nice. almost as good as the nintendo & xbox deals.

    DIEpony 14 May, 2014 @ 1:08 pm

must-buys: Dead Island, Peace Walker HD (supports mp3 custom soundtrack feature), Metal gear Solid 1

    BaneyFunny 14 May, 2014 @ 2:26 pm

Carnivores HD is also great at 5 bucks if you like Dinos and supports the custom soundtrack feature too.

    andrewsqual 14 May, 2014 @ 6:35 pm

That is some seriously dedicated trolling right there mate. Waiting around Sony’s official blog, that actually allows feedback and comments, just so you can get in there first with your PSN account you created on the SEN website. Well you clearly have nothing else to do with your life. ^_^

    BaneyFunny 15 May, 2014 @ 10:05 am

i sometimes ask me whats worse. Videogame trolls. Or videogame fanboys.

Pemberton_ 14 May, 2014 @ 1:05 pm   2

Nice, was waiting for Age of Zombies to drop again.

    solarwind12 14 May, 2014 @ 5:46 pm

May (no pun intnd) grab that as well, also some advice to anyone thinking of grabbing RE4, get the bundle, as you get extra game (C Veronica) for exact same price, why they had that on store is confusing, but thats how they’ve had it.

Speedfreak_R 14 May, 2014 @ 1:06 pm   3

Weird. So many titles, yet nothing appeals to me (or I already own them). Keep it up though!

    Archacus 14 May, 2014 @ 1:14 pm

Sadly I have the same problem :/… well but maybe I will grab some titles after all… I will think about Toukiden maybe but I will need to compare price in retail shop first

CShasuki 14 May, 2014 @ 1:06 pm   4

LOL @ EA Game prices. Nice sale besides.

    BennyJ94 14 May, 2014 @ 6:39 pm

    it’s EA, it’s expected

    BaneyFunny 15 May, 2014 @ 10:06 am

Always easy to hit on EA eh? When its Activision who puts 5 year old games in a sale at $30 or $20 still

DjangoDiabolik 14 May, 2014 @ 1:06 pm   5

Good deals on the Resident Evil Series. And even better is that they’re the NTSC versions.

Is there any chance of ever getting more NTSC versions of PSX games?

Robanthegiant 14 May, 2014 @ 1:07 pm   6

Great sale! Might pick up Ride to Hell for the Lolz!

Any chance of Towerfall going in to the sale soon?

    gijs_suy 19 May, 2014 @ 6:35 pm

Don’t pick up Ride to Hell, it was the worst game of 2013. In the Easter Sale it was 14 bucks and now its about 3 ,so thats how desperate they are

X_Blood_Curse_X 14 May, 2014 @ 1:09 pm   7

Toukiden for £15 is kinda tempting, also Yu Gi Oh on Vita is a PSP game, no?

    Primal_Link 14 May, 2014 @ 2:08 pm

It is but apprently its only compatible with PSP according to the online store (annoying me as heck as i still have that old save from before i made the upgrade to VIta)

    ThugETH 14 May, 2014 @ 2:24 pm

Did you know Toukiden is getting a rerelease like Soul Sacrifice Delta?
I stopped playing it when I found out.

    Archacus 14 May, 2014 @ 3:03 pm

    @ThugETH

Mister I cannot thank you enough! I was so close to spending money on game that will be once again released… and they will want us to pay for it once again…

    THANK YOU!

Now with that said… without toukiden this sale is bad…

    jokerduo3 14 May, 2014 @ 3:10 pm

Damn I was hoping that YuGiOh was playable on PS Vita.

Robanthegiant 14 May, 2014 @ 1:09 pm   8

Theme Hospital and Park compatible on Vita?

    Ramases_Niblick 14 May, 2014 @ 1:14 pm

I have both games and am unable to transfer them to the Vita so I’m afraid not :-(

Jarskaaja 14 May, 2014 @ 1:09 pm   9

Does MGS Portable Ops work on Vita? I got Legacy Collection on PS3 and Rising from Plus, so that’s the only “canon” game I’m missing.

