Hey Fred, last week I won the weekend debate and was sent a code for When Viking Attack – only problem is the game was not the complete edition, and the ‘When Vikings Relax’ DLC that was redeemed was only the PS3 version, not the Vita version. Similarily, whenever I look at it on the store, it asks me to purchase it rather then download it, regardless of whether I’m using the Vita store or the PS Store. Is there anyway to fix this issue ? Many regards

Ah, apologies for this, there was a problem with the code. You should have been sent a new one – let me know if you haven’t received it.

Hey Fred, indeed a great week with the awesome March line-up announced, plus that GOW HD and the confirmation of a KH HD release for Europe.
I have a question (worry not, it’s not an error or an issue today
): I hear the PlayStation Store (at least the US one) already works on iOS devices! Any news on when can we expect Android (and other) mobile support, or are you making an App or something?
Posted on 4 March, 2013 at 9:03 am by Fred Dutton
Yes, I believe that is in the works – I’ll investigate…

@fred and fellow Bloggers
Last Night I Went To Play Zen Pinball 2 After I Bought The Star Wars Pack And I Noticed My Game is Busted.
All My Tables Show As Trials (The pic with The Keyhole In It), even after I Download The Key Again It Still Just Shows As A Trial.
I Deleted Zen From My Ps3 And Its Still Happening When I Redownload it, luckly i Have A Vita So I Played It That Way But I Really Want To Play The New Tables In 3d So Need Them To Work On Ps3 And I Would Also Like My Other Content To Work Again.
I Have All But 4 Of The Tables In The Game And None Are Unlocking Does Anyone Know How I Fix This?

Hi fred dont know if you will read this but….
would it be possible to make the Sims series (psp) compatible for the Vita?
ive been waiting a year for it to be compatible but no luck. and think it would be great having Sims games on the store considering it one of the biggest franchises out there
thanks
Posted on 4 March, 2013 at 10:29 am by Fred Dutton
Alas, that would be a decision for the game’s publisher, EA, to make.

Hey Fred,
In an older post Chris mentioned that there will be a PSP sale in the near future. I hope it’s not that far away because I need some games to play on my Vita. Can you give a hint when it’ll happen?
I have a few suggestions for the price drops if you don’t mind:
Killzone: Liberation – the most important comes first (KZ: Mercenary is coming so…)
God of War CoO and GoS, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, LocoRoco 1&2, MGS: Peace Walker, Patapon 1&2&3, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, Daxter, Resistance Retribution, Star Wars: Battlefront, GTA games, Motorstorm: Arctic Edge.
I hope some of these will get a discount.
Cheers!

Hello Fred and fellow PlayStation Nation
Not much to talk about other than that, also thanks for the code for when vikings attack from the weekend debate last week Fred, sadly I only picked it up yesterday and a shoutout to ryannumber3gamer for reminding me.
I have a problem with it though when I was installing it onto my vita it just came up could not install. Could anyone help me? Other than that enjoy the rest of your weekend Fred. Bye everyone
I saw that on the official PlayStation YouTube channel about Willem Dafoe joining the cast for beyond. I am excited to see what he brings to the game a fantastic actor and I loved him in spider-man as the green
goblin. Sony couldnt have picked a better man other than Willem Dafoe a fantastic actor and hes going to make beyond feel like not just a game but also like a Film for David Cage and co at Quantic Dream, and he will be great in the game along with Ellen Page.

Hi Fred,
Firstly I’m backing up comment 8 that it would be wonderful to see a PSP sale, especially with titles that are slightly more expensive like peace walker and persona 3.
Second is just a request. Someone listened to me (I’m guessing) when I requested Valkyria Chronicles 2 be compatible for Vita (it was made compatible just weeks after my request). So last of all I’m requesting Phantasy Star Portable 2 be made compatible for the Vita. Every feature of the Vita would be superb for PSP2 and what with JP getting Phantasy Star universe for the Vita, it would be nice.
Thanks for reading.
Posted on 4 March, 2013 at 10:32 am by Fred Dutton
Noted, but you’ll need to direct your request at the game’s publisher – Sega.

I have a question regarding PS+. When the Playstation Network was down due to hacking about two years ago, we got one month of PS+. I took advantage of that on another account on my other console, and downloaded Magic and Burnout: Paradise to it.
Is there no way for me to get access to those games without having to get another plus subscription?
Posted on 4 March, 2013 at 10:33 am by Fred Dutton
Alas, there’s no way to transfer games across multiple accounts. The only way to play those titles would be to renew on that ID.

