‘Heads-up’ PlayStation Store update, 27th February 2013

Hi Chris,

Regarding the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution pack — there’s only one version available in the store with ‘product code’ (NPEB-01204) and it is not compatible with my copy of the game that has the ‘product code’ (BLES-01717). Would you kindly verify if that version is universal (compatible with all Black Ops 2 copies), or there will be other versions with different codes available?

Hi. Is there a way we see SKYRIM DLC 50% off all 3. For 1 or maybe more days? Because i only got the money yesterday.. And we waited so many time for this.. I get mad seeing some countrys getting all 3 same time 50%.. I had the money before but the dlc didnt come so i wasted in other psn stuff.. And now.. Oh well

Counter-Strike (GOne) is also on sale in US atm, it’s because it won Gamers Choice Awards for best MP game.. so i can understand now why this IS a big deal to some (lots) people, i just wanted to know why, i mean how hard is it for scee to explain here, or valve on their site, why EU, well PSN EU can’t have it. as i really need to know answer, is it a demand by a anonymous (cough) group that IF it’s released they’ll cause a outrage, of some sort, like a 007 plot with all the secrecy, i mean they probably Could tell us, but then they’d have to kill us, ha,, wouldn’t mind but unlike real secret, or classified info, there probably isn’t a 20or30 year disclosure clause, (freedom of information act, i think), so in (hopefully) about 50 years, when i’m ready to meet Saint Peter (again Hopefully), my last ever thought could just be. Why didn’t they release CS-GO for EU-PSN..
Well, silly as above is, it pales in comparison to the debacle that is the cs-go saga.

Why is Demolition Inc listed again? I bought it maybe a month or so back and now it’s newly listed and available for purchase again instead of displaying the shopping bag icon.

I hear that the Youtube app is out in Europe since the 13th, but for some reason it’s not available in The Netherlands. I can’t think of any reason for that to be the case (I have a lot of devices that have it), so I was wondering if it is perhaps just a glitch, or someone forgot to tick a box in front of our country?

If you want GOW Ascention demo, go to web based SEN from PC and trought search you will find a GOW Ascention page with “Try demo” button. Then it will appear in your download list. Why it was removed from the store? It’s still a mystery.

Will we be getting NGS2+ on the store? Not 1 store in dundee bothered to get a copy of it in, then they had the cheek to tell me if I wanted it I should have preordered, no wonder the vita is a flop in this country the stores dont stock more than 10 games, I know there isnt THE best selection on vita yet but the stores just dont bother with it when there is something to buy

this is str8 up rediculous!!! NGS2+ shud be here allready!, pre-ordered it at my local store Nedgame, found out TODAY! it is a week DELAYED!!. And now I read that the digital version is coming next week also, str8 up and down BS!!! I think I grab the US version,,,, with my US account!!! was realy looking forward to this but fuc it all now! crappy update! its clear to see more money hungry games get advantage!

Just had a weak moment and considered buying Black Ops 2 Season Pass but the shop lets me only reload 50 EUR or 150 EUR and it costs 52 but I am definately not putting 150 EUR up in the ps store LOl, thanks sony !

Chris, its really terribly disapointing that you dont pick up on sarcasm and statements that will always lead to disapointment given SCEEs trackrecord and bad replies (in my case the likelyhood of the £10 free PSN credit? yeah, we arent America, Sony barely accept that we exist, let alone are an important and large chunk of their consumer base)
But I mean honestly, telling the guy a page back that PSEe gets “some discounts SCEA do not”…thats a bunch of crap and you know it, the sheer number and level that they get, combined with natural lower prices? Be blunt with us, its better than lying and hiding behind half truths =/.

And for something completely different.
For PS+, Im pretty sure I saw you comment a few days ago that YOU contacted the publishers asking if content could be added to PS+, would that not make even more sense to have a poll and see exactly what games people want? having…well how many people voted on the PS+ content one? we still dont have the outcome? but say 70% percent of that, would surely sway favour and attract attention as opposed to you guessing?

Any chance of seeing Legend of Dragoon on PSN- It’s a rare gem, and has been out in the United States PSN for almost a year! I’d suggest after the runaway success of Ni No Kuni that there’s never been a better time to get it released over here. Don’t much fancy making a US account for one game, or worse buying it for £60-100 on Ebay!!

OK, so I’m just discovering that now Ross has left, the only realiable way to isolate Playstation Plus posts is by bookmarking Chris Howe’s blog page instead of the playstationplus category. Is there a reason you sometimes file them under the playstationplus category but sometimes don’t bother?
