‘Heads-Up’ Game Store Update 7th November 2012

Cubixx HD isn’t only a trial, you can buy the free version through the game’s menu, @HazelAM. That’s how I did it anyway… Better than how Double Dragon Neon went at least.

Bring back the dynamic theme video preview on the Portuguese Store. We had ‘em on the old store why remove on the new? Also, I noticed that the US store still has the video previews so make it happen (a.k.a. bring them BACK).

Hi Jawad,Uncharted Drake’s Fortune is missing from the store.

Also I don’t think the store has updated properly, the last time I checked I had to add and remove filters just to see Crysis 2, as for rachet and clank? who knows?

Cubixx HD still lists itself at full price for PS Plus users, fix this!

Just to let people know to get crysis 2 and ratchet and clank all 4 one you need to search for them they are there as i’m downloading them and they cost me nothing with ps+.

I’ve never seen this before so excuse me if this is a new and usless feature of the new store (which is terrible).

In the PS+ area. Why are there ‘new’ items which say unavailable, even though I can select them and actually read what they are? Currently see Assassins creed revelations maps and ‘When vikings attack dynamic theme’

How on earth can a digital purchse be unavailable? If the item isn’t there… why is it even on the store?

Wheres the rest of the update? NO PS+ update, theres still a huge banner on the PS+ IGC page and the store in general still sucks, you have had ATLEAST a week to sort out these bugs (I say “at least”, one would have hoped they would have ut some beta-testing in, or tested it at all? or took some feedback? or pulled it off if they thought it needed fixed? no? too sensible?)

Have patience, the store is slowly updating, if you want All 4 One, find it via search.

We shouldn’t have to wait of the games or dlc,ever since we got the new store we getting later and later updates.jawad please for god sake just give us the old store back.

god you don’t make it easy to like you SCEE, i said nice things about this store update for once but you make it very easy to attack you with my cynicism views, i try everything to find DMC-HD classics even that dreadful search only come up with DMC4 disc only.

Another week another fail, some content is missing, delays get worse, R&C All 4 One is still not in the plus area, Cubixx is a trial instead of the full game. I’m getting sick of this mess and seriously going to get REAL angry in the minute.

Following a letter to PSM3 (check the latest issue) the editor has agreed to conduct a full investigation into game delays and game missing in action and, above all, the total lack of communication and transparency from SCEE. We need someone to champion our consumer rights. What is more shameful is that I have been unable to post on this forum for a month as my post are completely blocked, even though I do not use foul language. My views are perceived to be inconvenient.
This is not a place where consumers are free to express their views because anyone that is not behaving as a fan boy is not welcome

When I go to the PS+ discounts area of the store if I scroll to the bottom what do I see?

BLANK CONTENT just like in the old store!!!

Come on SCEE, wasn’t the new and improved store meant to have got rid of this problem??

Just to check it wasn’t just a one time glitch I exited the store and went back to the same area. 7 instead of 14 blank content items this time.

I tried again and it was back to 14 blank items.

You can click on the blank thumbnails (more like hand prints. Why are they soooo big??) and there is content inside but it’s pot luck as to what it may be!!

I was a fan of the store at first but from using over the past few weeks I feel it is awful!! It is terrible for window shopping.
If you know EXACTLY what you are after then “search” isn’t to bad but if you just want a look about then scrolling through 400+ items just isn’t enjoyable

Please answer me (tomorrow as I know it’s late) and at least let me know that the problem is being sorted.

May it be possible for Sony (scee or scea) to create a website or a service where all Psn users can request the games they would like to see brought out digitally on the psn store ranging across all platforms ps1/ps2/ps3 Psp/Vita & Psn & imported Japanese titles, this way all Psn users can show Sony and all the publishers the games that are highest in demand and the games that would instantly make a large profit if re-released digitally on the store. It makes much better sense to have all the titles and Psn users clearly requesting these games to be released in future updates in the one place and much easier for publishers to see which titles will instantly make a profit being released on the store, then request Psn users to go to each publisher website and request they release these games digitally over their forums which only a very small percentage of Psn users would ever take the time to do, not giving the publishers an accurate gauge of which games are highest in demand to be re-released. Again many older games won’t be released on the store as the publishers don’t know yet that Psn users really want them re-released.

You know what SCEE are a total joke and here’s why:

- Overpriced Content (Due to EA and Activision)
- LACK of communication
- Vita is dying due to lack of support
- Store is MUCH WORSE with unoraginsed content and constant glitches
- Delays this, Delays that then we see about 3-6 months late
- SLOW QA
- Lack of news on when games are coming
- FALSE PROMISES!
- Bad Customer Service
- Forced to have SingStar spam on the XMB
- Spoils the US while Europe gets bitten to dust

That’s it, ENOUGH is ENOUGH. I’m off to Steam for digital gaming now on. Cheap Sales and great Deals. Screw the PS4, Sony has lost my support.

