Snake’s acclaimed 2014 outing leads out your next batch of games, which also includes the latest title from the Hohokum team, Super Exploding Zoo; word-of-mouth PS3 hit Call of Juarez: Gunslinger; and ace PS4 strategy romp Skulls of the Shogun.

3. Ferocious new Mad Max trailer makes its debut

Everyone seen George Miller’s phenomenal Mad Max: Fury Road flick? If you have, you should be suitably pumped at the prospect of Avalanche Studios‘ impending videogame, set in the same universe. Watch the new trailer here:

The interactive PS4-only survival horror pinned down a 26th August launch date this week, and celebrated with a new trailer and the announcement that classy Prison Break alumnus Peter Stormare has joined the cast.

8. Tantalising PS4 sci-fi horror SOMA gets a new trailer and release date

Strong-stomached PC gamers among you should be familiar with terrifying 2010 survival horror Amnesia: The Dark Descent, from Frictional Games. The next title from the same team, sci-fi spine chiller SOMA, is on its way to PS4 this September, and this week we saw a full 10 minutes of gameplay. Watch, if you dare.

9. Launch details for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited confirmed

The ambitious new PS4 MMO set in the Elder Scrolls universe is not far off – expect it on shelves from 9th June. Zenimax Online Studios stopped by PlayStation Blog this week to show off a new trailer and pass on some launch day details.

10. Handsome PS4 strategy game Armello announced

Now this one looks a bit special. Pitched as “Game of Thrones meets Kung Fu Panda”, this digital board game from Australian team League of Geeks has already built up an enthusiastic following among the PC community, and is now set to win hearts on PS4 later this year.
