New Tales of Xillia video sets the scene

Hello everyone. Everybody at Bandai Namco Games is very excited to be able to bring you Tales of Xillia 2 on 22nd August! And we hope you are all excited to play it in a few weeks.

Tales of Xillia 2 follows the story of Ludger Kresnik and Elle Marta, a year after the events from Tales of Xillia, as they set off on an epic adventure to reach the Land of Canaan. Along the way, Ludger and Elle will meet up with the main cast of characters from Tales of Xillia. You’ll be able to enjoy special side stories with them to find out what they have been up to for the past year as they begin to join your party.

We have prepared a special two-part video to help catch everyone up with the events that occurred one year ago from the first Tales of Xillia game, which leads into the beginning of Tales of Xillia 2. As Tales of Xillia 2 brings a whole new storyline with new characters, you’ll be able to play the game without having played Tales of Xillia. This two-part video will surely deepen your knowledge of the returning characters, but be careful; there will obviously be spoilers!
