For weeks now, members of GTplanet have been speculating about the mysterious discovery of a camouflaged Corvette C7 appearing on the game’s screen saver session.
Well the rumours are true – officially announced today at the LA Auto Show, Chevrolet and Polyphony Digital have been working very closely for months in developing an exclusive first-hand driving experience by offering a camouflaged Corvette C7 Test Prototype in Gran Turismo 5. The DLC is now available for free through the PlayStation Store.
With spy photos valued at an estimated $100,000, Chevrolet has gone to extreme measures to disguise the test car. In fact, a designated Corvette design team was tasked with developing custom camouflage to conceal the new design elements.
The concealed test prototype continues to undergo extensive performance and durability testing in preparation for final production. Millions of hours will be accumulated through thousands of rigorous performance trials before the car is released later in 2013.
Until now, only a handful of the most skilled drivers on the Corvette team have been authorised to push the test prototype to the limits on the most challenging tracks in the world, including the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife- one of the core testing grounds for C7′s driving dynamics.

Yes I found it, no I didn’t.
It was on the release list but then it disappear (ofcourse without an explanation). So I guess we’ll get is in a month or 2.

first off i wanna say i love gran turismo, always have and always will, i own all the gt games including tourist trophy. but i have to say i’ve been less then impressed with the DLC for GT5, where are the new tracks? yeah we got a few, but there’s so many more that have been in previous games that would be awesome to have in GT5. and a whole blog post for 1 car? really? come on guys, we have the money if you have the right DLC

Hmmm, would be nice if we could actually download it.
Any chance the pre-order Stealth cars (and Chromeline for that matter) will ever make it onto the store? Its been two years since GT5 released so surely they should be made available now to those who couldn’t afford/justify or missed Signature Edition

there is a problem with the gt5 dlc. as ive got it but was empty when it wanted to download. it isnt in servics list eather.
so i think the dlc is broken

Hello everybody,
I can confirm that the DLC is now available on our PS Store.
If you have “purchased” it in the past few hours, in order to download it please go to [Account Manager] from the XMB, then [Download List] and proceed to download it from there.
The download might have a corrupted image associated to it but this won’t have any effect on your file.
Thank you once again for your patience, and I hope you can enjoy the C7 now (finally!)

+ Is it just me? or is it harder to find things on the New PSN Store? 
I went to ‘Latest PS3 Add-Ons’ & nothing on the main 3 pages(so if i never so this i would of not known it existed really) then you have to scroll 3 pages right & go to ‘All Latest Add-Ons’ then press ‘Sort’ then select – ‘Release date: Newest first’(if not you will waste even more time looking for it) 
then click on ‘Download’ then etc etc…anyway thanks ‘PD’ for the New Car