    DjangoDiabolik 14 May, 2014 @ 1:12 pm

It does. It didn’t work for Americans for a long time for whatever reason, but always has for us.

    Edge_PT 14 May, 2014 @ 6:36 pm

Portable Ops is canon? I thought that only MGS 1-4, Ground Zeroes and Peace Walker were canon…

    mike_291990 14 May, 2014 @ 9:09 pm

    Yes and no, Edge_PT.
The overall story is canon. Kojima even references it in later releases.
However, minor details are not canon. (there’s some interview with Kojima where he states this)

Leylifer 14 May, 2014 @ 1:10 pm   10

Please give a discount for Danganronpa!

    OtakuD 15 May, 2014 @ 9:35 am

Waiting for this too, damn US getting sales that make me envious! :(

    X_Blood_Curse_X 14 May, 2014 @ 1:18 pm

I would have gone to town on some of those Atlus games for $5.

    Nevermind :(

    Tuulenpoika 14 May, 2014 @ 1:23 pm

I would be glad if we even HAD all those Atlus PSP JRPGs here… I hope Sony could do some sort of import release on those missing games on European PSN, especially Yggdra Union. That game is just too cool not to have available here.

    TimeSkipLuffyUS 14 May, 2014 @ 1:23 pm

+ you don’t have to pay VAT if you buy digital PSN cards from Amazon and pay them :D

    Archacus 14 May, 2014 @ 1:32 pm

Some of other sale offers (older) from US PSN

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles – 14 Euro (+ members 7 euro)
    Time and Eternity – 9.5 euro (+members 5.3 euro)
    Soul Calibru V – 7 euro (+ members 3.5 euro)
    Persona 4G – 14 euro (+members 10 euro)
    Muramasa Rebirth – 9 euro (+members 5.3 euro)
Ys: Memories of calceta – 19 euro (+members 14 euro)
    Arcania – 3.5 euro
    Bioshock – 3.5 euro
    Bioshock 2 – 3.5 euro
    Datura – 3.5 euro
    GTA IV – 3.5 euro
    Mortal Kombat – 3.5 euro
Red Dead Redemption – 3.5 euro
    Braid – 0.7 euro
Crash Bandicoot series – each game 0.7 euro
    Red Faction 1/2 – each game 0.7
Spyro series – each game 0.7 euro
When Viking Attack – 0.7 euro
Tales of Monkey Island – 0.7 euro

As you can see some of games are close to american offers…. but without + discount. I mean Soul Calibur for 3.5 EUR or Muramasa for 5.3 EUR…

After all I’m bit disappointed again… well maybe will grab Okami and Toukiden… but dunno :/

    Archacus 14 May, 2014 @ 1:33 pm

    @TimeSkipLuffyUS

Yeah I agree… but I support only European Market. Buying from ur PSN creates illusion that US PSN is bigger and more important, that’s why they bring you better offers than we have.

But everyone have right to decide.

    BaneyFunny 15 May, 2014 @ 10:08 am

this does not make sense plus we had dishonored and hitman trilogy and others already in better sales

Tuulenpoika 14 May, 2014 @ 1:11 pm   12

Very nice sale, thanks for those few PSP games! Also, Stranger’s Wrath on Vita with that price, must-buy.

king_Mark_XNIRX 14 May, 2014 @ 1:11 pm   13

No Persona 3 sale like the US got?

XtianHawkGamer 14 May, 2014 @ 1:12 pm   14

Meh nothing interests me.

evilwitch83 14 May, 2014 @ 1:13 pm   15

No plus discounts yet again. Lame Sale.

    Nasty_Rory 14 May, 2014 @ 2:47 pm

The Plus Discounts seem to have always happened in late June and Sept time. June because it was started in June/July and Sept as lots have renewals then due to the 3 months free after the Outage.

