Take to the skies in the enhanced flight combat sim
Hi guys! My name is Daniel Kraß from bitComposer Games and after the release of Air Conflicts: Vietnam for PS3 we received a lot of community feedback and suggestions for improvements. With the PS4 version we had two goals in mind. We wanted to incorporate the feedback of the community and we wanted to take the game to the next console generation.
Peter Nagy, Head of Development at GamesFarm and his team put a lot of effort in the Ultimate Edition. On top of that, we added an entirely new campaign (“Lost Letters”) and we hope that you´ll enjoy experiencing the game from the Vietnamese point of view.
In my opinion, a video game should cover multiple aspects of entertainment but also education. We believe that we have achieved a good combination of that in the PS3 version and turned that into a great combination on the PS4. We offer an entertaining and challenging gaming experience, with an immersive and captivating story, elaborate control mechanisms (for both jets and helicopters) and we did not back away from controversial topics relating to the Vietnam War.
Air Conflicts: Vietnam is an arcade experience brought to the new console generation. The enhanced visual effects, bigger maps and an improved AI will provide an immersive and intense gaming experience. Pick a jet and prevail in challenging dogfights or get behind the mounted gun of your UH-1 Iroquois chopper and fly some top secret missions to interrupt the supply lines of the infamous Ho Cho Minh Trail. But it doesn’t stop there. The sounds have been revised and improved and we have adjusted the control system according to the voice of the community.
The Ultimate Edition contains a lot of historically correct but controversial elements, such as the use of Napalm, Agent Orange and the brutality and mercilessness of a dark chapter in history. We use the protagonists of the game, Joe Thompson (USA) and Nguyen An Toon (Vietnam), to give the players an understanding of the conflict on both sides on a more personal level.
Air Conflicts: Vietnam offers a popular combination of aircraft simulator and arcade gameplay set in the midst of the Vietnam War, one of the most explosive and violent wars of all time. You can make this experience alone or with up to eight players in various multiplayer modes.
