hi Fred Dutton, can i ask you why the batman arkham city bundle has gone from £7.99 before the store update to £11.99 after todays store update, and if you buy it with psplus the 3 packs come to 12.98, so you are paying more to buy with plus, than you would just normal or if you were lucky to buy it before the update, you know thats against the law right anyway just letting you know before you end up on watchdog or something or in court with trading standards

When are we finally going to get a European store release for Legend of Dragoon? God damn it, it’s been 7 months and still no word. How hard can it be?

So… can we have some input on the missing AC3 DLC please?

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:15 pm by Scubafinch
I picked up the base game of Uncharted: Fight for Fortune for AU$6.95 last week. The DLC was unavailable at that time.
Then in this weeks update I find each DLC at $4.95 and a new bundle for $14.45! A couple of bucks is not a vast difference in total cost, but it would have been nice to have had the option of the bundle last week (or delay the release). I feel penalised that I purchased the game in it’s first week!

I do not think Castlevania is PSVita compatible yet because the Store on the PS3 told me that Vita version isn’t even there nor on Vita’s store.
Oh and the scroll side section on the Vita store at the top is glitched. Someone fix that.
@Swedish users:
Is Castlevania: SoTN not on there for you guys because it’s on there for me. It should be on there.

For those wondering. EVERY PSOne game works on the Vita. Just some can’t be downloaded using the Vita itself.
If you own a PS3, download it on that and then transfer over the INSTALL BUBBLE, NOT the installed game itself.
Symphony of the Night works a charm.

Castlevania SOTN!! Wow thanks so much for finally getting it to the EU store I’ve been waiting for a long time but happy the day has arrived. Keep up the great work!
p.s. any chance ‘Parappa the Rapper” and “Heart of Darkness” will come to PSone classics?
208
Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:18 pm by gabbre89
SOTN can’t be transfered from PS3 to PSVita. Please fix that Sony, or ask Konami to

Why in hell is there a discount on Catwoman Bundle Pack and nothing on Harley Quinn’s Revenge? Catwoman was free for PS+ susbscribers just days ago.. Also, only 20% on the rest of DLC?! It’s better than nothing but still..

Castlevania SOTN, I thought yipeee. Then the disappointment – PS3 or PSP.
Please please we need this game on Vita.
And…
I bought Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3 the day they appeared on the store.
Still there’s no Resi 2 for Vita.
My favourite games!
Please see if we can do something about these!
…and I assume SCEE wouldn’t want people downloading them and playing them on emulators out of desperation, now would they?
You know it makes sense
211
Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:24 pm by ianmullinger
…and I did pay for Resi2 thinking it was Vita-friendly

I don’t know why you deleted my post. If you found it somehow offensive, i wrote it in same style your support answering to our complaints about Singstar icon. Maybe it’s time to think about it.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:25 pm by spagetti69
Unfortunate about Castlevania not being vita compatible.
Is the US version compatible?
Anyway I wouldn’t hold your breath here vita owners, they have yet to rectify the Resi2 situation. Although last week there was a response about them looking into resident evil.
Thanks to those who have tried it. Another Classic unavailable to the Vita. Shame that.

Great update. PSOne Classics lacked Spyro series. Now, where’s Chrono Cross import?

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:31 pm by sadlam79
The Resident Evil 2/Vita situation is baffling. It works perfectly fine but for some reason it was removed. If there was an actual problem, how long does it take to actually fix?
As far as I know, it was just someone who didn’t know how to change the “disc”.
As for Castlevania and loads of other PS1 games that have been released since the initial PS1/Vita compatibility that aren’t Vita compatibile, just seems to be either laziness or incompetence to me.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:34 pm by Agozer
For those still wondering, the web store does work with Firefox.
Also, what the hell is up with this week’s DOA5 DLC update. Is it the same pack that has been up for 5 or so week, or are the colors just switched? Where is the Round 5 bundle that should have been here two weeks ago?
217
Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:35 pm by DaisukeAndo
Resident Evil 2 DOES work on Vita, I can play it no problems. You just can’t download it using the Vita itself.
Same goes for Castlevania.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:36 pm by Zimor
@DaisukeAndo Hello, Mr. Daisuke, but I’m afraid not. Castlevania SotN doesn’t show at the Vita Content Maganer (yes, the install bubble is on my PS3…)
219
Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:39 pm by DaisukeAndo
@Zimor. That’s odd. Worked fine for me. I’ve never had a problem with getting any PSOne games on my Vita :/.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:40 pm by GenocideHeart
So, when is the SingStar spam going to be removed from my XMB? I haven’t bought anything for it, in no small part because I AM DEAF and having that grotesque thing on my PS3 is a personal insult in my eyes, so you might as well give up. You aren’t convincing anyone who hasn’t bought stuff already to buy stuff.
With that said, at least there’s Spyro. Sigh…

for GTA San Andreas no trophies = no sale.
ill stick with the ps2 version like every other sane user.

@DaisukeAndo Me neither, and that’s why it sounds pretty odd…

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 6:42 pm by zalwelgoedgaan
So it seems that Um Jammer Lammy does not have the sound bug in the PS3 version and works fine; only the PSP version is malfunctioning. I’d rather play it on my PSP, but eh :/

Yo Fred Claus. Yeah that’s a new name for ya
Your Santa brother at this time of the year!
lol
Few questions
1) When is the last post we get before your off to the North pole for Christmas?
2) When do they return after Christmas?
3) Did you say to someone we get the next PS+ update for January next week? How about a few hints?
I’ve been very good this year so put in good word to the big man for me. I would like 3 games under my tree on Christmas morning. (Dishonoured, Ratchet and clank Q-Force and Dragon ball z budokai hd collection):D

WOW! You guys actually made a Spyro Trilogy, with a great price! That’s exactly what I wanted!
I’m going to download that ASAP

One issue i noticed with the Spyro Trilogy is that you can’t transfer it from the PS3.

