Weekend Debate: Your proudest gaming achievement (Update)

License to brag! Join the conversation for a chance to win TxK on PS Vita

UPDATE: Thanks for getting involved this week folks. Some top-drawer bragging in here! The following five posters walk away with a code for TxK on PS Vita: coisou, solarwind12, FluffyPloo, MyNameIsAdam and Kalamoj. Look out for a PM to your ID on the official forums a little later this week.
ORIGINAL COPY: So, this week I’ve been enjoying Llamasoft‘s brilliant, barmy old-school shoot ’em up TxK on PS Vita. Ever since I first picked up a joystick, I’ve always been a dedicated high-score chaser – and Jeff Minter’s Tempest update scratches that itch perfectly. It takes a little time to get to grips with its systems (check out our beginner’s guide for a leg-up) but once you’ve got the hang of it, it perfectly mines that rich ‘one more go’ seam that all the greats tap into.
Which brings me to this week’s debate topic. TxK isn’t really about reaching a pre-set goal, completing a story or beating a boss. It’s about doing better than you did the last time – and, crucially, doing better than everyone else and climbing the leaderboards. It’s the perfect title for those who like a good brag about their skills (or lack of them, in my case).
So my question to you: What’s your proudest ‘look at me’ gaming moment?
An outrageous couch co-op success in Street Fighter? A perfect Spelunky run? A month-long Call of Duty killstreak? Sound off below.
The prize for the five most entertaining responses this week, is a download code for – you guessed it – TxK on PS Vita. For the initiated, check out the brand new trailer below.
