Good afternoon everyone. Headlining this week’s update, Dead Space 3 brings Isaac Clarke and merciless soldier John Carver on a journey across space to discover the source of the Necromorph outbreak. Crash-landed on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis, Isaac must comb the harsh environment for raw materials and scavenged parts.
Play together with a friend or alone as Isaac Clarke using the seamless new drop in, drop out co-op functionality. Each mode offers unique story elements and gameplay.
When he’s not planning his next heist or tracking criminals across time, Sly Cooper likes to hang out with his pals in Bentley’s arcade. As well as being a gadget guru and master hacker, trusty sidekick Bentley is also a whizz at designing videogames – and you can try your hand at three of his creations with Bentley’s Hackpack.

Good advice 2: before offering a game that isn’t available in somer regions think of replacement for this regions BEFORE and not AFTER you are offering the game.
^^ agree with the german person

What’s up with Alien Breed? There are now multiple versions with strange price constructions.
Alien Breed trilogy E3,59 (PS3)
Alien Breed E6,39 (Vita or PS3)
So, the trilogy is cheaper than the single first episode? Is this stuff cross-buy?

Is there any update about LittleBigPlanet Costumes for PlayStation Vita?
It seems that Gurlukovich Soldier costume (from the Metal Gear Solid Level Kit) and also the 6 costumes from the Move Pack have still not been updated on the PlayStation Store nor in-game store.

Oh wait, I see.
There’s a “normal” version, a “pro” version, and then an upgrade from normal to pro.
I’ve no idea what’s extra in the pro version, so guess I’ll just be getting the standard one.
They get enough money from me anyway
I get them on PSN, iOS, and I’ll probably get them all on Steam soon, too.

Rofl. Oh god, I remember too well how Chris Howe and the german blog team confirmed several times that Sleeping Dogs would be available to us Germans too. And one week later: nada!
What a *beep* surprise! I can’t grasp the incompetence of SCEE. This is simply ridiculous that you guys can’t gather the simplest facts.
Besides that Sleeping Dogs isn’t on the index with its cut version, so I really can’t see a reason why this game can’t be shared with us in that version. It’s sold in any store. And I dare you to call it “A publisher decision”.
Oh and just in case that you can’t guess, if we should get another hilarious “replacement” as previously the case with PSP Lego Batman or Gotham City Imposters, you can consider this a casus belli which I would gladly accept as such.
If SCEE feels fine about constantly ignoring our justified claims, why should we care any longer about a good relationship either?

All EA games on PSN are overpriced nothing new here but the most beautifull fact about Dead Space 3 is that you pay not only 70€ for game itself but can buy additional 10 day one DLCs for 40€. So it’s already 110€ all together. You better forget collector editions because in the future you gonna pay all that money just for regular game and a stuff which supose to be in a disc already. Great strategy here EA lol.
BTW can we expect to get Uncharted 3 on PSN?

for people wanting the YouTube app, just create another offline profile on your PS3 and view the PS store but put United States as the store you want to view, back out of the store then you will see the YouTube app to download under TV services after a few mins, if not log out and then back in and check under TV services again

How the heck do you justify £60 for a digital copy if a game. Sony u r a complete and utter disgrace for allowing this to happen. I really do wish you would price these properly. Unreal.

PS Home Arcade Player for Vita is not listed. It’s coming today, right?
I’ll try the Ragnarok Odyssey demo, I hope it’s available here, because the available countries are not listed here either.
On another note, I tried the Music Unlimited app for Vita, but it doesn’t let me use it because I’m on a subaccount (I was under 18 in 2007). I’ve spent hundreds of € on the PS Store and I have no plans to lose all my purchased content; Vitas only let you use one account anyway. I know turning subaccounts into master accounts it’s not possible, but at least they could be permitted to purchase subscriptions.

33% difference (minimum,40% in some cases) in price between DS3 digital and physical copies, amongst other games too. Im not having a dig, but for someone who has worked in business and retail for many years, this just does not make any sense. It cant even be classed as greed, because at 59.99, they will not make anywhere near as close in profit as to to what they’d make with a digital price of 39.99. More people would buy. Its just very very poor business. Makes no sense.

Hey Jawad and Fred, I’d just like to thank you and your team for supporting vita owners for the past few weeks. Things were kinda bad between November-Early January but now you pretty much delivered on most requests.
Even though I was hoping for a better sale and Dokuro is still not refunded, I still bought A-men, Ridge Racer and Touch My Katamari out of the list. Also hopefully Dokuro will make its way before or around Friday.

