Hi everyone. Well, it’s my favorite time of year again – Halloween, when all the ghosts and ghouls come out to scare the pants off of us for a single dark night. It’s also the one night of the year that we can all pig out on candy and sweets and not have to feel guilty. Well, not that guilty.
You all probably know by now my love for Tim Burton and his amazing gothic aesthetic. This was something that I really had in the back of my mind when creating Puppeteer – dark and creepy but with a great sense of humor. Of course, his work on Nightmare Before Christmas is phenomenal but I also love his short movie Vincent, voiced by Vincent Price. In the same vein, Puppeteer is packed to the rafters with insane situations and creepy fun, all wrapped around gameplay that will keep you coming back for more.
In Puppeteer, our hero escapes from Castle Gristlestein – the dark and gloomy castle of the Moon Bear King – and sets out on his adventure to retrieve his disembodied head. His extraordinary journey will take him to many surprising and diverse locations, one of which is the spooky world of Hallowee Ville. In this land of frights, things have really gone to pot since the Moon Bear King took over the Moon Realm. Who needs to be scared for fun on an outing to Hallowee Ville, when your whole world is full of fear?
So, because it’s Halloween and to give you, the PlayStation fans, something spooky for the holiday, I have put together a special Halloween trailer cut from some of the scary situations to be found in our hero’s adventures in Hallowee Ville. Just remember to watch from behind the sofa and check under the bed before you go to sleep at night.
Have a spooky, crazy Halloween,
Gavin (currently hiding under the duvet)

Rich platformy goodness. Between this, Sly, Dokuro and probably more, 2013′s going to be a very SWEET year for platformers.

Looks absolutely beautiful. Exclusives like ‘Puppeteer’ are what makes me abandoning SCEWW in the new year so hard (I assume Puppeteer isn’t to be released until 2013?).
After eighteen years of lies, deception and a complete lack of respect for the consumer, I’ve had enough of SCEE.
But to the team behind Puppeteer, congratulations on producing what looks to be one of the greatest digital releases of all-time. I’m certain you don’t need it, but good luck on the launch. I’m positive Puppeteer will do great.

I think Gavin’s still hiding under the duvet…
Once again Mr Moore did all the voices for this trailer. But we need to get him to spend less time in the recording booth and more time finishing the game

“to be one of the greatest digital releases of all-time.”
It’s not a digital title. It could be duel release, but it’ll be on disk.

@Scuffy_P You just described every publisher and platform holder in the games industry so you must be leaving gaming completely?
The grass most certainly isn’t greener on the other sides. Especially if you like a wide variety of exclusive games polished for a single target platform and plenty of new IP introduced throughout the lifecycle of a system.
But maybe you’ll have to discover that for yourself.

Sorry to interupt, I wouldn’t do that if I would not be out of options right now – contacted the publisher to no avail. I put money on the store… I just want the thing I paid for any help appreciated:
Having Problems with the bought Season Pass for Darksiders 2
If I would download The Abyssal Forge from the Playstation Store, it would charge me 7.99 €, despite me having the Season Pass. THQ advised redeeming the content within the Season Pass within the game, so I tried.
If I select Season Pass in the game, I’m gonna get taken away to the OLD storefront and receive error code 80023110 and no content is displayed. Same goes, when entering the PlayStation Store from the game.
So, I’ve paid about 15.00 € for the Season Pass and can’t access it. Any advises? I hope this issue gets resolved within 24hrs. Thank you!

On Topic: The game (Pupeteer) always amazes me seeing it in motion… also I hope the “viewer” reactions on the trailer are also included on the game…

This looks really, really amazing, and I’m really looking forward to be able to play this game on my PS3 (and am hoping for a Vita release, even if it’s through Remote Play).
Keep up the good work, this game really is set to become very impressive!
