We haven’t announced anything at present, but I’m sure you’ll be able to get them at some point, yes.

@gabbre89: I was wondering about Castlevania: Symphony of the night as well (via Eurogamer)! So a while ago, I looked at the official News bulletins from the Konami Europe website and found this little snippet:
“11.10.2012
Symphony of the Night delayed on return to PlayStation(R)Network
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed a delay to its resurrected PSone classic, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, for PlayStation(R)Network.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the game will now appear towards the end of the year. Symphony of the Night was the first Castlevania to offer an open-world level design and RPG elements, and KONAMI will issue details as to when European Castlevania fans can lay hands upon Alucard again very soon…”
So, it’s delayed but should appear towards the end of the year.

@Lengendaryboss: Hi! You wrote: “@1 are we still complaining about that singstar icon, yes it is annoying and intrusive, but it does not affect anything. But i would like the option to remove/Move it Fred.”
Actually, the SingStar icon does affect something: my personal games XMB. With all due respect to SingStar, this product does not mesh with my taste in video games at all. I have abolutely zero motivation to purchase this product in any way, shape or form and as such, the icon has no logical reason whatsoever to be so prominently present in my games XMB.
I am glad that you also feel the icon is annoying and intrusive as well, and that you also want a move/delete option. There have been several weeks of radio silence on the matter, so I am eager to hear – SCEE willing, of course – a status update. Can’t hurt to ask, right?

Hey Fred how are you doing hope your having a nice weekend
Anyway my question is that there are rumours saying that Next generation console will be the last saying cloud gaming will take over, I know for a fact that SCE will not stop the playstation brand. As a big playstation gamer, I feel the best is yet to come other companies like Microsoft and nintendo will lightly give up because sony are miles ahead in the game than they are. With the purchase of Gaikai and playstation mobile being announced, sony could take gaming to me levels in about 10 years time, sony vaio pc and laptops could become playstation certified, pc gamers could be tempted to move to playstation platform. Anyway Fred give me your thoughts the best is yet to come.

@declan__watson
dont get too caught up with internet rumors becauise most of them are just that rumors.
most of these industry analysts toss out predictions like mad and eventually some are bound to stick, consumers dictate products by there buying habits and consumers have shown that they still would rather have physical media over digital and cloud gaming(onlive for example is a great idea but it does not make money).
sony dipped there toe’s in the water with digital only console with the pspgo and no one will deny that that failed for multiple reasons, pricing of titles, availability of titles and lack of physical media.
this is why the vita is not 100% digital as consumers did not want it.
sony will also stay in the console market as long as they make money from it, when there is no money to be made then they will stop.

A little off topic but since somebody mentioned the PS Allstars game i thought i would share an opinion on it. Personally, i have not played it or bought it and don’t intend to to be honest. Why ? Well from the titbits of info i’ve read about dlc characters and more potentially being released later it makes me think that Sony have missed the point on what is actually fun about these kind of homage games.
My son was a massive fan of Smash Brothers and played it a shedload. His motivation for playing it was all the unlockable characters and extras. Now i don’t know whether PS Allstars has the same features but the fact that the are bringing dlc’s characters makes me think that unlockables will be very few in number which takes away the motivation to play. Agree or not ?

Hi Fred,
Major question: Do you know anything about (or could you look up please) the standard checks for the 1.02 patch Assassin’s creed 3: Liberation for the EU. Ubisoft have stated that they have released the patch to Sony, the US currently have it so it seems we in the EU are still waiting for it. The US version was released last week, so could we be looking at this week?
As you may be aware the patch is pretty crucial, so a heads up would be appreciated

GTA San Andreas has be confirmed for the drop on US PSN this week, so it’s highly possible!
Another tip is that the new Yakuza 5 demo is out on the Japanese store – it seems a big step up from the previous games graphically and the combat is slicker. Can’t wait for it to be localised!
Anyway, like a few posters have already commented, please give us an option to rid ourselves of the singstar monstrosity from our XMBs. Don’t own a usb microphone and don’t intend to ever buy one. steal one or get one left in a will – so please give me the option to remove the download shortcut and beastly wallpaper from MY xmb. Thanks. Surely after enduring those ridiculous grins for the last month or two is punishment enough for me subscribing to PSN+ and paying out hundreds of pounds on PS3 games. Really, surely by now Sony would have realised that anyone who would have taken advantage of singstar on the xmb will have already done so.
Also, Retro City Rampage wouldn’t go a miss either, as for CS: Go well personally I’m not too fussed but well it is a bit of a joke.

every extra week with the singstar icon on my consoles is one week full of disappointment for me, why are you doing this to us ?
at this point if sony would offer me to delete the singstar icon from my console under the condition that i would have to spend 50 EUR on the singstar store , i would do that just to get rid of it

@ Hayzink
Indeed!
Hopefully we can finally sort something out soon with regards to Harmony Of Despair & the annoying “Boned” trophy!
Black Ops 2 has surprised me in many ways. I’m actually enjoying this release, glitches aside! When there is no apparent lag & you have a night with at least five of your friends, it’s a right laugh! I tried the Aftermath Expansion for Battlefield 3 for roughly 2 hours but haven’t got back into it since I bought Black Ops 2. It’s on offer for £32.99 @ GAME today too!
Take Care
