forgotten in any further buying decisions!

the1free_man 17 October, 2012 @ 3:14 pm   43

Hi Jawad!
Will there be a Halloween sale?
If so, I’d like to request the two resident evil chronicles games. Those are Halloween-y, right?
Thanks!

FaZeR2009 17 October, 2012 @ 3:14 pm   44

@jawad

http://www.siliconera.com/2012/10/08/a-skeleton-saves-a-princess-on-october-16/

http://thesilentchief.com/2012/09/27/gungho-online-entertainment-america-to-publish-ragnarok-odyssey-in-europe/

No Counter-Strike: Global Offensive… this is beyond a joke now, released on all other platforms like a month ago.

YritaEdes 17 October, 2012 @ 3:15 pm   47

Hey Jawad do you happen to have any info when the Dark Souls dlc will come out?

millgate1 17 October, 2012 @ 3:15 pm   48

Jawad,

Superbot said that the PS All Stars BETA for Vita would be out for everyone today and that it was only the PS3 BETA that was exclusive for PS+. Please reply.

    Jawad Ashraf 17 October, 2012 @ 4:00 pm

This is correct. If you are a Vita user then you will get access. If you’re a PS3 user then you will need Plus to gain access this week, or wait until next week.

The_Last_Ninja 17 October, 2012 @ 3:16 pm   49

Damn, still no Retro City Rampage, and still no Sine Mora, Sony if you don t plan to release some games in some region (Madden 13 Vita) just allow people to download them an dplay them !!

Mattrapid441 17 October, 2012 @ 3:17 pm   50
