Hey everyone, welcome once again to my weekly update about what’s new and awesome over on the Official PlayStation Forums!
Our Community is getting ready for some amazing Halloween special events, involving a unique one off special GT5 Event and even a few PlayStation Home Halloween events. When is this happening, we hear you scream! Isn’t it obvious? Halloween! 31st October. Come join us all and find out more information in either our GT5 Board or PlayStation Home Events board.
In other news, a few weeks ago we launched our very own Community Team Podcast on the PlayStation Forums, discussing favourite games, community competitions, events and some of the hottest PS3 news. We are always looking for your feedback and questions, so please give the Podcast a listen to and reply in this blog article with your thoughts and suggestions or even on the Podcast thread itself.
We have recently launched a competition to win WRC 3! If you want a chance to prove you’ve got what it takes in the most treacherous driving conditions around, then be sure to enter the competition as soon as you can. All you need to do to enter is reply in the competition thread stating your choice of a PlayStation character who you would want as a Co-Driver in a Rally Car.
If you haven’t noticed already, we are currently hosting a special racing community month across all of our European PlayStation Forums. We have several kinds of racing-related discussions and events going on during this time and we hope that you will all enjoy this month and have fun discussing and taking part in the activities as well. Just so you guys on the Blog don’t miss out, one of our discussions we raised on the Forum lately is: “What type of competition do you enjoy most from racing games? Do you like challenge scenarios, Tournaments, Leagues, Careers or something else in particular”

What’s with WRC 3? There has been little info on vita version and it isn’t on psn, yet it is apparently released. Any info at all?

I agree with SpitelordDekka. If this was in the ‘what’s new’ section of my XMB I would check these events out directly from my PS3.

Friendly heads up for you corporate folk:
The new PlayStation store is absolute GARBAGE. Why you have to turn it into some (CENSORED) iphone-wannabe BS app which runs like (CENSORED) and looks like a (CENSORED) jumbled mess is anyone’s guess.
…do you folk have any idea about how limited PS3′s RAM is? (clue: most phones since 2010 have PS3 beat in spades).
My advice – give users a CHOICE next time you plan on doing something dumb with our account services.

Avengerrr, yes wrc3 for vita is out in Retail. Got it Saturday, havent had much time on it but a very good rally game

I want my 15 pound back off sony for my GT5 & im not taking it to the shop as they never [CENSORED] refund. Nearly everytime i go onto track i get a black screen then i have to quit game, I love the game but it [CENSORED] me off with this issue& its clearly only me as everyone else keeps changing cars of free roam & im lucky if i can just get out with anything.
