Not all la noire dlc are downloadable with la noir pass. That sucks

LordRastan 19 March, 2014 @ 11:36 am   2

Great discounts!!!

Please allow me to ask a couple of questions:

Is there any deal of the week for vita today?
anything new about the IGC games for april?

Thanks!

    Fred Dutton 19 March, 2014 @ 1:29 pm

The DotW is not a Vita game this week, though there are a few Vita indie discounts starting today. See Store post later this afternoon for details.
April IGC – this will be announced next week

Probably half of people reading that post is wondering if Max Pane 3 is coming to P+?

    Fred Dutton 19 March, 2014 @ 1:30 pm

There are no immediate plans at present but that’s not to say it won’t happen in the future.

darkdudes_2 19 March, 2014 @ 11:41 am   4

pls bring killzone mercenary to the sale

Max Payne 3 for me! :)

Faustofausto 19 March, 2014 @ 11:44 am   6

Have you seen the US deals? GTA:SA £5.49 for UK gamer, $3.59/$4.49 for US gamers. Wow…
And not additional discount for Plus subscribers? Wow…

Tagged_Deaf 19 March, 2014 @ 11:47 am   7

Mmm, nothing for me, expect for Bully and Red Dead Revolver, probably.

Not too bad sales for anyone who hadn’t played that games through.

fps_d0minat0r 19 March, 2014 @ 11:48 am   8

Cool, might get the Max Payne 3 Pass.
The lack of Red Dead Redemption all but confirms their lack of intention to fix the servers.

And of course nothing for Vita.

Never liked GTA games, not that their are bad, just not for my taste.

I would like this sale a lot more if i wasn’t aware that we’re paying almost 3X more for these games than the US is in their Spring Fever Sale right now. Also, if anyone at SCEE is wondering if they can get away with putting Thomas Was Alone in our IGC again to coincide with it turning up in US’s offering; you can’t :P

I’m confused. What’s the difference between “episodes from liberty city”, “GTA IV Episodes Bundle” and “GTA IV complete edition”?
I thought episodes from liberty city was both the dlcs and the complete edition was the game plus the dlcs, so what is the other one.

Haha it’s amazing just how negative these comments always are. 50%+ discount on a bunch of really good games. Great update and keep it up guys, just think of all the people you make happy who unfortunately don’t comment.

Vita, another week in paradi… oops, no.

Icarus_dgt 19 March, 2014 @ 12:05 pm   14

Not a fan of GTA but great sale! Here’s hoping for a VITA Deal of the Week.

Where are Midnight Club, RDR and LA Noire for PS3?

ShivaRpgN 19 March, 2014 @ 12:22 pm   16

The past few weeks have been very boring. Nothing but AAA western shooters aimed at a specific audience. Oh and no vita games of course.

    Jawad Ashraf 19 March, 2014 @ 2:06 pm

We’re looking at Vita only titles in the near future wherever possible.

Alphaembryo 19 March, 2014 @ 12:23 pm   17

Nothing special here. In fact, much worse than the US deals. No psn+ discounts whatsoever. Very disappointing.

This is what I’d like to see in the near future:

Rayman Legends: less than 15€**
Diablo III: less than 19€
Grand Theft Auto V: less than 29€
Gran Turismo 6: less than 29€
Sonic Generations: less than 9€
The Last of Us: less than 18€
F1 2013 classic ver: less than 19€
RESIDENT EVIL 6: less than 9€

    Fred Dutton 19 March, 2014 @ 1:32 pm

F1 2013 is our deal of the week, as it happens, and you’ll have plenty of change left over from €19 :)

Jawad, can you explain what’s the difference between “Episodes from Liberty City”, “GTA IV Episodes Bundle” and “GTA IV Complete Edition”?

crusher915 19 March, 2014 @ 12:33 pm   19

I was hoping for Red Dead Redemption but oh well… unless they can knock the standard price down to something more acceptable for game of that age