    Alphaembryo 14 May, 2014 @ 10:47 pm

    @Nasty_Rory
Although what you say seem to be true, I think evilwitch83 is referring to the inferior (compared to US) or nonexistent plus discount on the items on sale.

    Alphaembryo 14 May, 2014 @ 10:49 pm

    @Nasty_Rory
Although what you say seem to be true, I think the original poster is referring to the inferior (compared to US) or nonexistent plus discount on the items on sale.

BrAdAZ360XD 14 May, 2014 @ 1:14 pm   16

Does Yugioh Tag Force 5 Work on the PSVita?? As on web store only lists it as available for the PSP

Babbajabba 14 May, 2014 @ 1:15 pm   17

A bit cheeky that they put the battlefield games in there considering EA is switching off the servers of those games in 6 weeks. Cyrisis 2 as well I believe. Buyer beware! Check the list of 50 EA games that are shutting the online portion off before purchase.

    dcdfan 14 May, 2014 @ 1:43 pm

Crysis 2 seems to have been saved, but I’ve read contradicting statements about Guardians of Middle-Earth. Since all its trophies are online based you may stay away…

    Sicmay 14 May, 2014 @ 1:51 pm

If you actually checked the list yourself you’d see that both those fb games are unaffected and crysis 2 is shutdown on PC only

    Archacus 14 May, 2014 @ 3:10 pm

also like @ThugETH Toukiden is supposed to get re-release, so most probably gamers will have to buy game once again to get access to new content.

    So don’t be suprised guys.

Golwar 14 May, 2014 @ 1:15 pm   18

Almost looks like a complete collection of former IGC titles. ;)

Only game that interested me was Sleeping Dogs. And that one still isn’t available for Germany. Kudos Square-Enix. I understand that you had not enough time to get the german version into the store yet.

devvil01 14 May, 2014 @ 1:15 pm   19

Nice!
Any chance we see Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on sale for the vita ??
Cheers

    LieutenantFatman 14 May, 2014 @ 11:46 pm

I don’t think they’re allowed to sell that game any more unfortunately. I recall something about Capcom’s licence running out.

Eldave0-UK 14 May, 2014 @ 1:17 pm   20

Perfect timing! My Vita arrived in the post yesterday and I’m looking to buy some games for it. Couple of quick questions: 1) How long does the sale last? Buying the Vita has cleared out my disposable income until pay day but I don’t want to miss some of these deals. 2) Do PS1 games work on Vita? Would love to download the RE collection and Tomb Raider 2 to it. Thanks!

    solarwind12 14 May, 2014 @ 2:15 pm

Can confirm the RE collection works, though there has been few problems with RE2 working, then not, i believe it is back working now though, guessing you will have fair amount of plus titles saved up as well?. top bit of kit (vita) find the ‘right’ game for it and you will never put it down..

    lumoplusjess 14 May, 2014 @ 2:18 pm

Normally the sale shows how long it lasts, weird that this one doesn’t.
Most (but not all) ps1 games work on vita. If you can see it in the vita store then its going to be compatible. You should be able to see on the web store if the game is compatible with ps vita or just ps3 and psp.

    Eldave0-UK 14 May, 2014 @ 2:45 pm

Thanks for the replies. Yep, got a few PS+ titles queued up (Muramasa, Hotline Miami, Everybody’s Golf, Guacamelee, Thomas Was Alone). Those should keep me occupied for a while but am very tempted by Limbo, RE and a few others :)
Looking on the PSN store online it looks like the sale will run until 5th June,

RainyDusk 14 May, 2014 @ 1:18 pm   21

No extra discount for PS+ Owners?
That’s underwhelming.

    crashb648 14 May, 2014 @ 1:25 pm

I was wondering that too. Maybe they will add it to the blog post later? Maybe?

    RainyDusk 14 May, 2014 @ 1:31 pm

Don’t think so. Sales are already on, but no signs of PS+ discounts.
    This need some explanation.

