THIS is the big summer sale?

This way retail will thrive for years to come!

chrisboers 31 July, 2013 @ 12:02 pm   2

Ah, that’s Retro City Rampage for me then! :-)
Sadly no Jak & Daxter trilogy….

MASPALOMAZ 31 July, 2013 @ 12:03 pm   3

AC3 or Max Payne 3 planned? Ty.

CreditDue 31 July, 2013 @ 12:04 pm   4

Will The Last of Us make it to the sale before the sale finishes?

chrisboers 31 July, 2013 @ 12:05 pm   5

Nice! (Will keep F5-ing then :-) )

Tagged_Deaf 31 July, 2013 @ 12:05 pm   6

Retro City Rampage for me, certainly!

Maybe Sniper 2 too, just maybe. :)

Nightmare966 31 July, 2013 @ 12:05 pm   7

Oi, that Injustice! Why I had to get it 2 weeks ago though. D’oh… :(

At least Rayman Origins is 9.99€

Bahamut_MW 31 July, 2013 @ 12:05 pm   8

Another disapointing sale… meanwhile US gets Max Payne 3 Ultimate Edition for 12$.

SammY_JC 31 July, 2013 @ 12:07 pm   9

Does this mean there’ll be nothing new in the way of sales until the 14th?

spatsnaz 31 July, 2013 @ 12:07 pm   10

How can you NOT have a WRC game available in Finland during Neste Rally? Boggles the mind.

Zomoniac 31 July, 2013 @ 12:07 pm   11

Pretty sure Sonic 4 Ep 1 was never £39.99.

Please give us a Max Payne 3 sale similar to America’s!

Jamesyp00 31 July, 2013 @ 12:08 pm   13

2 weeks of hyping up for this load of disappointment.

Also, when does the store update?

thomaas23 31 July, 2013 @ 12:08 pm   15

Persona bundle, coolio :) I started with P1 last week, so others in discount come handy :)

NoobBlast 31 July, 2013 @ 12:08 pm   16

The best sale for awhile, and i don’t complain. Even some VITA is added.

I waited for this to go on sale.
“MotorStorm 3D Rift”

I will also buy Superfrog HD which is released today, and probly more from the sale.

Taobaka 31 July, 2013 @ 12:09 pm   17

Ugh…nothing interesting again. Want Persona 1 though, but it’s still not avaiable in my country. >_<

hilts663 31 July, 2013 @ 12:10 pm   18

This could not be more disappointing… Some rubbish, below average games and some still more expensive then in stores

AndyBeans 31 July, 2013 @ 12:10 pm   19

Cheers for the update, just need to hear that PS+ is similarly pathetic and I can save myself the effort of waiting… for… the… Store… to… finally… load entirely this month!

Mardolina 31 July, 2013 @ 12:10 pm   20

Not that bad sale at all, although there is a lot of older games – but they are great. Nonetheless, is there any info on Terraria PSV?

Boy_Killer09 31 July, 2013 @ 12:11 pm   21

Is there any chance that Persona 4 The Golden for the Vita make it to the sale before the sale finishes or in the plus?

Thanks

    Chris Howe 31 July, 2013 @ 12:27 pm

Not at the moment, we tried but were unable to secure a dicount on it

phoReality 31 July, 2013 @ 12:11 pm   22

Sly Cooper Thieves in Time – only PS3-version?

    Chris Howe 31 July, 2013 @ 12:30 pm

No the VITA version is also on sale it’s just gone missing on the uploaded list, will get that rectified it will be down from €24.99 to €12.49 with an additional 10% for Plus members

Rancid_Undead 31 July, 2013 @ 12:11 pm   23

I’m confused. Is this the big summer sale that’s been teased for the last month?

This is summer festival ,not summer sale right!?

‘Sly Cooper Thieves in Time’ only £10.99? EVERYONE should buy & play that game because it was brilliant i thought :P

Rochala 31 July, 2013 @ 12:12 pm   26

Hey Chris a bit off topic questions.

Will the indie sales go on or does it stops today ?
Also can you consider please to make a discount for Sid Meier’s Pirates at PSP ?

    Chris Howe 31 July, 2013 @ 12:34 pm

The indie sales get refreshed every two weeks this will continue for the foreseable future, we are looking at a bigger Indie sale in the next couple of months as well but I can’t say when for sure

Arkeologen 31 July, 2013 @ 12:12 pm   27

Wait… when is the Summer sale starting?
Still waiting for the awesome deals…
These are just old old old games that have been on sale x number of times before.

No sale on Persona 4 Golden?

