Everyone here at Frima Studio is excited to announce that the sequel to the best-selling PlayStation mini Zombie Tycoon is coming on 1st May!

Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge will be a full-fledged Cross Play and Cross Buy-enabled digital title available for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita via PlayStation Network!

Pick your side in the epic war between two evil masterminds: apprentice-gone-rogue Orville Tycoon and his army of heavy-duty zombies, or his vengeance-thirsty mentor Professor Brainhov and his frantic masses of agile undead!

Post Z-day, Tycoon’s mad machination to extinguish all life in Finkleville has almost reached its apogee. During the final siege on the human fortress, his former mentor makes a sudden comeback, seeking retribution for his apprentice’s betrayal and eager to reclaim his rightful place as alpha mad scientist.

Only one question remains: who shall win? Slow zombies or fast zombies? Find out as undead armies clash in both the immersive single player campaign and the competitive multiplayer mode!

The multiplayer mode pits Brainhov and his fast, ravenous zombies against Tycoon and his army of shambling, slow zombies in a one-on-one deathmatch. Pick a side and unleash your zombie hordes to destroy the mobile base commanded by your rival scientist. To achieve that, you will be given control of two packs of zombies and a powerful monster unit to gain control over various buildings, level up and ultimately face off in an epic battle!

Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge is a Cross Play, Cross Buy title – Vita players can face off against PlayStation 3 players in online multiplayer and vice-versa – and for a single purchase, you will be able to play on either console!

I’m loving the cross-play/cross-buy love with these new PSN games.

This looks like a fun wee game. I’ll put 10quids on that!

1.How will you use the touch controlls? Hopefully you will be able to controll the Zombie squads with the touch.

2. How many Zomibe types will the game have? The first one only had 3 which was a little to few.

3. Will the game have customization like the first game had?

4. Please make “A Space Shooter For 2 Bucks!” Sequel!!!

@kivi95 You’ll be able to control 7 different types of zombies on both Brainhov and Tycoon’s side. See if you can spot some of them in the video teaser!

As for the controls, we’ve developed a pretty intuitive way to manage your squads and your other units, we’ll be going in details when we get closer to the launch.

Sold. The first Zombie Tycoon was awesome and this being cross-buy between PS3 and Vita just makes the deal even sweeter.

Thanks guys, really looking forward to this now!

Brilliant, I will pick this up as it looks great. Do you have any plans to bring further titles to the Vita? More and more developers seem to be supporting the device and it’s definitely the best place for downloadable games at the moment.

Nice, looks great! I really liked the first Zombie Tycoon, except… there doesn’t seem to be any way to protect your zombies from beartraps. I searched all over every level several times, and there was nothing, so the game was impossible to complete (level 9 has many beartraps). Hopefully, there won’t be such problems with the sequel. I’ll wait a while and see if anybody reports anything (unless somebody knows a way I can progress in the first game, in which case I’ll buy this on release! :D).

Looks good and love that it’s another cross buy/play title. Definitely looking forward to this on the Vita.
