Hello everyone. It’s getting dangerously close to that time of year where we all start to count how many chocolate eggs we can eat in one sitting, and then feeling deeply unwell afterwards. So, what better way to cure that feeling than with some great games!

Now as tradition reminds us, you should have to hunt for your treats at this time of year. With that in mind, PlayStation Store is very happy to present our Egg Hunt!

Much like the 12 Deals of Christmas promotion late last year, each of these discounts will be revealed just before they go live and will last for 48 hours only, starting today, Wednesday 27th March. Make sure you keep checking the Blog for information on the next deal!

But that’s not all! At the same time as the Egg Hunt we will also be running our Spring Sale so make sure you head over to the PlayStation Store to grab yourself some bargains. These discounts will start once the store has updated on Wednesday 27th March and will run until 9th April. Enjoy!

Check back regularly to find out what the next deal will be!

Can you put borderlands 2 season pass plz.

A game that has been discounted before…not the best offer you can give us

BaBy-_-D3aN0 31 March, 2013 @ 12:05 pm   3

Any chance of actually getting the 10% PS+ discount listed for Ghost Recon??? Been asking for 3 days now…

BaBy-_-D3aN0 31 March, 2013 @ 12:08 pm   4

Also, while this deal does sound tempting, I refuse to buy it simply because it’s an obvious choice to be entered into the IGC sometime in the next 3 months IMO…cross play, bundle of paid DLC, playstation exclusive…think I’ll leave this one

Does PS Allstars Battle Royale include the vita cross-play or is it just the PS3 version?

I agree with #4, good discount but the game will come to Plus no doubt.

S-o-h-a-i-l 31 March, 2013 @ 12:20 pm   7

I recommend this game to anyone, beleive me you will not be disappointed. It’s also cross-buy, meaning you get the Vita digital copy for no extra charge ! The online community is large and active, and the roster is diverse, each with unique movesets. With DLC content coming on a regular basis (all of which is cross buy aswell ofcourse), this game will be alive for a very long time, so jump in !

supersmith2500 31 March, 2013 @ 12:25 pm   8

Must be so desperate trying to gain more sales for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale eh? Not to mention, the Vita version was already discounted in the Vita sale.

Could you least try get different games in the sale, not the ones that are already discounted. Try get some Vita games involved if you can.

Please do a sale for All stars DLCS’

dlc’s are so priced
do a pack four that 4 chars
as €9.99

monkeyd_93 31 March, 2013 @ 12:39 pm   10

Any chance you could also add the price in AUD in addition to GBP and the EURO pricing? Makes it a little less confusing for us Aussies :)

almighty-slayer 31 March, 2013 @ 12:52 pm   11

Yes, when you buy the PS3 version you get the Vita version included.

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 12:59 pm   12

I still don’t see “Generation of Chaos” in the store, it’s probably related to where I live – Israel, but there’s no notice that it’s not available in any countries.

dark_angel69 31 March, 2013 @ 1:00 pm   13

I think this is a great deal. It’s cheaper than Amazon and Shopt.net for sure as they are still over 20 quid. Would love to buy this but I’m swamped with games right now and need to do more saving up. :( But anyway keep them coming. :D Hope to see good deals like this over summer as I would be able to buy plenty then.

ghettokid1987 31 March, 2013 @ 1:07 pm   14

What about missing additional discount for Plus subscribers for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier ?!

Tagged_Deaf 31 March, 2013 @ 1:24 pm   15

Hmm, it is a good deal but I’m not sure that I can buy this game for the moment as I hopefully await another deal like that next egg or so. *coughwhitewitchcough* ;-)

And excellent Tomb Raider keep me busy for while anyway. Thank very much for it again!

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 1:28 pm   16

Question.

If I own a PS Vita and no PS3, will I be able to activate this on my Vita, or will I have to somehow run it on a PS3 first?

God dammit another great discount :(. But I have been wanted to gt this for both ps3 and psvita for a while so I guess it’s the time.

16# Both the ps3 and psvita version will show up in you download view list. So no need to have a PS3 :).

Stonesthrow 31 March, 2013 @ 1:36 pm   19

Own it but great deal.

Paquete89 31 March, 2013 @ 1:41 pm   20

Another amazing sale by SCEE. I can only hope these deals keep being sucessful for you guys so you keep making them. For the first time ever I am looking at digital the same way i look at retail, and that’s a great acomplishment for sony ;)

NOSAJ19 31 March, 2013 @ 1:49 pm   21

Chris, could we have some PS Vita deals, please? Such as Sumioni Demon Arts, Retro City Rampage, Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable, Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath, etc…?

silmorat1 31 March, 2013 @ 1:52 pm   22

@discorlddeath – you are best to buy it through the Sony website as you are best buying the Ps3 version that way you will get the Vita version as part of the cross buy offer. If you were to buy though the Vita you would only get the Vita version.