Hey Fred
I still haven’t received any email containing my code for the MotorStorm game that was given out for Ratchet and Clank QForce. Any chance you could look into this for me and see what’s up?
The other day I came up with an idea so waited until today to tell you. A friend of mine was going away for the weekend so needed to send a mail on the PS3 but forgot to do it so the next day I woke up and turned the PS3 on. I forgot to send a message and left for work. When I got there I remembered I left the PS3 on. The idea was, is there any way to be able to send a message AND turn off the PS3 from a PC (don’t like having the PS3 setting to turn it off)? Even if there was an app for iPhones, iPod, BlackBerry, etc that could do something like that. Would be nice to be able to send a mail from an app that gets sent over the PS3.
Had another idea to share but done too much drinking last night so my head is gone right now. lol. But hopefully it will come back
Posted on 4 March, 2013 at 10:36 am by Fred Dutton
Re. Motorstorm – I’ll check if all the emails were sent out. You did play Qforce on your PS£, while logged in to PSN, prior to the annnouncement of the Motorstorm promotion, correct?
As for your suggestion, I don’t believe there’s any such functionality at present, but new features are being added all the time. I’ll pass this on…

Hey,
Where’s the weekend playlist post?
Anyway, I’ll say it here.
Finished Metal Gear Revegeance first run and I’m playing Persona 4 Golden which arrived last week.
Caught up on some episodes of Archer and Arrow (for the less informed, those are names of two different series).
Read some great articles on the Witcher 3 and I’m literally 20 pages away of finishing Storm of Swords.
A certain PS4 trailer and Spotify helped me discover a whole new artist to listen to, my weekend will be filled listening to epic music from “Two Steps From Hell”.

Sorry! Jawad was away and I was couped up in meetings all day Friday so it didn’t quite happen this week. It’ll be back, promise.

I saw a video of ‘Killzone: Mercenary’ being played on a PSVita(of course) but it was being shown at the same time on a big HD TV & it looked AMAZING
If i could play PSVita games & beam
them to my HD TV(via the PS3 or PS4) i would buy a PSVita + all the brilliant PSVita Exclusives

re. Killzone Mercanary being PLAYED through big screen tv, What ?.. Seriously How is that possible, and more importantly how much money for whatever ‘gizmo’ was used to make such a thing happen.. I heard psp games could use tv screen, but the quality was awful. tbh, sony Not including the tv screen option with Vita’s is a terrible mistake imo.. But IF it’s possible then even i would consider re-buying a Vita.. Anyone know how they did this, what price the equipment needed is.. or any alternate (cheapest) alternatives, but ones that’d offer good quality visual ?.
Why did they exclude this (killer) feature from Vita anyway, i can recal some response to this question, last year during launch hype.. lol, looking back now it was like some advert/pr for a manned mission to Land on Mars, anyways i wish i remembered Why they said they wasn’t doing ‘play through PS3/TV Screen’, Hope this is possible, (for working classes kind of cash).

Can we please get a more official response than “contact customer support” for all the QForce people who didn’t get the code they were promised?
It simply isn’t good enough that you expect people to make expensive phone calls because you didn’t do things right. I’d be really disappointed if I missed Gladiator HD because of this. Thanks.

@Fred
Yep I played it on the PS3 long before they even mentioned MotorStorm. I had the game since it was released but was given it at Christmas and started playing it in January. I’m always signed in online when playing games. Have got the platinum and even played against other players a good few times. After hearing about MotorStorm, I jumped back on to ensure it gets counted.

Hey Fred good news. I finally got round to remembering the other idea. lol. It took it’s time to return
Anyway was thinking it would been nice if we where able to buy PS3 games that also has a PC version inside the box. Games like Tomb Raider and Battlefield 3 would all be much better on PC but I like to play on the console. The idea was the normal box for PS3 which remains the same price (£40) or have a choice to buy the box with a PC game inside and say add on an extra £10 or just half of the PC game on it’s own.
A lot of people wouldn’t want to buy the same game twice but this would be like buying a double set blu ray dvds or even the triple (dvd, blu ray and digital copy). Do you think this would even be possible? Would be nice to buy myself a PS3/PS4 game with a code inside containing a copy for the PC game so I can play it on both PS3 and PC.
By the way any word yet bout the MotorStorm code?
Posted on 5 March, 2013 at 10:51 am by Fred Dutton
It’s a nice idea, but I think there might be some conflicts of interest there!
Motorstorm – I’m still chasing, update soon hopefully.

Hello again Fred, sorry for not being on last night due to maintenance.
I heard the US is getting 4 free games. 1 free game last week was nice so what about us. Us European gamers haven’t even got free PSP games yet (Well only one and that’s Super Stardust Portable).

@34
Btw, this offer is not just for Plus members. Everyone else too because of the Vita’s 1st Anniversary and ours was just a sale but we did get God of War HD however we for free just to coincide the release of GoW: Ascension but that was only for Plus members. Hope we get better freebies along the way like free PSP games. As for a another treat, I hope it’s not a another game I already own which might be most likely. Very jealous that the US got 4 free PSP games though. =\

@31
Well, Portal 2 for PS3 has a free pc-version inside it (at least the one I got had one), in the form of a download voucher for Steam. So I think it’s definitely possible if developers (and Sony) intend to do so.
Then again, Portal 2 was developed by Valve, and Valve own Steam, so I guess Valve can do whatever they want of that sort. Maybe if other developers made a website where you could download the pc-versions of their games, then maybe they could give out extra vouchers as well in the PS3 versions? Or perhaps charge a bit of extra money for a bundled version?
I’m not really that interested in PC-gaming myself, but it might be an attractive deal for those who are.

Hi Fred
I have played Ratchet & Clank Q Force offline as I’m not much of a online player but when I heard about Ratchet Gladiator & Motorstorm, I tried to play online but it wouldn’t let me go on. I will be very disappointed if it is only for online players as it s kind of like taking a huge crap on us offline players. Please, Please tell me I can get the code for playing offline. If I can’t, I don’t think I’ll be buying another Insomniac game again. =(
