Jesus Christ… Why does San Andreas have a 50% price mark up over every other PS1/2 classic on the store? For that price range it’s unacceptable for there to be no HD upscaling and trophy support included.
That’s a genuine insult to customers.

Sony Europe whats wrong with you? We wait years for Castlevania: SotN and then its not compatible with the Vita while the US version is?
This really blows my mind.

HELLO JAWAD, FRED, CAPCOM, EVERYBODY ON THIS FORUM KNOWS RESIDENT EVIL 2 WORKS. ARE YOU GUYS REALLY THIS DUMB? GIVE US THE GAME THAT WE PAID FOR!!!! PEOPLE WHO WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE IT ON THEIR VITA ALL SAY IT WORKS. I AM REALLY GETTING SICK OF THIS. PUT THE GAME BACK IN THE STORE!!!!!

What I find amusing is when you get the reply “I’ll look into that” you never hear back until someone else posts the query again…and then its usually another “I’ll look into that”..

Typical Sony [DELETED].
Atleast let us transfer the PSOne games over to our vitas from ps3 with a warning that it might not work perfectly (it will though).
I can see a reason for not letting people download directly from the Vita, but to block transers from the ps3… that will just give you a very bad reputation and less sales.
I for one have not and will not buy SOTN until this is solved, and I know many others will do the same..
Dont let Sony fool you.

I wish RockStar would just make a HD Collection of all the GTA games (3, VC, SA, LCS, VCS) it would sell like hotcakes.

£11.99 for GTA San Andreas is a joke especially when Rockstar took the easy way out. I can understand if it was £11.99 for a HD port but not as a PS2 classic.
I’d love to see a HD port for Vice City and San Andreas I don’t know why Rockstar/Take-Two Interactive hasn’t done this since people would buy it especially me if it was a disc copy.

Hello!
Question to Admins.
Do we receive Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition like USA does?

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 10:12 pm by FBZ1501
Just tweeted Konami UK and they are aware they CSoTN isn’t working on the Vita and said they are going to look into it tomorrow.
So slightly positive but also pretty poor, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I suppose a few more tweets to they wouldn’t hurt either as you’d think they would have known a bit more about the issue?

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 10:14 pm by Shadowdragoon
Do wonder if I get a response anytime..
Cant you guys play nice whis NIS and get the games and DLC here? or atleast let UK accounts gift those games to us in the not avavible countries?
Is the NIS not getting to release DLC in Scandinavia still secret?
Still not seeing Disgaea 3 on the Vita..
Or is it that the SCEE is stupid enough to demand native language descriptions on dlc when most countries in EU have a rather good grasp of english.
(Pretty sure its been close to confirmed that this is the issue)
Next point, when will the following PSP games be avavible on the Store? The ones whit (VITA) is not vita compatible. Sideloading thru PS3 do not make a game vita compatible in this list.
Final Fantasy Crisis Core
Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone Complex
Invizimals
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleap
PoPoLoCrois
Tales of Eternia
Tales of the World Radiant Mythology
Thrillville
Valkyria Chronicles 2 (Not Vita Compatible)
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth

Is GTA San Andreas from the store compatible with all PS3 versions?
265
Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 10:28 pm by solarwind12
@263.
did you mean regions ?. as if so then it should be, ie buy off US psn and it will work on All your ps3 accounts on same ps3. If you didn’t mean that then am not sure i understand question.

@ Shadowdragoon
I can understand you wanting cross region gifting, but wouldn’t that only work for games. i mean i heard every countries discs aren’t allways compatible with a different ones dlc content, even avatars sent from US wouldn’t work, something about the servers not recognising a foriegn code, but if theres a workaround then i hope it happens, and i also wish the mods would reply to you as well.

Did I read this correctly?? GTA:SA!! Hell yeah! About time we got it. Too bad not a HD remake though, still! Thank you, will be getting that and Big Sky Infinity (well that one is free so yeah).
Still waiting for Retro City Rampage guys, come on, America got it ages ago and we have not seen it yet. I’m not going to buy it if i have wait too much longer, this is getting beyond a joke. But besides that, not a bad update guys

@Shadowdragoon I have (the fantastic) Valkyria Chronicles 2 working on my Vita, transferred across from my PS3.
Does this not work anymore (I did it when I got my Vita at launch)?
Or did you mean you want to be able to buy and download on the Vita (understandable if you don’t have a PS3)?
272
Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 11:28 pm by NightRanma
I guess it’s good that we finally got some PSOne games that America has had for ages. Any word on when they’ll be playable on Vita?
Actually, is there any word when I might get to play Tomba 1& 2 on Vita? It’s been AGES, guys (at least for the first game it has). =\