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 2:01 pm   23

I am talking about the site, since it lists it as PS3, and I’ve heard in previous posts that in order to enable cross-buy you have to activate it via a PS3 first.

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 2:01 pm   24

And I’m wary of buying without confirmation because frankly, the level or rather lack thereof of customer support out of Sony is appalling :-/

S-o-h-a-i-l 31 March, 2013 @ 2:47 pm   25

You only need to activate the Vita version via the PS3 if you buy the game on disc. If you buy the PS3 version from the PS Store, the Vita version will just show up on your download list.

neokillerandre6 31 March, 2013 @ 2:58 pm   26

Any chance we could get a dragon age bundle on a future egg hunt?

Voodoo341 31 March, 2013 @ 3:48 pm   27

Hasn’t Allstars been put on sale a few times before?

TitManSoldier 31 March, 2013 @ 4:52 pm   28

Chris i request you to put bioshock infinite somewhere in the sale that would be a great thing to do if it is. Its an instant buy for quite a lot of people..including me aha

VirusPT 31 March, 2013 @ 5:02 pm   29

#28 Chris already said that the game came out this week and wouldn’t be in this sale

Joooooink 31 March, 2013 @ 5:10 pm   30

I can’t install PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on my vita.
It stops at 15% of the process and gives error:
Could not install.
An error has occurred.
(C2-12383-7)

Anyone else get this or know how to fix it?

sammy9005 31 March, 2013 @ 5:35 pm   31

thank you for finally adding a ps vita game but i already own this and it has already been on sale before please will you reduce the metal gear solid ps one classic because its NEVER BEEN ON SALE and it costs £7.99 just for a ps one game! whereas all the other ps one classics cost about £3.50!

AustGTI 31 March, 2013 @ 5:42 pm   32

i just checked the store for the tomb raider offer but it has the normal price not the discounted price. Has that offer finished? also, great offers so far. is it possible for bioshock infinite to go on offer as the egg hunt continued.

#32

Yes it’s gone. These Egg Hunt offers only last for 2 days. Bioshock just got released so that’s a no.

MASPALOMAZ 31 March, 2013 @ 6:09 pm   34

bioshock infinite on sale? thats too funny when it just came out this week, its the game of the year for many, sales numbers are skyhigh and it probably wont be for sale for the next 6 months or so.

burnoutuk 31 March, 2013 @ 6:53 pm   35

I’m getting the same as Post 30.

Trying to install All-Stars on Vita but it gets to 15% and errors.

Could not install.
An error has occurred.
(C2-12383-7)

kimivan 31 March, 2013 @ 7:06 pm   36

@ #30, #35 had the same problem with motorstorm rc.
had to call costumer support and wait for e refund so i could download it again
wish the best of luck to you because waiting 3 weeks to play a game that we want so much we instantly buy it ……. sucks

DiscworldDeath 31 March, 2013 @ 7:33 pm   37

I got the same error, and customer support keeps juggling you between branches in my experience.

VirusPT 31 March, 2013 @ 8:19 pm   38

I would like to see Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning or Dragon Age 2 on this sale.
But my hunch is that it’s going to be Crysis 3 or Dead Space 3

rodrigo1UP 31 March, 2013 @ 8:20 pm   39

Nice price for great games, but i have it already, looking forward for the next deal =)

Man, this whole Easter Sale is such a huge disappointment :/ Apart from Trine 2 and maybe Personas on PSP I can’t see anything worth buying :/

Terarded 31 March, 2013 @ 9:34 pm   41

for those of you wondering thats $25 in australian currency.

though id suggest not getting it if your a ps plus member since 90% of exclusives end up in the IGC (look at infamous 2 and littlebigplanet 2, theyve been part of the ’12 free games’ for like half a year

That price is pretty high. I can get it at a much lower price than that and in physical form shipped to “any” country in the world for a total price that is far lower than this…. It has also been on sale before.

pynieq85 31 March, 2013 @ 10:36 pm   43

The same problem as post 30. Error C2-12383-7. I guess I have to wait for a refound and buy it one more time. What if I get the refound after 2nd April and the game will return to its normal price?!?

Can we have Medal of Honor Warfighter as the next easter egg deal?

