Upcoming PlayStation Plus community tournaments and competitions detailed

Greetings PlayStation Blog! Today we’re going to be taking a look at PlayStation Plus from a community angle, to highlight some of the upcoming tournaments and initiatives we’ve got coming up over on the PlayStation forums.

As an exclusive member of PlayStation Plus you not only have access to playing online multiplayer on your PS4 and over 60 games a year at no additional cost, but you also get to participate in the plethora of community tournaments and competitions that we run on a weekly basis.

PS Plus Far Cry 4 and GTA V community events:
To mark upcoming title releases, special PlayStation occasions, and of course, just for the fun of it, the community forums run different challenges specifically for Plus members. In the upcoming weeks we have several exciting AAA title launches in the pipeline, with Far Cry 4 and GTA V leading the way.

To welcome these amazing games to our PlayStation brand portfolio we are running two online multiplayer community challenges.

Join us on our holiday around Kyrat and share your most amazing screenshots from your Far Cry 4 trip – a community activity which we’ve pre-launched before our three fun nights go live tomorrow, 25th November.

Between 25th, 26th and 27th November focus will be on the multiplayer modes within the game, and this is your chance to show the community, and the world, what you are made of! So whether you’re an Outpost kinda guy, a Propaganda girl, or you’re more into trying out the Demon Mask mode with your team, then keep your ears and eyes peeled for the upcoming Far Cry 4 community tournament. Sign-ups are open now.

If GTA V is the way you roll, then get on that bandwagon and share your best screenshots with the community before participating in one of three fun nights, running on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th December. Once again focus is on the multiplayer modes of the game, and registration opens on 27th November.