@227
That’s what I meant. The store _DOES_ work with Firefox. People should disable AdBlock if they’re using it, though. Don’t know what the deal is with the store not working in IE8 or 9.

I have been having problems going into the ps store every time i go into it it says ” an error has occoured with the application, to continue press the PS button to close the application after the application closes, you can select it and launch the app again” every time i do this it just says the same

Still in total awe the spyro’s are finally here. And there was even a trilogy pack! I was worried I may not be able to afford them all, but the trilogy pack made me jump for joy! Brilliant games, I’ll be playing these for a while!
Awesome job SCEE!

dgnfly 134 =
@fred
psvita compatiblility is something you guys have 2 do not the publishers. like monkeypaw games said if ya want tomba psvita compatible you’ll have 2 ask at SCEE.
so another year with a army off missing cotent.
No CS:GO with no explanation why if valve cancelled it just say so.
No retro cirty rampage and with no release date while jawad said they would get a blog soon with their release date.
No youtube app for europe not suprised you guys coulden’t even get the vidstore 2 other countries back in 2009.
No ragnarok odyssey and dokuro cause off your horribly slow Q&A
cause gungho entertainment alrdy said it’s at sony.
horrible vita prices uncharted and resistance were 26 bucks with a starting price off 25 while we have 2 pay 50.
i wouldl ike 2 say good update but those ps1 games have been on U.S store for 5 years i fear i’ll be dead before you release any new one’s U.S alrdy has.
SCEE will be the end off sony such a horrible service’s whatever happend with we listen and we are improving the store you said 3 months ago improvements would come in 2 months i don’t see any i only see more missing content.
jep jep jep , totaly same opinion

@DiasukeAndo. Stop with your nonsense about every PSone game working.
Previous Resident Evil 2 did work until it was pulled. Even Neogaf are getting sucked in with your spouting.
For anyone wondering SOTN does not work on Vita. I’ve tried PS3 uninstalled Bubble to Vita and no joy. Lets put this to bed now.
Cheers.

Why is the Assassins Creed 3 DLC unavailable? Wasn’t it released for the season pass buyers last week? And I have to ask again about the Hitman Absolution dlc; will we get a bundle like the US store?

@babaoriley3: No significant differences.
The Spyro games are slow and laggy at certain points though, plz fix.

@spagetti69, thank you for the clarity about SotN.
@Sony, shame on you for your usual shambolic service. You delay the game for sooooooooo long, and then when it does come out it’s not even supported on your newest, struggling hardware?
It beggars belief, quite frankly.

Same question another week. When is resident evil 2 going to be available on my vita,I bought it when it was advertised as available through my ps3 but when I then went to my vita is wasn’t.I dont want to play it on ps3 because I bought it (at 7.99 may I add) specifically for vita, and now cannot get a clear answer when it will be back or advice on a refund. It’s been months and really not acceptble

I still can’t believe that Castlevania SOTN isn’t Vita compatible… it is mind-bogglingly stupid given the time it has taken to show up on the EU store. Good thing I didn’t rush to buy it. I send my thanks to those who took the step to test it, sorry it didn’t work.
The US version transfers to Vita from PS3, so it is inexcusable that we get shafted. I could easily live with a PS3 to Vita bubble transfer, but we don’t even get that.
We don’t have Dracula X Chronicles either… SCEE and Konami suck! That’s really the nicest way I can put it now. You don’t even try, do you?
(And where’s Ultimate Ghosts’n Goblins, eh SCEE and Capcpom?)

Singstar still not forgotten… It feels a bit stupid to remind you about this, but that icon still pops up as first thing when I turn my PS3 on, and… …
Oh, btw – can we get PS+ blog updates back under “PS Store Games” section, it was easier when they were found there. Otherwise Chris is doing great job, cheers.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 8:49 pm by geektopia
I know it’s a first world problem by I’d like to add my voice to the screaming masses who want the Singstar spam gone.
Secondly, and more importantly, your response ‘SotN on Vita – that’s probably a question for Konami’ is totally inadequate. In a networked system, I can’t see how it’s a customer’s job to contact third party game developers directly… it’s yours surely. Isn’t that what you do? This blog has degenerated into seemingly endless observations about the PSN’s shortfalls leading to sporadic responses amounting to, at best, ‘I’ll look into that’ and at worst ‘That’s a question for somebody else.’

Good and bad update…
What’s with UnderDefeat HD still showing at 29.99 not 15.99
Great Spyro Trilogy price but the talk of 7gb file size is confusing, can somebody tell me if you can buy the trilogy but download each title individually?
Would have loved to get Cadtlevania SoTN even at that price but how on earth can we wait 5.5 years for it to come out then the Vita comparability is messed up!!!!???
Really pleased with Big Sky Infinity though it looks a great plus game.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 9:30 pm by Huono_peleis
To anyone thinking of buying Big Sky Infinite: think again! It’s repetitive, flawed, bugged and completely useless tech-demo. Add someones dad doing the narrators voice shouting: “You’re spoon!” every 5 seconds and you have something equivalent to E.T, the game they buried to Nevada desert.
Luckily, I didn’t have to pay for this crap. Except the 60 minutes of my precious life.
