New video for striking PS4/PS Vita puzzle adventure Pavilion debuts

Fresh clip includes new gameplay and showcases the game’s soundtrack

In August we travelled to Helsinki, the capital of Finland to meet up with Tony Gerber – the musician behind the dreamy ambient tunes you can hear in Pavilion – face-to-face for the first time. Tony, who lives in Nashville, USA, was in Helsinki for a live show as well as visiting some old friends. After over two years of Skype contact, we thought we’d seize the opportunity to meet up.

Other than attending the show, we walked around in beautiful Helsinki, drank a few Finnish beers and came up with the idea of shooting some video footage with Tony talking about his creative process and how he makes the music for Pavilion.

What we got was 40 minutes of Tony and Rickard (art-director of Pavilion) chatting away about everything from music and art to second life and subconscious symbols. We won’t post the whole video in one go, but instead we’ll split it up in smaller tidbits and release on our YouTube channel in the near future.

For this blog post though, we have put together a special video with highlights from the conversation interspersed with some new fresh gameplay from Pavilion. We hope you enjoy it.

If you liked what you saw – or heard – please check out Tony’s homepage and support him if you like. We would greatly appreciate that!

And now for some other great news. Starting on Friday 10th October and lasting for three days, Pavilion will be playable at the Sony booth, running on PlayStation 4, at this year’s IndieCade festival taking place in Los Angeles. So please come by if you have the opportunity and give our new demo a go. For more information about the event visit the official IndieCade site.

And, as usual, you can find us on Twitter and Facebook for more day-to-day updates.
Have a great day!