JO-AYNE 31 July, 2013 @ 12:13 pm   28

@Boy_Killer09
I’d like to know that too. I was expecting to see it at the bottom of the Persona list…

Fingers crossed for the 14th!

DestructorSVK 31 July, 2013 @ 12:13 pm   29

Wait a minute, this is not that big summer sale, right ? I want Max Payne 3 like in US

AndyBeans 31 July, 2013 @ 12:13 pm   30

Also, stop link-littering Google Plus, actually do some work by introducing your posts instead of firing them off without giving a crap. I report every link you drop as spam, learn to use Google+ properly or don’t use it at all!

Liam_Croft 31 July, 2013 @ 12:13 pm   31

Is this the big Summer Sale or what? Once again utter confusion on behalf of Sony. If this is the big Summer Sale, I cannot even begin to describe how disappointed I am.

BossDooley 31 July, 2013 @ 12:13 pm   32

need to stick a few funds in the wallet, o do tell? Is Jak coming PS Plus?

XR-NOFEAR17 31 July, 2013 @ 12:13 pm   33

These ‘Vita’ sale is almost exact the same as the one from a few weeks ago. I was hoping for more vita games.

Tagged_Deaf 31 July, 2013 @ 12:14 pm   34

This is not Summer Sales, it is just a Summer Festival section.

I think? ;)

Trine 2
Sly Cooper
Retro City
Draw Slasher
Urban Trial Freestyle
Sonic 4 Epi 1
are very attractive :)

But triple AAA-games for £ 9.99 would be very welcome. Maybe something for next week? ;)

xxDarkflowerX 31 July, 2013 @ 12:15 pm   36

Does that Castle Crashers discount apply to the Trial & Unlock version?

Because the Trial & Unlock version is available in New Zealand.

deathbytray1287 31 July, 2013 @ 12:15 pm   37

Is their any chance Persona 4 Golden and/or Ni No Kuni will go on sale soon?

Any chance that PS+ will be discounted at some point during this sale? I’d love to buy a year for £30 now that I’ve got my PS4 pre-ordered

    Chris Howe 31 July, 2013 @ 12:37 pm

No we won’t be doing a discount off the Plus membership in this sale

@phoRealty: PS3 version of Sly is Cross-buy.

BigBoyBanksy 31 July, 2013 @ 12:15 pm   40

How often are new deals going to be on the store during the sale?

luckysalt81 31 July, 2013 @ 12:16 pm   41

Sly is a good price £9.89 or whatever for PS3 and Vita versions as is Retro City Rampage for both for £3.99.

But disappointed in the sale overall.

alice_push_lara2 31 July, 2013 @ 12:16 pm   42

meh.. lame….

hilts663 31 July, 2013 @ 12:17 pm   43

Where is the Summer Sale? Your words: Huge savings on triple A games… I dont see any… I hope this is just the Summer Festival becose this is just baaaaad… It is better to create US account and leave those guys behind…

Disappointing. The usual mix of horrible games (Walkind Dead Survival Instinct), deals for games that we’ve already seen often enough or weak discounts.

Just RCR is remarkable, as some others already registered too. A disgrace considering that SCEA manages better deals OUTSIDE of their huge summer sale.

And no, another Persona 2 and 3 sale is no fitting replacement for a Persona 4 Golden sale, that several of us expected. And a sale they got several times by now in America. :(

Arkeologen 31 July, 2013 @ 12:17 pm   45

Again, is this the rumored Summer Sale or part of the Summer Festival?

We were supposed to get more information about the Summer Sale this week, so I am a bit confused.
Could you please confirm or deny if Summer Festival= Summer Sale, or if these are two different sales?

Grave_uk 31 July, 2013 @ 12:18 pm   46

Thanks, gonna get Retro City Rampage, was waiting for that :)

Is there any chance we might get Max Payne 3 Ulitimate Edition as cheap as US customers? Would love that.

Also can’t wait for next batch of sale, I hope there is also something for everyone, like this time!

MASPALOMAZ 31 July, 2013 @ 12:19 pm   47

Walking Dead Survival Instinct would be great at 10€ or below, I doubt its worth more than that. I suppose we do get out real summer sale today tho, they cant have teased that since weeks I am sure they will destroy steam & live today.

night_sign 31 July, 2013 @ 12:20 pm   48

Defiance?

Is Sly Cooper Thieves in Time cross buy?

Hi Chris

Sorry for disturbing you. I was wondering if you (or anyone else for that matter) knows if the Rocksmith addons requires an EU-version of the game to work or if an imported US-version will work with the DLC from the EU store? (I have read the text in the store, but it does not help me – unfortunately)
