Batman: Arkham Origins – PlayStation-exclusive Knightfall Pack detailed

Batman: Arkham Origins features a widely expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise– Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. The game showcases a young, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career. Players will encounter many important figures for the first time and forge crucial relationships that will shape the future of the characters. You’ll become Batman as he transforms from a vigilante crime fighter into the Dark Knight.

Debuting exclusively here on PlayStation Blog, our new trailer showcases two epic Batman skins: Knightfall Batman and Classic TV Series Batman. You’ll be able to fight enemies in these all-new Batsuits as well as immerse yourself in hours of additional crime-fighting fun.

Knightfall StickerBatman Arkham Origins: Classic TV Series Batman skin

Inspired by the events of the DC Comics Batman: Knightfall saga, the exclusive PlayStation Knightfall Pack features:

  • Knightfall Batman Skin
  • Classic TV Series Batman Skin
  • 5 Challenge Maps

You’ll fight Bane, Venom users, and Blackgate prisoners in a crime-ridden Gotham City, where Bane’s forces have seized control of several key locations where only Batman can stop them. Fight your way through three combat maps, stealth across two predator maps, and push yourself to the breaking point in a new challenge campaign.

Looking good. Can’t wait to play as the Knightfall version of Batman!

Will the challenge campaign be based on the story of Knightfall? Or is it an original ‘story’ (i.e. series of missions with a basic storyline linking the scenes, as in the Robin/Black Mask DLC for Arkham City)?

Cool costumes. Can’t say I was fond of the gameplay of the first two games though and the combat I found sluggish and headache-inducing (damn camera). And some of the characterization bugged me. I did give them enough tries though (owned both games twice somehow… for example Arkham City came with my new PS3 when I upgraded to a Slim and after selling that game I ended up getting it again for free on Plus). But yeah… nice costumes. The Adam West one doesn’t even look that out of place somehow.

loved the first game and got the plat :)

the second game i just cant get into for some reason, i think i liked the restrictive nature of the asylum.

ill try this title out but i think it will feel more like the second than the first.

The classic tv series costume looks surprisingly awesome, the Knightfall costume, however, looks like an early (rejected) draft of Toy Story’s Emperor Zurg. I don’t think that one will be getting much use from me. Still immensely looking forward to this game though, I loved the first two – platinumed them both.

is it like the joker dlc were you can just download it from psn or do you have to preorder it somewere

Adam West never had muscles like that! He looks a little taller, too. Perhaps The Joker has just stretched him on a rack or something.

Wow! The Az-Bats skin looks pretty awesome tbh. I have the collectors edition on pre-order, will these skins be added into that bundle or is this a seperate pack?