@AJ_85 I’ve found out the difference for myself. the first two: “episodes” and “episodes bundle” are actually exactly the same thing, it’s just they’re trying to sell one for 70p more than the other. Shame on sony/Rockstar

What about discounts on Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire like the US had? :(

I’m not a fan of GTA but I could have been tempted with a discount on their latest game ;)

LA Noir is the only Rockstar Game I still need to try out. Too bad it isn’t discounted. Nothing for me this time which is just as well since Second Son arrives friday! :D

UK_Rocklance 19 March, 2014 @ 12:43 pm   23

Didn’t you already run a Rockstar sale very recently? I remember buying GTA 4 completed edition at £7.19 (now it’s £7.99).

Maybe it’s unfair to compare US and UK/Europe prices, but US is running a GTA sale this week too. Take GTA 4 for example (just the main game, no DLC), UK sale price is £5.49, US sale price is US$5.99 (~£3.60), or US$4.79 (~£2.88) for Plus members.

Asia store is also running a Rockstar sale (though they don’t have GTA in their sale). Take Max Payne 3 for example (again just the main game, no additional DLC), UK sale price is £5.99, Asia sale price is HK$52 (~£4.03).

Don’t tell me the UK prices are 50-90% higher due to tax. And I am not even comparing Euro price to US/Asia (Euro prices are always higher than £).

Europe store used to have the best sale and PS Plus IGC among all the regions. This hasn’t been the case for at least the past 6 months. What’s going on?

evil123dead 19 March, 2014 @ 12:46 pm   24

What time does the savings start in the UK ? because the GTA IV: The complete edition still showing as £24.99, the time is 12:46.

    Fred Dutton 19 March, 2014 @ 1:33 pm

They should be going live any time now. Store generally updates at around 2pm GMT.

That’s a shame, was hoping for LA Noire Rockstar Pass.

ChurchOfSeth 19 March, 2014 @ 12:52 pm   26

@dant99 actually the “episodes bundle” needs the full version of GTAIV to play, the “GTA Episodes from Liberty City” is a standalone game which doesn’t need the full game.

CPC_6128 19 March, 2014 @ 12:59 pm   27

No LA Noire on offer? Booo!

stvlite 19 March, 2014 @ 1:08 pm   28

Wasn’t the ban on Manhunt 2 lifted in Ireland in 2007? It says so on the IFCO wikipedia page. So we can’t buy this game because why, exactly?

wils_69nd_u 19 March, 2014 @ 1:17 pm   29

Nice sale lots of decent games! I think it’s wrong to compare prices from other regions, there are so many economical factors to take into consideration rather then just a straight “Oh it works out £1 cheaper in the US”. The GTA games are worth that much for the soundtracks alone, excellent value. Vote with your wallet that’s what gets results.

bruno-116 19 March, 2014 @ 1:17 pm   30

Strange pricing scheme

Grand Theft Auto IV now £5.49

Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony now £3.99
Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned now £3.99

GTA Episodes from Liberty City now £4.79
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City includes both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony together and does not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play.

GTA IV Episodes Bundle now £5.49
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City includes both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony
To use this download, you will need Grand Theft Auto IV, product code BLES-00229.
Please check the product code of your copy of Grand Theft Auto IV before purchasing

GTA IV: The Complete Edition now £7.99
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition includes Grand Theft Auto IV and the episodes – The Lost and Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Lol :)

VisaliGP 19 March, 2014 @ 1:19 pm   31

@dant99: I am 99% sure GTA IV Episodes Bundle means downloading the two DLCs together, and it requires original Grand Theft Auto IV game to play. It is categorized as add-on contet, and it needs 4GB free space on hard drive.

GTA Episodes from Liberty City is the pack containing both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, but it doesn’t require GTA IV to play, and exclusive songs from disc release are included. It needs 7.8GB freee space.

GTA IV: The Complete Edition contain the full trilogy: TLAD, TBoGT, and also GTA IV.

