Video Store update, 25th February

Hello PlayStation Blog, I hope you had a great weekend. This week, I would like to share with you three new Video Store releases.

Argo

Argo
On 4th November, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor.

Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, the Canadian and American governments ask the CIA to intervene. The CIA turns to their top “exfiltration” specialist, Tony Mendez, to come up with a plan to get the six Americans safely out of the country. A plan so incredible, it could only happen in the movies.

Available in Australia from 27th February to rent or buy, priced from AU$6.99/AU$19.99. Available in the UK in March 2013.

Frankenweenie

Frankenweenie

From creative genius Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland, The Nightmare Before Christmas) comes the hilarious and offbeat Frankenweenie, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life – with just a few minor adjustments.

Available now in the UK to rent or buy, priced from £3.49/£11.99. Available in Australia to rent or buy from 27th February, priced AU$5.99/AU$24.99

Paranormal Activity 4

Paranormal Activity 4

AGAIN! UNBELIEVABLE!

Why is this in the Irish channel? There is no Irish Video Store.

There are no words. Thanks for rubbing this in our faces again, SCEE.

Daily Mail readers are having a collective coronary over Argo this morning because (according to the newspaper) it tells porkies about British involvement in the siege and paints us as bad guys.

How about Nordic Countries?

You promised us Video Store “Within a year”, and that promise was made nearly 4 years ago…

If you are as quick rolling out services like Gaikai for PS4 as you are rolling out services for the PS3 I’m sure to buy another system that doens’t has that inncompetent management desision factor in their life blood.