    X_Blood_Curse_X 14 May, 2014 @ 2:08 pm

    @RainyDusk

Toukiden has a PS+ discount, can’t see any others though. Maybe more will be added? Wishful thinking? Lol

    MrT820 14 May, 2014 @ 9:06 pm

Weird that there’s no discount, especially as it’s normally only 10% (unlike North America’s 50%), it wouldn’t exactly hurt them to have it.

TheCodist 14 May, 2014 @ 1:18 pm   22

Too bad I only own a PS4.

    CShasuki 14 May, 2014 @ 1:29 pm

But you can have a PS4 EA game , reduced from €200,000 to €100,000. Bargain!

infernalmonkey1 14 May, 2014 @ 1:19 pm   23

The Persona games are split between different publishers in Europe, so good luck ever expecting a Persona sale like America got. :(

kid_Jump94 14 May, 2014 @ 1:20 pm   24

toukiden is pretty good :p

    Archacus 14 May, 2014 @ 3:12 pm

Yes but like @ThugETH said it will be re-released and than you will have to buy it once again to get access to new content.

    WearingFin 14 May, 2014 @ 4:37 pm

Toukiden Extreme hasn’t even got a release date in Japan yet, let alone a US or EU release date. For €20 it’s worth experiencing and you can be safe in the knowledge that the updated version won’t be out for at least 3 months (plus will cost double for a game you might not even like!)

    Archacus 15 May, 2014 @ 7:36 am

    @WearingFin

Hell I love when people from rich countries think that everyobody else is as rich as them…

No if I want to test game I download DEMO, I’m not going to buy game if year from now they are going to re-release exactly the same game but with extra content. It is still half the price of new game (or if you like price of 1 older game)

Toukiden Kyoku will be released this year in Japan, so we will get it in 2015. I’m patient, I’d rather wait than buy twice the same.

    20EUR is still lot’s of money…

WizKaz 14 May, 2014 @ 1:20 pm   25

That is really great! The only games I am interested in, are not available in Germany! Just… awesome…

HazelAM 14 May, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   26

i’m almost tempted to buy Ride To Hell: Retribution, out of morbid curiosity.
but i probably wont’. ^_^

i may end up picking something up though.

    KaneTheGoth 14 May, 2014 @ 1:59 pm

lol! I have the same sadistic curiosity regarding Ride to Hell; it’s cheap at least!

JinkJones 14 May, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   27

Nice sale, i didn’t even know capcom vs snk 2 was on ps3 and discounted? Yes please! I had to hook up my ps2 everytime. My life is complete.

Tanithfirst 14 May, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   28

I know I won’t be the first (or last) to say this, but PS4 discounts must be better if Sony wants to make more sales… You can’t discount something down to the price of the buying the disc in a store and expect people to buy it! There needs to be more offers like with Thief and Tomb Raider a few months ago, which were almost half price – they’ll make a lot more sales if they make the discount worthwhile… *climbs off soapbox*

irish-sid 14 May, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   29

Was hoping for a trials fusion discount :(

PHEEliNUX 14 May, 2014 @ 1:23 pm   30

Nice sale but… 100ish sale on games that doesn’t interest me(Or I have like with Okami)

madmanwithabox12 14 May, 2014 @ 1:24 pm   31

Awesome stuff, will definitely be picking up Silent Hill PS1 classic for that price. :D

No PSP Persona games though :(

    xion1116 17 May, 2014 @ 3:24 pm

That will probably happen about the same time Persona 2 returns to the store…

crashb648 14 May, 2014 @ 1:24 pm   32

lots of great discounts here, thanks for the hard work!

However, Im gutted that none of the classic crash bandicoot or spyro the dragon titles are on sale. Will there be on sale any time soon? Im sure its been about a year since they were discounted (except crash 1 a few weeks ago)

    BennyJ94 14 May, 2014 @ 6:44 pm

I’m waiting for both those games too, was very annoyed to see them in a sale for the US but not EU not too long ago!