Dark-Twisted 1 April, 2013 @ 12:57 am   45

I sucked up and got All Stars in good faith it won’t be free within the next six months. Thanks for the good deal, hoping not to be let down like those who bought Sleeping Dogs.

RealPhlik 1 April, 2013 @ 1:29 am   46

I have the same error that 30# had but the problem is that i´m from Portugal but i have an UK account, what must I do? It´s a Birthday Present and i´m only a Kid.

ghettokid1987 1 April, 2013 @ 6:42 am   47

What about missing additional discount for Plus subscribers for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier ?!

And why declared discounts correct only for UK ?

I anderstand that there is a difference between prices in different countries due to currency rate, but the percentage of discount obviously should be the same, am i right ?

BaBy-_-D3aN0 1 April, 2013 @ 10:40 am   48

I decided against my better judgement to give in and buy this, as it looks like a fun game on the vita. Didn’t want to pay as I know it will be free soon on PS+. Wish I hadn’t now. same problem as above. Yes the PS3 version probably works, but I have little to no interest in the PS3 version, bought it so I could play on my vita.

Sort it out. Been a loyal customer since the PS1, but the customer service this weekend has been disgusting.

gardjanguardian 1 April, 2013 @ 10:43 am   49

I just bought All-Stars and after that I see that people have the same errors just like me. Now I’m getting “c2-13270-3″ error.

I’m trying to re-download it and try to install it one more time and if that won’t work where do you apply/write for a refund? I would be grateful for an answer.

DiscworldDeath 1 April, 2013 @ 12:55 pm   50

The source of the error is likely seen in the store.

Go to the PS3 PSABR, says “Already purchased.”
Go to the Vita PSABR, it says “Unable to purchase” and when you click on “Tell me more” it tells you you already purchased it… so why isn’t it marked as “Already purchased” on the store page? Might be a different download as well >.>

Paquete89 1 April, 2013 @ 1:50 pm   51

Jesus, can’t you people just be patient for a little bit? It was the Eastern weekend…

It wold be nice if we had something appear as soon as you turn on the ps3 telling about the sales going on, maybe you could do that for the ps4. Something like a box appearing “hey, we have a spring sale going on, come check it out!”. It would be nice for unaware costumers and your profit

Joooooink 1 April, 2013 @ 2:05 pm   52

So I deleted the downloaded file and redownloaded, still same error.
Also downloaded the vita version to my ps3 and tried to copy it over through the content manager.
That didn’t work either, get a similiar error message when the transfer is about to be done.

Don’t think there is much more to try?

I mailed the support last night, guess an answer might take a while since it’s a holiday and all.

abcvita2012 1 April, 2013 @ 2:17 pm   53

i would like to purshase this just for the vita version. but i need a response from the guys here first

Calino0o 1 April, 2013 @ 2:18 pm   54

I bought All-Stars and I’m getting the“c2-13270-3″ error too. Please fix it :D Thank you.

    Fred Dutton 2 April, 2013 @ 12:08 pm

I’m chasing an update on this issue now and will have more information for you all very soon.

supersmith2500 1 April, 2013 @ 4:31 pm   55

Seriously guys at the Store team you need to sort this thing out. The Store is BUTCHERED with bugs, errors and glitches and it’s getting downright annoying as always and it happens like every month now.

I’m tire of your stupid glitches on the Store and I hate to say this. It’s getting real annoying and stupid for us now. We can’t even download All-Stars for Vita for pete sake. Not angry, just frustrated.

Neilos_89 1 April, 2013 @ 5:40 pm   56

Do I get the online pass of battle rotale too with the digital download egg hunt sale? Need to know before tomorrow :) thanks!

gardjanguardian 1 April, 2013 @ 5:58 pm   57

at 56: yes, you can download online pass with this purchase;

The only problem is that the game still doesn’t work (can’t install) on PS Vita system for most of users (I counted around 8-10 people on forums).

Kaspar_K 1 April, 2013 @ 7:13 pm   58

Would you kindly put the first bioshock on sale?

supersmith2500 1 April, 2013 @ 7:32 pm   59

I think offer 3 needs to be extended since people are having and not to mention. The Store is suffering problems…AGAIN!!

supersmith2500 1 April, 2013 @ 7:33 pm   60

@59:
Problems*

sigh, me and my spelling errors.

SuperUnknown79 1 April, 2013 @ 7:58 pm   61

Is the challenge to try find the content you want on the PS store?!!

