Access episode 69: Metal Gear Rising! The Last of Us! Die Hard!

ACCESS - TV_small

He’s come a long way from the fop-haired lady boy who controversially crashed the Metal Gear Solid 2 party back in 2001, and now Raiden is starring in his very own game.

His meteoric rise in popularity probably has something to do with the fact he’s now a katana-wielding cyborg who can slice through tanks like they’re made of melon – something you’ll be seeing quite a lot of as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance stars as Game of the Week in Access TV episode 69 – available on YouTube today.

Also in the show, we take a trip to Los Angeles for a first hands-on with The Last of Us – the game that is shaping up to be the biggest PS3 exclusive of 2013. As well as getting to grips with a post-apocalyptic wasteland populated by fungal-eyed mutants, we chat with Game Director Bruce Straley about narrative and horror and how his beard has gotten massive.

Then we’re at the UK premiere of A Good Day to Die Hard, as community presenter Matt Downton reports from the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square and also rubs shoulders with the stars of the film. There’s the latest news in PlayStation Briefing (including a look at Skyrim’s Dragonborn DLC) plus a roundup of the best content on the PlayStation Store. Check out the episode in the link below.