Agreed! I work in a big IT company here in Czech Republic and every time someone fails at something, boss says: Ok, do it better next time, we are not SCEE :X
These guys are pathetic… I would fire every single one of them (maybe except for the new PS+ blog guy)

Great another broken store update!

Why isn’t the issue with Darksiders 2 Season Pass users fixed and why do I need to pay for Cubixx HD when it is free for PS Plus usrs? Under game collection it shows up for me as purchased (played the demo why it was originally released) but when I click on it says I have to pay for the 5.9 kB file to unlock the game.

BTW where is pid? Or this also delayed like counter strike and ton of other stuff…

Why do I have to put money on my account do download 2 free games?

Ho hum store still not updated…this new PSN store design really has messed everything up.

update seems to be pretty much live now, not sure about Cubizz as it may just be the unlock key (took over a minute to go back from “download in background” and I left for about 10 minutes, so im not sure if its the whole game)
R&C needs searched. Would have atleast thought some of the Crysis DLC would be discounted as way of appology however x_X
now its oly a few hours late, but it shouldnt be, the store clearly is still in beta, and thats why we should get an appology or it should be pulled >_>.

Hey Jawad when i go to the ps plus section it says crysis 2 is free. I put it in my cart and go to checkout but then it tells me it costs 240 danisk kroner while it stil has the plus logo under crysis 2 saying free. I know this isnt your job and i am sorry to bother you with this but it makes me angry, i was looking forward to be playing it and then i cant even download???

I mean look at Steam. It puts PSN EU to shame!

Other games are still trials if you download them again at least for me resident evil 5 was a trial second time downloading after a hard drive fail.borderlands.saints row and red dead redemption all games I downloaded on plus that are either just trials now or like red dead just a trial and has the price back on it.even though I’ve downloaded these on plus once before.resident evil I just get sorry you can not download this product at the moment.lol not sure what the hell is going on

Sony seems to do everything in such a slapdash way when it comes to digital content. No need to go into specific points because they have already been voiced over and over again by various posters. I think its about time Sony computer entertainment Japan, Europe, America unified at least on their digital operation. Steam and Xbox are already far superior and with Windows 8 OS mirroring the Xbox dashboard people are going to find it more familiar to use Microsoft services and hardware. The only thing I can think is that Sony can currently rely on the casual COD and Fifa market so a dodgy digital store really only affects the hardcore ‘passionate’ gamers so it isn’t a particular priority at the moment. If the next console is digital only I predict PlayStation in Europe will suffer if things don’t change.

Quite a chore to wade through the “I’m entitled to whatever I say” posts and read the genuine complaints. While I do think some people need to calm the HECK down and blow up things way out of proportion (SCEA has screw ups as well, although they get solved much quicker), at this time I’d say:

Cancel next week’s update and take the time to troubleshoot the entire system. It now seems as though update after update just corrupts the store even more. Cumulative problems cause even a pretty tolerant and easily satisfied customer such as myself to doubt the competence of the team.

But on the other hand, I wouldn’t be surprised if you guys are underpaid and understaffed yet encumbered with big demands. Just don’t let it to turn into a snowball effect.

And you lot think you have problems with the store,try getting into ps home getting loads of errors plus keeps crashing on home’s nav screen,I give up just too many things going wrong with ps3 at the moment.

Looks like we’re getting Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, Crysis 2 & Cubixx HD. Very happy as I haven’t played any of the 3.

Regarding Cubixx HD, just play the trail and when it says to purchase the game, it’ll bring you to the store and then show it’s free for us PS+ people.

Thats a good recommendation. I too believe that the people running the store are overstretched but you just expect more from the brand quite frankly. They need to rethink the way they do digital if indeed this the future.

My grandad said always buy Sony because you can rely on the quality. While this still seems to apply to hardware, the services available leave a lot to be desired. Even a store that generates Sony revenue is badly run, theres people commenting regularly who buy things with hard earned money that do not work / missing content and charged wrongly. Its unacceptable really.

R&C: All4One is not in the Plus Section. But when i serach the Game is available.

Seriously the only Reason we dont have it is that there is no Private Mode for the PS3 Version. It think Sony Europe is a litte upset cause the Xbox Version has one. I bet on the Day the Private Mode got Patchet, we got the Game in the Store. For Plus Users for free of course. Who will Buy a 12 Weeks Old Game?

I think that also the Reason why Portal 2 Motion DLC is not available in EU.

That’s the digital content they buy doesn’t work, not the actual commentators lol*

I noticed the U.S. store is getting Portal 2 for $13 to Playstation Plus users. Will the same deal be coming to the E.U. store? Also I’ve lost count of how many weeks its been since the U.S. store got the Youtube app, is it EVEN coming to the E.U. store? I’ve noticed you’ve been ducking questions about it.

the first uncharted game is on the store and its not the advertised sale price, its 9.99, just another mistake, but from what i can see its another week of complaints, but il give you a A+ for content this week, even though the service is poor.
