G’day VZers, how is it hanging? We have an ever eclectic mix of newness for you this week, and not all beginning with “D”, because that would just be weird. We have a dash of Dido, a flourish of Fall Out Boy and a deep dark ditch of Disclosure.
Also this week, as you will probably have already heard, Big Dave is back! Mr Bowie that is, I’m not sure anyone has ever called him Big Dave, Anyway, I will let Candice explain down to the tiniest detail below.
Artist Of The Week – Fall Out Boy
Pop-punk heroes Fall Out Boy have returned! And they’ve apparently come back after their five year break to Save Rock and Roll as their new album title suggests. We’ve given the quartet the honor of sitting in VidZone’s Artist Of The Week throne so you can watch the brand new video for ‘My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)’ featuring rapper 2 Chainz setting their CD’s and instruments on fire!

Hi
Off topic but there is a few things I wanted to point out that you may not be aware of, the first thing is preorder games on the store, if you preorder a game on the store you download it when its available but then the preorder version doesnt show on the store anymore its only visible in your download list, the version on the store is different to the one you purchased and displays as having to buy the game again, now here is where the problem is, if anything happens to my PS3 and I need to replace it for a new one, my download list no longer exists on the new console so any preorder games I’ve bought are gone forever I would need to buy them again, something needs to be done about this.

Off-topic:
If the preorder game is in your download list, then when you sign in on a new PS3 you can simply re-access that.
On-topic:
I upgraded my internet last month and have since been loving Vidzone. This service is awesome as. Had a couple friends over last night, this playing in the back. 10/10. I’m guessing NZ doesn’t get adverts like other countries do?

Your download history is tied to your account so it doesn’t matter if its a new console, when I got a new ps3 I made this account And i also recovered my old account (Galactic_Misfit from a different ps3 in 2010) I was able to download everything I downloaded from that account onto this ps3 themes/DLC/PSN games.

ok so are you saying that when I sign into my account on a new ps3 when I look in account manager all my games will show in download history? I didnt know that ok thnx

Ive just asked somone who has this problem, he just replaced the HDD in his ps3 and his download list is empty under account manager if he goes on the store he can download all the games he has bought but he doesnt see the preorder version of his game there is only the version that was replaced when preorder version went off the store.
anyway I’ll leave this I’ll let him sort it out thnx.