@churchofseth: so it’s cheaper and doesn’t actually require the game to play? Lol.

superpatchy66 19 March, 2014 @ 1:29 pm   33

Nothing for the Vita again.

I hope however that the deal of the week will be exclusively for the Vita. Bet it isn’t though.

Porcupeth00 19 March, 2014 @ 1:33 pm   34

Any updates on when Ground Zeroes will be available on EU store? Midnight or only during the day tomorrow?

Porcupeth00 19 March, 2014 @ 1:36 pm   35

I mean the PS4 version, of course

bob_jsus 19 March, 2014 @ 1:42 pm   36

Hi guys, with the ban on Manhunt 2 having been lifted by IMCO several years ago, is there a chance that this long sought after title will be available in Ireland?

A sale on a 6 year old game? Glad I waited for this one. I’ll admit the Max payne 3 offer is good but the rest isn’t great considering its age (it’s all been cheaper elsewhere in the past). And price comparisons with US discounts are just embarrassing for Sony – aside from VAT you could at least offer some kind of pricing parity- otherwise i’ll just ebay/amazon a US PSN top up card and purchase form the US store.

Alphaembryo 19 March, 2014 @ 2:46 pm   38

@Fred Dutton

I specifically say ”F1 2013 classic ver: less than 19€”, but the deal of the week is the regular ver for €14.99 plus additional 10% PS Plus discount. Still, the F1™ 2013: The Classic Edition Upgrade costs €11.99. Now, €13.50+€11.99=€25, 49, which is not less than €19.

Alphaembryo 19 March, 2014 @ 2:50 pm   39

Are there any plans to give a (massive) discount on that shameless F1™ 2013: The Classic Edition Upgrade any time soon?

Devils_Demon 19 March, 2014 @ 3:46 pm   40

Why is Manhunt 2 not available in Ireland? I’m a big boy (32), I’m sure I can handle its violence.

Rikske54 19 March, 2014 @ 3:59 pm   41

I can’t see (page not found) Red Dead Revolver and Midnight Club 3 in my store (Belgium).

Fred Dutton19 March, 2014 @ 1:33 pm

They should be going live any time now. Store generally updates at around 2pm GMT.

Store still not updated. It generally gets updated too late if your info is correct Fred.

Fred Dutton28 February, 2014 @ 2:00 pm

Chris can confirm, but I believe it’s one update ever calendar month.

Plus update on 29th of Jan. , 5th of March and prolly 3rd of April. Didnt they teach you February is a calendar month also Fred?

Fred Dutton19 June, 2013 @ 1:56 pm

Glad to hear you’re happy with the service! The two PS Vita ‘evergreen’ titles will be swapped out a little later in the year.

It’s the 19th of March in case you didnt notice Fred.

Valkenhayn-1 19 March, 2014 @ 4:16 pm   44

So, how about actually putting up the discounts? still not seeing them and i do want to give you guys my money here.

Alphaembryo 19 March, 2014 @ 4:21 pm   45

Kudos to WizzNL for digging up those references.

Hazard1301 19 March, 2014 @ 4:46 pm   46

Nearly three hours later and nothing. Will there be any extra discount on these for PS+ subscribers?

Valkenhayn-1 19 March, 2014 @ 4:49 pm   47

I doubt we’ll be getting anything, wish they would’ve learned from the mistakes the US made a week ago, but alas, we dont even get word on it.

AshesArise 19 March, 2014 @ 5:05 pm   48

5:04pm as I’m typing this and the offers are STILL not there…would of been nice to announce it when the updates were live, I’m wanting that episodes from liberty city pack

TerrorOfDeath86 19 March, 2014 @ 5:37 pm   49

So, this sale is approximately 85% not available in Saudi Arabia and UAE. Any alternatives for us?

@WizzNL
Don’t be childish. Just because they didn’t release any games within February doesn’t mean that they missed to deliver games for any month. Did you guys never subscribe to any monthly magazines?

The late store updates are indeed for shame though. It’s getting later and later.
