Hello everyone. It’s getting dangerously close to that time of year where we all start to count how many chocolate eggs we can eat in one sitting, and then feeling deeply unwell afterwards. So, what better way to cure that feeling than with some great games!

Now as tradition reminds us, you should have to hunt for your treats at this time of year. With that in mind, PlayStation Store is very happy to present our Egg Hunt!

Much like the 12 Deals of Christmas promotion late last year, each of these discounts will be revealed just before they go live and will last for 48 hours only, starting today, Wednesday 27th March. Make sure you keep checking the Blog for information on the next deal!

But that’s not all! At the same time as the Egg Hunt we will also be running our Spring Sale so make sure you head over to the PlayStation Store to grab yourself some bargains. These discounts will start once the store has updated on Wednesday 27th March and will run until 9th April. Enjoy!

Check back regularly to find out what the next deal will be!

Can you put borderlands 2 season pass plz.

A game that has been discounted before…not the best offer you can give us

BaBy-_-D3aN0 31 March, 2013 @ 12:05 pm   3

Any chance of actually getting the 10% PS+ discount listed for Ghost Recon??? Been asking for 3 days now…

BaBy-_-D3aN0 31 March, 2013 @ 12:08 pm   4

Also, while this deal does sound tempting, I refuse to buy it simply because it’s an obvious choice to be entered into the IGC sometime in the next 3 months IMO…cross play, bundle of paid DLC, playstation exclusive…think I’ll leave this one

Does PS Allstars Battle Royale include the vita cross-play or is it just the PS3 version?

I agree with #4, good discount but the game will come to Plus no doubt.

S-o-h-a-i-l 31 March, 2013 @ 12:20 pm   7

I recommend this game to anyone, beleive me you will not be disappointed. It’s also cross-buy, meaning you get the Vita digital copy for no extra charge ! The online community is large and active, and the roster is diverse, each with unique movesets. With DLC content coming on a regular basis (all of which is cross buy aswell ofcourse), this game will be alive for a very long time, so jump in !

supersmith2500 31 March, 2013 @ 12:25 pm   8

Must be so desperate trying to gain more sales for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale eh? Not to mention, the Vita version was already discounted in the Vita sale.

Could you least try get different games in the sale, not the ones that are already discounted. Try get some Vita games involved if you can.

Please do a sale for All stars DLCS’

dlc’s are so priced
do a pack four that 4 chars
as €9.99

monkeyd_93 31 March, 2013 @ 12:39 pm   10

Any chance you could also add the price in AUD in addition to GBP and the EURO pricing? Makes it a little less confusing for us Aussies :)

almighty-slayer 31 March, 2013 @ 12:52 pm   11

Yes, when you buy the PS3 version you get the Vita version included.

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 12:59 pm   12

I still don’t see “Generation of Chaos” in the store, it’s probably related to where I live – Israel, but there’s no notice that it’s not available in any countries.

dark_angel69 31 March, 2013 @ 1:00 pm   13

I think this is a great deal. It’s cheaper than Amazon and Shopt.net for sure as they are still over 20 quid. Would love to buy this but I’m swamped with games right now and need to do more saving up. :( But anyway keep them coming. :D Hope to see good deals like this over summer as I would be able to buy plenty then.

ghettokid1987 31 March, 2013 @ 1:07 pm   14

What about missing additional discount for Plus subscribers for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier ?!

Tagged_Deaf 31 March, 2013 @ 1:24 pm   15

Hmm, it is a good deal but I’m not sure that I can buy this game for the moment as I hopefully await another deal like that next egg or so. *coughwhitewitchcough* ;-)

And excellent Tomb Raider keep me busy for while anyway. Thank very much for it again!

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 1:28 pm   16

Question.

If I own a PS Vita and no PS3, will I be able to activate this on my Vita, or will I have to somehow run it on a PS3 first?

God dammit another great discount :(. But I have been wanted to gt this for both ps3 and psvita for a while so I guess it’s the time.

16# Both the ps3 and psvita version will show up in you download view list. So no need to have a PS3 :).

Stonesthrow 31 March, 2013 @ 1:36 pm   19

Own it but great deal.

Paquete89 31 March, 2013 @ 1:41 pm   20

Another amazing sale by SCEE. I can only hope these deals keep being sucessful for you guys so you keep making them. For the first time ever I am looking at digital the same way i look at retail, and that’s a great acomplishment for sony ;)

NOSAJ19 31 March, 2013 @ 1:49 pm   21

Chris, could we have some PS Vita deals, please? Such as Sumioni Demon Arts, Retro City Rampage, Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable, Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath, etc…?

silmorat1 31 March, 2013 @ 1:52 pm   22

@discorlddeath – you are best to buy it through the Sony website as you are best buying the Ps3 version that way you will get the Vita version as part of the cross buy offer. If you were to buy though the Vita you would only get the Vita version.

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 2:01 pm   23

I am talking about the site, since it lists it as PS3, and I’ve heard in previous posts that in order to enable cross-buy you have to activate it via a PS3 first.

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 2:01 pm   24

And I’m wary of buying without confirmation because frankly, the level or rather lack thereof of customer support out of Sony is appalling :-/

S-o-h-a-i-l 31 March, 2013 @ 2:47 pm   25

You only need to activate the Vita version via the PS3 if you buy the game on disc. If you buy the PS3 version from the PS Store, the Vita version will just show up on your download list.

neokillerandre6 31 March, 2013 @ 2:58 pm   26

Any chance we could get a dragon age bundle on a future egg hunt?

