New Unravel trailer shows off clever puzzle gameplay

Hi everyone, Dan Mitre here again from Electronic Arts. Last time I was here, I was excited to introduce Unravel after our E3 press conference, and this time, I’m pleased to show off a peek at some of the puzzles that you’ll help Yarny solve.

The first trailer for Unravel introduced Yarny and showed off some of the cool locations that you’ll explore on its journey. This time, we have a video that shows off more gameplay. We wanted to show a little more about how this puzzle-platformer plays, and how you can use yarn to solve environmental puzzles. Take a look above.

Yarny might be made of yarn, but it’s able to use this seeming detriment as a strength. Sure, it needs to keep grabbing more yarn to continue on its journey, but it can also use the yarn to create bridges, and to swing between different areas. You’ll be able to use Yarny’s different abilities to progress through the beautiful world of Unravel – combining these skills is key to solving the game’s complex puzzles.

Unravel will be available on PS4, and we’re excited to hear what you think of this new video, and if you’re eager to hang out with Yarny when Unravel releases.