SirAuron88 1 April, 2013 @ 9:25 pm   62

The All-Stars install bug is ridiculous, get a grip Sony.

gardjanguardian 1 April, 2013 @ 9:45 pm   63

@62: maybe that’s their idea of celebrating April’s Fool Day?

mh637099 2 April, 2013 @ 8:56 am   64

This is the EASIEST Egg Hunt on this entire planet.

You just have to scroll through pages and then it’s easy to spot the deal.

:)

mh637099 2 April, 2013 @ 8:58 am   65

Also if you access the Egg Hunt via the web store, it’s 10 million times easier!

ssorc_bro 2 April, 2013 @ 10:50 am   66

£16 for All-Stars ?! Awesome deal, bought it day one and it sure is fun considering I’m not much of a fan for fighters anymore.

A sale on the DLC at some point would be great, as £1.60 for a costume seems too much, let alone £12 for the complete pack, imo.

CHANG924 3 April, 2013 @ 8:50 pm   67

Any updates on if the error has been fixed?

Joooooink 4 April, 2013 @ 5:18 am   68

Haven’t heard anything about the C2-12383-7 error.

Anyone actually managed to install PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on the vita after buying it in this sale?

Worfthedog 4 April, 2013 @ 10:20 am   69

Same problem here.

Fred Dutton 8 April, 2013 @ 11:55 am   70

For any PlayStation Store customers who as part of the Egg Hunt Sale purchased PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale (made available on Sunday 31st March) and were unable through Cross-Buy to download the PS Vita version of the same game, we apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this issue has caused.

Those customers who purchased PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale as part of the Easter Egg Hunt sale and were affected by the faulty PS Vita entitlement will shortly receive a wallet refund for their purchase. We will reapply both the PS3 and PS Vita entitlements to each of these accounts via voucher redemption at no cost. Both games will appear at the top of the users’ Download List. Customers will have to delete that faulty PS Vita entitlement from their console and re-download the game from the Download List before they are able to play.

This solution will be available soon this week. We will confirm exact timings as soon as possible. It is really important to us that the best possible Store experience is delivered and we appreciate your patience as we resolve this matter.

Worfthedog 8 April, 2013 @ 12:28 pm   71

Thanks for the update Fred, great news!

I took a chance buying the game as it’s not a genre I play very often at all, very glad I did though. The PS3 version is most good & I’m looking forward the playing the PSV version too.

Keep up the good work.

Voodoo341 8 April, 2013 @ 2:24 pm   72

It’s misleading to say this is a refund. You still have to spend the money on the store. SCEE infringed your consumer rights by selling a product that wasn’t fit for purpose. They should offer you a full cash refund. It’s a dirty action again.

vincenth69 8 April, 2013 @ 5:35 pm   73

I don’t really understant this part :
Those customers who purchased PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale as part of the Easter Egg Hunt sale and were affected by the faulty PS Vita entitlement will shortly receive a wallet refund for their purchase. We will reapply both the PS3 and PS Vita entitlements to each of these accounts via voucher redemption at no cost.

Will the voucher give us a discount on the full price game or give us the game for free, leaving us 19.99€ on our account ?
The no cost lost me…

less-than-hero 8 April, 2013 @ 7:40 pm   74

Thanks for the update with PS All Stars. I activated a PS3 disc based copy of the game last Thursday and haven’t been able to get the game to install on my vita at all. Am I right in thinking we won’t get any form of compensation? (unfortunately bought the game online – and it shipped- 1 day before the Easter discount hit).

SirAuron88 8 April, 2013 @ 7:48 pm   75

Has anyone recieved the refund yet? Don’t want to sound like an ungrateful kid, but it’s just that the message said ‘shortly’…

- “It is really important to us that the best possible Store experience is delivered”

Seriously?
Does anyone from Sony actually use the store?
What has happened between the relaunch and now, it’s not usable any more. It’s lagging like an 90 year old until it doesn’t even take input, unless it decides to crash (around 50/50 chance).

I so want to believe all the good things that you want to do with the PS4, but if you can’t get the PS3 to a usable state I’m not so sure I can trust anything you promise with the PS4.
I mean, it’s just the store, right? The place where you are supposed to earn money, people want to pay you money but you make it hard for them. Stop making it hard for people to spend money on you!

Not complaining about that you refund people for this mistake, great move actually.

Calino0o 8 April, 2013 @ 9:00 pm   78

So if I read it right, I’m going to have a money refund and a free voucher to download the game again? So I get 19,99 € and the game?

Worfthedog 8 April, 2013 @ 10:32 pm   79

I’ve had my refund.

