‘Heads-Up’ Game Store Update 14th November 2012

Hello, don’t know if this question i got is for asking here, but you seem to answer questions about PSN so. today, i thought i would start singstar on my xmb, cause i remembered i bought some songs some years ago, and when i’m in the game i check my “purchase history” and look there the songs are. nice i think, but ONE big problem, i can’t download them, cause for some up reason they belong to another PS3 system, a broken one, not another account, and then i think, check if i can buy them again in the store, but NO, can’t buy them again cause they are in my “purchase history” so they tell me, go download them again. now, since my old PHAT ps3 is dead and gone, and my newer slim can’t get songs that belong to ME, i’m kinda pissed off about this. is this something you can comment on, or are my monet just wasted that i bought songs some years ago? cause this ain’t right!..

Still no Retro City Rampage.
The game is out on PSN in the US and Steam in both the US and Europe.

The only real problem here seems to be SCEE certification. I don’t see what a developer post is going to accomplish, he has nothing to apologize for. I do admire the subtle shift of blame from SCEE to the developer by promising that he’s going to comment on this nonsense. As if he’s going to be able to speak freely about this.

It’s just an online persona but it has several meanings. I served within the Royal Air Force for 6 1/2 years & grew up within a military orientated family background, as my father was an Officer and flew Nimrod Surveillance aircraft & served over 25 years!

If you take a look at this website: http://www.catkillers.org/photopage1.htm you will notice that Catkiller was an old surveillance aircraft in many guises. It also has a meaning of an inside joke from other recruits when I served. It’s a long story but within a week I nearly killed roughly 6 cats by accident as if I attracted them somehow & one ran into the side of my car lol! When something happens like that you get stuck with a nickname. I have used it for over 9 years now so if I ever lose contact with some people at least they’ll recognise the name. I understand some people would automatically perceive the name as nasty & horrible but not with the hidden meaning that it is intended for. People are too quick to judge people….human instincts really but as if someone who actually killed cats would be happy to use it as a surname?? LOL I hope you understand some of it now?

ye what 251 said no onder people are moaning at sony for retro city rampage its gonna fill the gap till gtaV we want answers why it was delayed and i think if its delayed till december it should be made free for everyone

RCR free for everyone….never going to happen. If anything the only thing I can forsee happening would be a PLUS discount but again I don’t think that will happen either. The Developer has already stated on numerous other sites that he didn’t realise the huge task to release it within the EU. The US doesn’t have to take other languages or laws & legislations into effect when releasing something, that’s why most of the time it’s released earlier. there are many factors to consider that we would never comprehend.

It has also been mentioned several times within our Blog that the Developer would make a blog post explaining the reason for the delay & to announce the release date sometime within November so we have to be patient.

The thing is i wouldn’t be this angry, IF i could rebuy them and download them again, but that’s a no go. or are there some way to “reset” the things you buy? cause with this “restriction” on only have it on 2 systems/ 1 system and my other games i bought won’t be able to get them again EVER if this systems goes dead on me. yeah, that’s frekkin fun!!

I have Midway Arcade Origins, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Doom 3 BFG Edition, Medal Of Honor: Warfighter & countless other titles to eventually work my way through within the next 5 years lol! Getting Far Cry 3 next!

@ MordecaiHunter if you look on the american store most of the themes have trailer or slideshow and as most come out there first i would look on there i know thats a fact because i tend to get the vampire themes that come out and i look on there first.

Right guys n girls,I’m in London SCEE HQ and tied up Jawad and the Sony employees and singing YMCA at the top of my voice doing the singstar poses,Jawad not crying yet but I think he’s giving in,jaward take away the singstar icon from my XMB or your ears get another blast of YMCA.

@SneakCore, I’ve just started getting into the Deathsp.ank games myself, don’t know about the unlock for Thongs Of Virtue but if you just put in ‘Baconing’ on the search it should bring that one up, it did for me the other day anyway. See what you mean about having to put the dot in too!!
@de3bs0, I don’t actually have a problem with the icon itself, I’ve pretty much stopped noticing it to be honest. I AM worried though that I’ll get drunk one night and end up blowing loads of money on it and waking the kids with one of my expert renditions of some 80s classics

Jawad I need an answer for something I’m concerned about though it might seem petty; people have been saying that tomba! is having the same problem as alundra is having as well (the slowed down music and sound effects, stuff like that), when the said problems are fixed, do we like, download the fixed versions for free, or do we have to purchase them?

Not sure if this is a bug,but I can DL the Vita version of PSASBR now without funds being taken.Same goes with the costume key and online pass.
I don’t know how PSV handles activation,so it could be normal.If I had PSV i’d test and cancel pre order to see if it was playable.

Hi jawad, do you have any update on resident evil 2 for vita? Like others have said, it was pulled because 1 person didn’t know how to change discs lol. Il even give you 10p to use the phone to give the store people a ring and ask when they are putting it back on. If its not going to be put back on please could you advise where I stand in regards to a credit. Thanks

I have a request, change the store back to how it used to be. The old store was soo much easier to use and had nowhere near as many problems as the new one has.

You know, I think they made the store harder to navigate so you’d HAVE to come here to find everything that was released.

The Sleeping Dogs ‘Nightmare in North Point” DLC is displaying two different prices, on the add-ons page its listed as £3.19, yet when you go into it, its then listed at £4.49

i hope farcry 3 and gta V will be longer then assasins creed 3 that i finished in about a week lol £50 wasted on a short game the last assasins creed was way longer

as long as gta5 has a huge map and loads of missions and stuff todo il be happy 1st thing im gonna do in gta5 is nick a train and cause a train crash

@251,are you using a new account on your slim,if you are then make a new user go to sign up for psn and existing user type in your email and password from your old ps3 and bingo all the stuff you downloaded will be in your my doenloads and all songs you downloaded from singstar you’ll be able to download again,hope this helps and get back to me if it works or not,or you could do the same above but deactivate your old ps3 account and swap back to your new one to re download all singstar songs.

another broken item on the store, please fix it!!!

Sonic and sega all stars transformed demo. you can add it to the cart, but then afterwards, the 3 bars cycle and then error has occurred appears.

I have tried several times , why can’t anything work on this service. especially when you have plus subscriptions bringing in more money.

really angers me , but in the end of they day you hurt yourselves more cause its putting me off spending my money on your products.

i can see my ps3 being solely used as my bluray player of being sold if this carry’s on.

this is my time to relax and not to get stressed and annoyed by a poor service.

The store is to slow and to many errors ! fix it and do your jobs properly and then maybe you wouldn’t have customers complaining on the blog space !

i say this on behalf everyone here BRING BACK THE OLD PLAYSTATION STORE the new one is more broke then a bank with no money.

so to recap ps3 game delays – games not showing up in the store – ps store refusing to load and showing a fake under maintenance message

this is not GOOD ENOUGH if they cant fix the ps3 store the playstation 4 will fail bigtime

I’m on the store now finally, but it’s still not working i’m not getting the same error as you.

My shopping cart wont work and all it says is error occurred, no hint to what the error is mind you. lol

The longer they take to fix the more the shopfront is loosing impulse buys lol

it’s a tad frustrating when you have something you can’t fully use and for the past few weeks iv’e notice this seems to be a trend now.

13 days and the Wii U can’t take up my time. i’ll wait for the last of us and tomb raider before i use it for gaming
