God of War: Ascension out now – TV ad and PS3 giveaway

Will pick this game up sometime next month. Say hate to go off-topic:

1. Any news on Machinarium for the Vita aoon? I heard NA is getting it next month or are we going to have to wait 3 months for it?

2. Any news on two new characters joining the All-Stars next week and a new stage since the US has that date too?

A truly fantastic game and if you’re even remotely interested in the series it’s worth checking out. Definitely a fine end to the series for this generation at least.

Is GOW Ascension the last in the series or will it continue on the PS4?

Is there any plans for Single player DLC?

I picked up the collector’s edition today and will have a bash next week sometime

It was between this or tomb raider today and I went for tomb raider.

I love god of war but still have volume 2 of the hd collection to get through so planning to blast tomb raider then ill pick this up.

@fred I just got home and unwrapped my shiny GOW:A collectrs edition but noticed something missing. The DLC voucher for Zeus and Isaac. It was reported on IGN that we would be getting them for buying GOW:A and I have seen many US unboxing videos with them. Are we getting them? I think it is highly unfair to make us pay for something when our American cousins don’t have to.

When i try to enter this competition i get the following:

Now i read the entry requirements and there’s not a single requirement i don’t meet. I’m a Dutch resident, not professionally involved and way past 18. Can someone please look into this?

Just waiting for my US version of the CE to arrive now but all this commotion for the launch of GOW;A but still NO explanation as to why 3D was pulled after it was promised it WOULD have it.

never really paid any interest in this series, somehow just went below the radar. tried gow 1 after the free download last week and i am loving it. expected a button masher but it has depth and some puzzle solving. is this mix kept up in ascension? riddles and combat would give a refreshing change for my at present sterile game collection

Great game but is there anyway of looking at your online stats? Kd ratio, leaderboards ect….

It would be nice to see some list of restricted countries. Its highly confusing and disappointing when you hype me for something like that (there was actually a question I wanted to ask despite of winning a prize) and then let jut let me know that I am not eligible to enter

Totally on-topic/off-topic story

I was going to go down town and pick this up today, and then got struck with some mystery illness (probably flu). Timing sucks, and now I’m bed bound.

ARGHHH.

Worst still, I just moved to this area a few months ago, so there’s nobody I can text and say “Hey. Dying here. Go Game and buy me GOW:A!”.

Oh well. Should be fit in a few days. Until then, there’s gameplay videos.

Hi Fred, i hope you’ll finally reply to my question, i’ve tried asking to other people during the past few weeks, without success.

Do you know if/when the Deimos skin from God of War III will ever be released in the Playstation Store? It was a redeemable content from the PSP chapter Ghost of Sparta, but now all the codes are expired, making it pretty much unobtainable for new customers.

The same would apply to the Legionnaire Skin and Forest Arena for Ghost of Sparta for the PSP, they were pre-order content, but now it’s 2013 and they’re no longer obtainable.

Ask SCE Santa Monica or Ready At Dawn if necessary, but we want to know. It would be awesome to see them released for everyone (for a price or not) now that Ascension is finally available (that, and the recent GOW sale)

I liked GOW3 better, maybe because it was the first that looked so gorgeous, maybe because I liked the pacing better (less puzzles), I don’t know really.Still, amazing game by itself. I’m enjoying the co op too, want to level up everything.

I’m 24 and Finnish. I should be able to take part, but still can’t.

Me again, I took part in the god of war beta but no matter how hard I try I cannot download the Armour. It tells me on the online store via a pc that I am not eligible. Why? I filled the criteria for it.

I’m in an eligible country (Portugal) and I’m 18, not professionally involved, and can’t take part in the competition.

@ BluSpykz, if you’re still bed-bound you might be better off ordering from shopto.net. they’ve got it a good few quid cheaper than it is in Game, and I ordered a copy yesterday afternoon and it arrived in the post this morning

Really been enjoying the game but would like to echo my disappointment of not receiving the Playstation All Stars characters, secretly really looking forward to playing as Isaac!!!