Alphaembryo 14 May, 2014 @ 1:24 pm   33

Nothing for me on this one.

Sales I d like to see:

Diablo III: less than 19€
Grand Theft Auto V: less than 27€
Gran Turismo 6: less than 27€
The Last of Us: less than 18€
Resident Evil 6: less than 8€
Dark Souls II: less than 25€
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: less than 6€
FEZ: less than 5€

    BaneyFunny 15 May, 2014 @ 10:09 am

    >Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: less than 6€

    good luck on that :D

JadoreSox 14 May, 2014 @ 1:25 pm   34

Lol is that a sale? Same bunch of ancient games that been reduced a million times before.

    BaneyFunny 15 May, 2014 @ 10:10 am

Sony needs money. They will soon find out recycling the same sales over and over will drop their revenue

fps_d0minat0r 14 May, 2014 @ 1:25 pm   35

Why is the walking dead 400 days DLC on its own never on sale for the PS3?

    Nogiec 14 May, 2014 @ 2:02 pm

True, and on ipad version you have it with season pass, on ps3 not;/

Roelliej 14 May, 2014 @ 1:26 pm   36

I’d love to buy some games like The Bureau: XCOM Declassified and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 but some of those titles are just bound to end up in the PS+ IGC, making me feel like an idiot chasing after these discounts… Are there ANY titles in here that are going to end up in the IGC in the next 2-3 months, Jawad?

    KaneTheGoth 14 May, 2014 @ 2:01 pm

XCOm possibly, but now we’ve lost our third PS3 game I would guess BFBC2 to be a safe purchase. Just my uneducated opinion, of course :)

    BaneyFunny 15 May, 2014 @ 10:11 am

    lol

CorrisD 14 May, 2014 @ 1:28 pm   37

Please for the love of games can you guys talk to EA and make their games Vita compatible here in the UK.

As your recent glitch has shown these PS1 Classics will play on the Vita just fine, they are also compatible on the Vita in the US. I would love to give you guys my money for these older titles, but unless I can play them on the move I find no urge to buy them. From Command & Conquer to Theme Park, Theme Hospital to Future Cop, I want to play these games again, and I can’t say I understand why people don’t want my money for something that as shown can be done with the click of a button on your side.

    solarwind12 14 May, 2014 @ 2:22 pm

But thats one of sen’s bones for US market, as in we give you proper service, while them EU people Have to make do with the crumbs from Your tables, so yes, even though it IS easy, and already in US, don’t mean us peasants here can have it.

JorporMark 14 May, 2014 @ 1:29 pm   38

Will we EVER get Dragon’s Crown (Vita) on sale? The US sales are killing the EU sales lately…

pinkplaybunny 14 May, 2014 @ 1:31 pm   39

Only ep 1 of season 2 of TWD on sale? :-( no sale…

yarik-raider 14 May, 2014 @ 1:31 pm   40

Why so many PS One classics are not available in Ukraine?…
I’m STILL waiting for Command & Conquer Red Alert , Tomb Raider, Theme Hospital, Oddworld for my PS Vita =(

Izorpo 14 May, 2014 @ 1:36 pm   41

not trying to be funny but 108 titles doesn’t make 100′s…would have been better to say over a 100 titles on offer, that is unless you plan on adding more titles at a later date. 100′s indicates plural like 200 or 300 etc

    Jawad Ashraf 14 May, 2014 @ 2:08 pm

All I can say is I did not write this tag line!

    DIEpony 14 May, 2014 @ 2:19 pm

Nobody at Sony ever is to blame even the web store says its the internets fault when you click a dead link :D Still hoping for 100s of more sales in the PS Store Update post.

