Ratchet & Clank Nexus arrives this week, see the launch trailer

Hey everyone. It’s been an incredible seven years for us here at Insomniac on the PlayStation 3. And today celebrates that heritage with the release of our 10th game for the platform: Ratchet & Clank: Nexus.

The epilogue to our acclaimed Ratchet & Clank Future saga, this game is a love-letter to our fans. It gets back to the classic story-based Ratchet & Clank adventure, with brand new weapons, villain, planets, and an all-new story.

It’s a compact Ratchet adventure you can download via PSN or buy on Blu-ray disc for a great price of £19.99/€24.99. On top of that, all copies of the game come with an entitlement for a free download of Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest For Booty, so there’s even more value!

But don’t take my word for it. We’ve already gotten a ton of great reviews. Check out IGN and Destructoid for their takes on the game.

And after all of that, if you’re still on the fence, perhaps this awesome launch trailer will give you a push over the edge, and sway you to have one more go with Ratchet on your PS3.

We’re really excited to close out Ratchet’s PS3 era with a game that we made for our fans. We hope you love it. Head on over to the Insomniac forums, Twitter or Facebook account, or to the game website to let us know what you think!

Did you enjoy this?

Nope. They announced last week that its back to its original November release dates. Between 13th – 15th depending on which country you’re in. :)

A perfect game for the Vita and yet it will miss it, bad decision guys as I won’t get it on the ps3. Less money for you.

Awesome! I adore the R+C series and this seems to be a return to its roots, which I’m all for!
Fingers crossed for a R+C on PS4 at some point or better yet a return to the good ol’ Spyro series ;)

That won’t happen. Insomniac haven’t had ownership of the Spyro IP since 2000. It’s the same with Crash Bandicoot, developers have milked them, pushed them multi-platform and ruined them.

Finally got Ratchet Gladiator platinum!!! :D
Thanks for reminding me about this! Hopefully Ratchet and clank nexus will be my 7th ratchet and clank platinum.
Still havent played all 4 one (i know, shame on me) i promise i’ll pick it up sometome.
This game is gonna be well worth the 20 pounds.
More ratchet and clank games please! (ratchet and clank on ps4?) keep my ratchet and clank experience memories alive please!!!
Tomorrow is going to be awesome!

Sorry for saying this again but – PLZ bring R&C to PS4 to :P

+ Got the game on Pre-order so should get it this week(well got to finish off the Brilliant ‘The Last of Us’ 1st)

Can’t wait to play it. This is a must place for me.

I really hope we get a PS4 Ratchet game in the not so distance future.

love R&C, Nexus is looking very pretty and fun, nice to see its gone back to the more earlier ones. very tempted to pick it up, especially at that price :D.

When will news of the Vita version be announced? Are you having more success with your engine on Vita than the team who ported QForce? A lot of people suspect your engine just isn’t compatible with Vita.

25€ for 4 hours of gameplay is a bit steep considering the last 2 R&C offerings weren’t really overwhelming…

Getting this for sure, but I would’ve prefered a full length loveletter ;) Unless you guys are working on a ps4 R&C :p

Have it pre-ordered, look forward to playing through it over the weekend, ToD and ACiT were great.

I hear an Insomniac intern that worked on this game lost her leg. :(

The news is here:

Maybe if someone here would like to donate to help her you should check out the link
