VidZone turns Five with 50 Cent, Shakira, Ariana Grande, Foster The People and more!

Happy Birthday to us! Yep that’s right, VidZone celebrates its 5th birthday this week and it’s been an awesome journey so far in bringing PlayStation users the biggest and best music videos over the past five years. So thanks very much for everyone’s support up till now! The future is looking very exciting in the world of VidZone…But in the meantime our latest update is here and has something for everyone – 50 Cent’s comeback, celebrating the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Shakira, the pop anthem of the summer and much, much more.

50 Cent “Go shorty, it’s your birthday. We gonna party like it’s your birthday.” It’s VidZone’s birthday and we’ve recruited 50 Cent to host the party! Curtis James Jackson III is back on fine form with his long-awaited new album Animal Ambition which just hit the shelves last week. First it was Pitbull and now Shakira has gone football crazy for the launch of the 2014 FIFA World Cup! The Latino songstress has released ‘La La La (Brazil 2014)’ to celebrate featuring Brazilian musician Carlinhos Brown. The colourful video also stars a whole host of football talent including Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Shakira’s boyfriend and Spanish football star Gerard Piqué. Florida-born Ariana Grande has come a long way since her acting days in the US Nickelodeon sitcom VICTORiOUS. The young starlet was dubbed the “mini Mariah Carey” and hit the big time with her debut solo single ‘The Way‘ featuring Mac Miller. Fast forward to 2014 and Grande has released her mammoth new track and the possible song of the summer, ‘Problem‘ with breakthrough Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea.