    Izorpo 14 May, 2014 @ 2:35 pm

There is a lot to be said for proof reading…otherwise this seems to be falling into the plot of that old Kurt Russell film Used Cars

BigBoyBanksy 14 May, 2014 @ 1:37 pm   42

Seems odd that there is no PS+ discount like normal. Also there is a lot of games here but not much takes my fancy. Will more than likely pick up season 1 of walking dead on ps3 after finishing it on vita.
After that I’m almost tempted by ride to hell just so I can laugh at it

eddibhoy 14 May, 2014 @ 1:37 pm   43

Any chance of a discount on the Tomba games on ps1?

NOSAJ19 14 May, 2014 @ 1:37 pm   44

Lots of great deals, but I was really hoping that the Gex trilogy from the PS One Classics range would have been on sale. Still, lots of great deals and I will definitely be looking at some of them at their reduced prices, but can you please try and get the Gex trilogy added to the PS One price reductions, please? Pretty please?!

tenshi_alpha 14 May, 2014 @ 1:39 pm   45

I wish Theme Hospital was compatible with Vita.

IncluD 14 May, 2014 @ 1:41 pm   46

Ridiculous that sony are trying to sell Guardians of Middle-Earth (that is online only game) when its servers are being pulled in 17 days.. after that it will be unplayed game.

jarvissquirrel 14 May, 2014 @ 1:41 pm   47

When are we goning to get the promised reduction on ps4 octodad . The devs did mention it was cheaper in us and due to EU regs it would be cheaper here in a few weeks?

euryberuib 14 May, 2014 @ 1:43 pm   48

Great sale Jawad!

I have a couple questions if you don’t mind me asking.
1) Why do games and dlc rarely go on sale?
2) Is there any chance of The Walking Dead going Cross-Buy?
3) How is the newer, HD remastered version cheaper than the original PSP version of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker?

Expansion:
1) I really want The Walking Dead but it doesn’t come with 400 Days and I’ll have to pay more than half the price of TWD for an extra hour’s dlc. In a similar vein I got really excited when I saw Stealth Inc. at the top but no dlc discount for the other consoles? I can get the newly released base game and all dlc for the newest console for cheaper than two pieces of dlc for the handheld copy?
2) I want to buy it (even though I won’t play it for a while) but I’m not sure whether to get it on Vita to play by myself or PS3 to play with my sister. I think it has some Cross-Save functionality and I can’t imagine anyone buys the game on both consoles so Cross-Buy would make a lot of sense. I’d snap it up now if it was the case but I’ll have to think about it and maybe wait for the next sale.
3) I’m again trying to decide which console to play on, portability vs trophies (although 80h platinum probably means the handheld version is preferable), but Konami are really putting me off knowing I’m not getting the best deal since the console version is cheaper.
I hate to sound frugal but why do developers put up these sales and then make it seem like you’re not getting a deal by having a different offer to make others look poor?

I’m trying to build up my MGS collection and I noticed Portable Ops is actually Portable Ops + :). I’ll definitely be getting Fifa Football and I’m having a look at Toukiden too.

Really appreciate the work again Jawad.

    solarwind12 14 May, 2014 @ 1:59 pm

Considering the description for season pass for walking dead quotes Every episode, 400days should, like it has on every other platform, be in sale, ms have had it at 99pence, and little more separate occasion, i flat out Refuse to buy season2 until i can ‘cheaply’ use my saves, decisions from season1, as was Promised i could, though no mention got made at the time of needing another dlc to do this, really p.. upset with this one especially.

    medenko1975 14 May, 2014 @ 8:54 pm

the walking dead goty version is 14,99 at game.co.uk

pysiuu 14 May, 2014 @ 1:49 pm   49

Hi Jawad Ashraf , can you make available Hogs of War PsOne Classic game for EU PSN Market ? The US PSN have already…

    xion1116 17 May, 2014 @ 3:22 pm

Whether the US Plus has it or not is irrelevant, the publisher still has to make it available here and in some cases there is an annoying amount of red tape to go through because of licensing and whatnot.

    Nyoron-purin 19 May, 2014 @ 9:52 pm

    +1! We want HoW! :)