You guys do know that you promised Sleeping Dogs for Germany last week, right? This is kind of a false advertising and since you’ve also promised that Germany will always be getting the same content as anyone else (comment made shortly before PS+ was launched, I have a screenshot of this), this is at least the second time you guys are doing this. Sony has not offered refunds to people affected nor have they given an __adequate__ replacement – something you also didn’t do when offering LEGO Batman for PSP. People who have bought PS+ just recently might have bought it on the promise of certain content being there.
A Credit Card refund will result in a ban so please give people the option to get a refund easily (something that doesn’t involve arguing with customer service for hours, which will not lead to anything at all anyways), work your things out and stop with the excuses. The last part is really important, people are sick of excuses. This is a service people are paying for and they deserve to get what they were promised. A “we’re working on something” is just not acceptable anymore.
72
Posted on 6 February, 2013 at 3:49 pm by Kuntay
Sony should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for treating their German customers like total crap..
seriously.. you advertised for one week that Sleeping Dogs will be available in Germany and now you pull this BS??
It’s bad enough that we have the crappy USK rating system that tells us we aren’t mature enough to play games like Mortal Kombat or uncut versions of many other games..
but to have Sony for the last 6 years not be able to figure out a reasonable system to allow us to download all 18+ games like on other services (Steam should be your role model) is absolutely not acceptable..
And then to make people in Germany buy PS Plus in anticipation of getting Sleeping Dogs (which until today is still advertised).. really crappy move..
you really don’t need good competition to lose customers.. you are your own worst enemy Sony

Still no Q-Force.
Delayed at launch. Now missing the new date and no actual info.

Just came to say this here in case you missed it in the vita sale post. You have no excuse for putting Lumines in the vita sale when it’s free to plus members in a couple weeks. You’re attempting to rip off people who aren’t aware it’s free in a couple weeks, and that is sickening quite frankly. For the love of god please respond to me and attempt to explain this.
Oh and “this deal is best for non plus members” isn’t a valid excuse with me. Not when YOU’RE ACTUALLY GIVING PLUS MEMBERS A DISCOUNT IN THIS SALE! That means you’re trying to get non plus as well as plus members to buy it now. You don’t even bother to put a message on the store under lumines that lets people know it’s free in a couple weeks. Completely unethical.
You do realise doing something like this makes it hard for me to believe you whenever you say something isn’t going to be free for plus members any time soon, right?

To add to my previous comment: I don’t have my PS3 with me so it doesn’t even apply to me but it angers me that SCEE does so many things right but messes up the same things over and over and over again. I really hope you guys will have ironed out things when I come back to Germany!

@ jens108 (post50).
Thats very forgiving attitude you have about Germany not getting Sleeping Dogs. I am not sure many of your countrymen would look at it in such a way though, true it isn’t scee’s fault the game isn’t allowed there, but i have to wonder at the fault of (yet again) scee letting down people, by not delivering what they’ve promised, stated they would. i really feel for German gamers who only have psn to supply them, as your rules seem very harsh. i thought the plus service itself was a workaround to that, but still, to leave it until update day to say your not able to have it is wrong, both professionally and emotionally, also, as has happened in past you may end up with a very substandard replacement. i believe the guys in Saudi are Still waiting for a replacement for RDR, which we got Months ago, i allways kept a eye out for the plus team to give them guys a real answer, but as far as i am aware they got neither a decent answer or a replacememt game. i hope both Germany and Saudi get fair treatment. and soon.

Just to explain this better for those of you that are enquiring about the Twilight packs for Pinball Arcade:
Custom Ball: Twilight Zone (£1.59/€1.99) – This is basically a skin for your ball with a spiral effect.
Add-On Pack 8 Pro: Twilight Zone (£6.49/€7.99) – This is the main table & operator Pro pack as explained below for a cheaper bundle than purchasing separately.
Pro Version Upgrade: Twilight Zone (£3.99/€4.99) – This gives you access to the table Operator’s Menu (allowing you to change many factory default settings), the ability to move the ball around the table at will, a mode that lets you move the camera around the table, and tips on playing the table fromIFPA pinball pros.
Table Pack 8: Twilight Zone (£3.99/€4.99) – this is the main table as usual.
Kind Regards

I have activated the Instant Games Collection & have bought Alien Breed (Original), Bentley’s Hack Pack & The Nightmare pack for Sleeping Dogs.
I can’t afford anything else until I gain employment, as I have just been made redundant as of next week.
I have a couple of interviews already though, so hopefully I can secure employment sooner rather than later and save most of my redundancy pay.
Take Care peeps!

To anyone confused, these:
Alien Breed Trilogy- 20% off
Alien Breed Impact – 20% off
Alien Breed 3: Descent – 20% off
Alien Breed 2: Assault – 20% off
Are the modern updates to the Alien Breed game series with, bizarrely, the complete trilogy priced the same as the individual parts.
This, however:
Alien Breed
Price: £6.49/€7.99
PEGI: 12
Availability: All
Is the original topdown view Amiga game, but with updated graphics/control options. It also has a PS+ discount available, which hasn’t been mentioned in the Store update.
*******************
QUESTION FOR JAWAD:
*******************
Is Alien Breed a cross-platform purchase? It features cross-platform play, but no mention if you have to buy it for both systems.

Hehe, lucky coincidence that neither Jawad or Chris “are in the house” to face what they caused.
But hey, at least we can be pretty sure that they’ll be busy with organizing the next spit into the face of us Germans.
@solarwind12
Jens isn’t forgiving, he is just stupid. There is a cut version of Sleeping Dogs, that is legally sold in Germany. The only real problem is probably that they don’t have a digital version of that game. And we aren’t worth to create such digital copy and offer that to use it seems, that’d be too much work. Why not give us another PSP game instead? Or a cheap PSN online game with a crippled amateur net code? That’s surely fair enough.