Voodoo341 31 March, 2013 @ 3:48 pm   27

Hasn’t Allstars been put on sale a few times before?

TitManSoldier 31 March, 2013 @ 4:52 pm   28

Chris i request you to put bioshock infinite somewhere in the sale that would be a great thing to do if it is. Its an instant buy for quite a lot of people..including me aha

VirusPT 31 March, 2013 @ 5:02 pm   29

#28 Chris already said that the game came out this week and wouldn’t be in this sale

Joooooink 31 March, 2013 @ 5:10 pm   30

I can’t install PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on my vita.
It stops at 15% of the process and gives error:
Could not install.
An error has occurred.
(C2-12383-7)

Anyone else get this or know how to fix it?

sammy9005 31 March, 2013 @ 5:35 pm   31

thank you for finally adding a ps vita game but i already own this and it has already been on sale before please will you reduce the metal gear solid ps one classic because its NEVER BEEN ON SALE and it costs £7.99 just for a ps one game! whereas all the other ps one classics cost about £3.50!

AustGTI 31 March, 2013 @ 5:42 pm   32

i just checked the store for the tomb raider offer but it has the normal price not the discounted price. Has that offer finished? also, great offers so far. is it possible for bioshock infinite to go on offer as the egg hunt continued.

#32

Yes it’s gone. These Egg Hunt offers only last for 2 days. Bioshock just got released so that’s a no.

MASPALOMAZ 31 March, 2013 @ 6:09 pm   34

bioshock infinite on sale? thats too funny when it just came out this week, its the game of the year for many, sales numbers are skyhigh and it probably wont be for sale for the next 6 months or so.

burnoutuk 31 March, 2013 @ 6:53 pm   35

I’m getting the same as Post 30.

Trying to install All-Stars on Vita but it gets to 15% and errors.

Could not install.
An error has occurred.
(C2-12383-7)

kimivan 31 March, 2013 @ 7:06 pm   36

@ #30, #35 had the same problem with motorstorm rc.
had to call costumer support and wait for e refund so i could download it again
wish the best of luck to you because waiting 3 weeks to play a game that we want so much we instantly buy it ……. sucks

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 7:33 pm   37

I got the same error, and customer support keeps juggling you between branches in my experience.

VirusPT 31 March, 2013 @ 8:19 pm   38

I would like to see Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning or Dragon Age 2 on this sale.
But my hunch is that it’s going to be Crysis 3 or Dead Space 3

rodrigo1UP 31 March, 2013 @ 8:20 pm   39

Nice price for great games, but i have it already, looking forward for the next deal =)

Man, this whole Easter Sale is such a huge disappointment :/ Apart from Trine 2 and maybe Personas on PSP I can’t see anything worth buying :/

Terarded 31 March, 2013 @ 9:34 pm   41

for those of you wondering thats $25 in australian currency.

though id suggest not getting it if your a ps plus member since 90% of exclusives end up in the IGC (look at infamous 2 and littlebigplanet 2, theyve been part of the ’12 free games’ for like half a year

That price is pretty high. I can get it at a much lower price than that and in physical form shipped to “any” country in the world for a total price that is far lower than this…. It has also been on sale before.

pynieq85 31 March, 2013 @ 10:36 pm   43

The same problem as post 30. Error C2-12383-7. I guess I have to wait for a refound and buy it one more time. What if I get the refound after 2nd April and the game will return to its normal price?!?

Can we have Medal of Honor Warfighter as the next easter egg deal?

Dark-Twisted 1 April, 2013 @ 12:57 am   45

I sucked up and got All Stars in good faith it won’t be free within the next six months. Thanks for the good deal, hoping not to be let down like those who bought Sleeping Dogs.

RealPhlik 1 April, 2013 @ 1:29 am   46

I have the same error that 30# had but the problem is that i´m from Portugal but i have an UK account, what must I do? It´s a Birthday Present and i´m only a Kid.

ghettokid1987 1 April, 2013 @ 6:42 am   47

What about missing additional discount for Plus subscribers for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier ?!

And why declared discounts correct only for UK ?

I anderstand that there is a difference between prices in different countries due to currency rate, but the percentage of discount obviously should be the same, am i right ?

BaBy-_-D3aN0 1 April, 2013 @ 10:40 am   48

I decided against my better judgement to give in and buy this, as it looks like a fun game on the vita. Didn’t want to pay as I know it will be free soon on PS+. Wish I hadn’t now. same problem as above. Yes the PS3 version probably works, but I have little to no interest in the PS3 version, bought it so I could play on my vita.

Sort it out. Been a loyal customer since the PS1, but the customer service this weekend has been disgusting.

gardjanguardian 1 April, 2013 @ 10:43 am   49

I just bought All-Stars and after that I see that people have the same errors just like me. Now I’m getting “c2-13270-3″ error.

I’m trying to re-download it and try to install it one more time and if that won’t work where do you apply/write for a refund? I would be grateful for an answer.

DiscworldDeath 1 April, 2013 @ 12:55 pm   50

The source of the error is likely seen in the store.

Go to the PS3 PSABR, says “Already purchased.”
Go to the Vita PSABR, it says “Unable to purchase” and when you click on “Tell me more” it tells you you already purchased it… so why isn’t it marked as “Already purchased” on the store page? Might be a different download as well >.>