Bring the WRC 3 free DLC tracks for the PS VITA to the greek store.
After having asked about this 3 times to be let know that you guys in the blog have no idea of the existence of this DLC in the store, I found it in the UK store. But due to SONY’s limitations I can’t transfer it to my Vita.
I paid for this game just like any other consumer from the UK and I am entitled to the DLC as well.
What sort of discrimination is this? Paying customers from the UK are more important than paying customers from smaller countries because their market is insignificant to SONY?
Is this how you treat your customers?

Why is Spyro 2 being adverised everywhere as Gateway to Glimmer, even once installed but when you start it up it is Ripto’s Rage?

@TheEternalGamer
chris told people in the comments of the 12 deals post that you guys are getting lego batman 1 the psp title.

Posted on 12 December, 2012 at 11:41 pm by hayzink
@BetItAllOnBlack
gateway to glimmer is the eu title and how it is known on the store but as its the usa title that downloads its actually called ripto’s rage as it was in the usa.
its the same game just a different name

I was wondering: any news on fighting games on Instant Game Collection here in Europe??
USA has got both KOF and SSFIV AE…
278
Posted on 13 December, 2012 at 1:35 am by Golwar
@Q-tro
We already had more than enough fighting games too. Be it Virtua Fighter 5 or Brawler/Fighting games as The Simpsons, Double Dragon Neon, Scott Pilgrim etc.
RPGs, Strategy, Sims and Jump’n'Runs are underrepresented, not fighting games.

There is nearly no good ps2 games in the ps2 classics section, you should add “Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex”

I have a request. I am wondering if you can some how get Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 3 on the PSN store for EU. It was never released in EU but it was in AUS as pal. Its rare to find as a disk but if you could do the same as you did to spyro or just get the pal version on the store that would be great. I would love to finaly play it.

Oh man! OH MAN!
Not only are the Spyro games finally released but there’s also a bundle of all three for the price of two. Then there’s the long awaited Symphony of the Night and it’s actually the PAL version for a change. And then GTA: San Andreas, which is THE PS2 Classic. But what did You mean by that sentence “Following on from the hugely successful GTAIII and GTA Vice City comes GTA San Andreas”? Vice City hasn’t been released as a PS2 Classic yet. It sure as hell should be but it hasn’t.

Big Sky infinity won’t let me download the PS3 version – I am a plus member, downloaded for Vita first and now if I try to download the PS3 version it shows the correct version until the download screen, then changes it to the Vita version. Any way around this?
288
Posted on 13 December, 2012 at 9:04 am by awkward_ghost
@Shadowdragoon Fair enough, I just misunderstood. For what it’s worth, I agree completely!
The way Sony are treating the Vita it’s almost like they don’t actually want it to succeed sometimes… Stop making life hard for your loyal and paying customers Sony!

Think this is more a question for Fred than anyone else to be honest.
What are the chances of the blog properly detailing that content is missing and why? Take Dishonoured for example, Bethesda clearly missed the submission deadline for Europe, it can’t be anything more serious if the release date of next week is set in stone, “problem on their end” is just code to cover their rather stupid mistake.
I can’t help but think that if SCEE didn’t protect every developer and publisher that messes something up there’d be nobody blaming SCEE for things outside of their control and there’d be an incentive for devs to get it right first time. 3 out of the five Walking Dead episodes were delayed because TellTale didn’t hit submission deadlines or left certification failure bugs in the game, they were protected by SCEE’s vow of silence throughout. The announced global release date for CS:GO was nearly four months ago and Valve are still being protected. Perhaps if these screw ups were detailed here developers and publishers would pay the due diligence required to make sure they get their content out in all planned territories on their planned dates.
Just a thought.

The only reason I can think of why Castlevania SOTN is not available in Sweden, but in the rest of Europe is because the PSN Store is a piece of crap.

Thanks for finally getting the Spyros and Symphony of the Night on the store! Picked up both. I am having some pretty serious slowdown with at least Spyro 2, haven’t played the others yet so I’m not sure about them. Will there be fixed versions available, like you did for Tombi and Alundra?
Also, where’s the Metal Gear Rising demo? PS Access keeps saying Nov 30th o_o