Gareth1979 8 April, 2013 @ 11:00 pm   80

Refund also arrived

MJdrama 8 April, 2013 @ 11:20 pm   81

No refund here yet. I bought the game during Egg Hunt sale with PS3 and tried moving it to the Vita and got this same error, I should be eligible, right?

Also as new owner of Vita, why cant I download youtube, netflix, Playstation mobile apps everywhere in the EU? Any updates on availability?

Just received my refund, but when I go to purchase the vita version again it’s tagged with £29.99 now with the refund of £15.99 surely it’s going to charge my card the extra £14 ?

msingermann 9 April, 2013 @ 12:03 am   83

I bought the all stars for vita the april 3 not during the Egg hunt sale and the vita version no the ps3. And i have the error too and still cant install it. Will i have the refund too?
(Sorry for may bad english i’m argentinian but got my account in Spain)

Gareth1979 9 April, 2013 @ 12:27 am   84

Cyasin,we dont have to repurchase the game they are going to re add them to our download lists in the coming days

Ahh thanks ^^
It confused me on how they were going about doing it.

Gareth1979 9 April, 2013 @ 8:16 am   86

Mine has been re added, going to download and check if its all ok

Gareth1979 9 April, 2013 @ 8:52 am   87

MJdrama 9 April, 2013 @ 11:19 am   88

Still no refund and only broken game in my download list dated 31/03/2013, should I be worried?

    Fred Dutton 9 April, 2013 @ 11:37 am

Please see my update above. This should be fixed today – apologies for your inconvenience.

jazza-67 9 April, 2013 @ 11:40 am   89

I’m still waiting too, just need to be patient I guess

msingermann 9 April, 2013 @ 1:43 pm   90

Will be that solution be applied to all the customers who have bought the faulty game or just to those who bought it as part of the Egg Hunt Sale as you said in your comment??

MJdrama 9 April, 2013 @ 10:28 pm   91

Nope, issue wasn’t fixed today. Broken game and empty wallet. Please fix this Sony, I want to play my damn game I bought 10 days ago!

jazza-67 10 April, 2013 @ 7:56 am   92

Any update on how the refunds and new downloads are progressing, I’m still waiting and starting to get impatient

marnothebest 10 April, 2013 @ 2:33 pm   93

yes,it starting to get annoying indeed… I’ve mailed sony and they told me this problem is fixed already…well nothing changed…Not done Sony…it’s taking waaaay too long for this huge bug

MJdrama 10 April, 2013 @ 3:00 pm   94

Another day, still uninstallable game, how about fixing this thing Sony?

Midgar777 10 April, 2013 @ 3:31 pm   95

I spoke to a SCEE representative earlier today and apparently the decision to give everyone a refund and the game for free was only agreed internally on the 8th so they are still working their way through all of the people that bought it.

As it was such a great deal I imagine the amount of people that bought it will be quite high so it might take them a few days to get the problem sorted. On the plus side you are getting a full refund and a free game so probably not fair to bitch about it (not that you all are ;D – just some people :3).

I’ve received my refund but I’ve not tried reinstalling it yet as I’m at work now – that’s my task for tonight, along with buying guacamelee :)

You’ll get your refunds shortly I’m sure :D

Examinus 10 April, 2013 @ 3:33 pm   96

Helpdesk Playstation Netherlands tells me they are still working on it. Let’s hope they fix it very soon after promising nice things.

marnothebest 11 April, 2013 @ 8:46 pm   97

Still no fix for Battle Royale in the Netherlands is there? =(

MJdrama 11 April, 2013 @ 8:47 pm   98

Am I the only one still waiting for game/refund? Can you give us some updates Fred?

jazza-67 12 April, 2013 @ 2:17 am   99

Your not the only one still waiting

MJdrama 12 April, 2013 @ 10:43 am   100

Ok, I am going to contact local consumer agency. I paid 20 euros for a game that doesn’t work. Sony doesn’t even bother to answer, crappiest customer service I have ever seen.

Examinus 12 April, 2013 @ 7:33 pm   101

Case send to Playstation Headquarters. Really hope it gets fixed now.
Also dutch helpdesk said i won’t get a refund.. Have to wait and see on that.

MJdrama 12 April, 2013 @ 7:41 pm   102

What is their email address Examinus? Finnish support is slow to answer emails, if they even answer at all, and their support number is paid line.

Examinus 13 April, 2013 @ 7:22 pm   103

I don’t know the e-mail. helpdesk forwarded the case. It’s a local number here so wasnt a problem calling them. Didnt get a reply yet so no info on it getting actualy fixed yet…
