Earlier this week, we officially announced that Destiny would be shipping on PlayStation 3. Tonight, from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, we stood on a Sony Computer Entertainment stage for the very first time and shared a simple message with PlayStation fans around the world.
Destiny is being developed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with both versions available at Destiny’s launch. Even better, the PlayStation version of Destiny will feature exclusive in-game content, only available on PlayStation.
We’re thrilled to share this moment with you. It’s been a long time coming. We’re looking forward to sharing even more in the months ahead.

Cool; it looks like the first FPS I might actually get into playing properly.

I agree with above^, I’m not FPS fan, but this looks really hyped. It seems like there’s vast world to explore, a lot of RPG elements(not sure yet how much with customization, both character and battle).. It just looks epic, though it’s all the hype yet and very little known real facts what the actual gameplay is like. Still very excited!

It looks very interesting this game but seeing they made Halo, I’m not too excited for it. Was never a Halo fan but then again most Xbox games was rubbish so maybe this could be their best work. After all it’s the PlayStation that gets the best

Bungie are the real deal it would seem ?
Halo 1 was a fun game,I had a great time playing local co op on xbox back in the day.
Since then haven’t bothered or even felt like i have missed out on anything, ODST reach ect…. looked awful to my eyes.
This on the other hand might be something very special indeed

I just don’t know what I’m going to do about this one. I’m looking forward to this game, but at the same time I don’t know if I’m going to get it.
I mean, it’s Bungie and their quality is great (Oni was a great game by the way), that’s not the point.
My point is the game will be for playstation 3 and 4, but I don’t know when it’s coming out or the ps4 or the console itself, I would want to play this the launch day, but I don’t want to buy the same game twice.
So, it all depends on how the compatibility is going to be handled on PS4, if it’s like Steam and one version gives me both, that’s fantastic, if not, I will have to make a decision… or just get the PC version if there’s one.
The kind of details are still being discussed but that’s my take on this.

“Turn FPS on its head”
I kinda doubt it.. theres only so much you can do with FPS and its been done before many, many times already. Still, this game looks good but.. is it because of the graphics? Graphics arent something that makes me want or need to play a game its the gameplay and the story.. we already know the gameplay is probably the basic FPS style and I’m not much of an FPS fan. So who knows..
