With the release of the PlayStation Vita, we’re delighted gamers are taking well to our new entry to portable consoles but we also know a lot of die-hard PSP fans still exist. Hello everybody! Before we start this week’s ‘Heads-Up’ I have an announcement to make, this will be the last time I will write for the PSN Store weekly blog post… However, this leads on to some great news because I am delighted to announce that, as of today, I will be passing on the mighty blog keyboard to the newest member of the PlayStation Store team, Jawad Ashraf. Hello everyone! I am delighted to be welcomed on board the team and I hope this can only mean an even better service for you, our customers. Without me rambling too long, let’s get on with this week’s updates.

To kick things off, Arc the Lad (yes, Arc the Lad!) is now on the store for everyone to enjoy, and if you’re a PlayStation Plus member it’ll be free for a whole month. For PS3 we have Splinter Cell Double Agent. You take on the role of Sam Fisher. In order to stop an attack on American soil, you must infiltrate and destroy a vicious terrorist group. As a double agent you decide what you want to do – which side do you fight for?

Uncharted fans will be happy to know we have the Flashback Map Pack released this week. This was part of the Fortune Hunter Club and is now available to non-members. The pack includes the following multiplayer maps – Sanctuary, Fort, Cave and Lost City. Be sure to pick this up!

We also have DLC including more costume packs for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Dress Chun-Li in her Alpha costume (part of the Femme Fatale pack) or Sentinel in his classic rendition (part of the New Age of Heroes pack).

And because Chinese New Year is also upon us, there’s a free costume to obtain for LittleBigPlanet 2 to celebrate. Oh, and this is available for only one week so hurry, hurry, hurry!

Greetings! Another week brings another content update to the PlayStationStore!

To start with, we have AMY from Lexis Numerique – a survival horror game not for the faint of heart.

If you’re too frightened then there’s Zack Zero, a 3D platform action title from Crocodile.

Demo wise we have Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Asura’s Wrath to play around with – two games I am greatly looking forward to!

PlayStation Store (via PS3, PSP and Media Go)

Hello fellow gamers and welcome to another edition of the PSN Store ‘Heads-Up’ blog post.

Welcome to 2012, this year looks like it is going to be a big one for us at Sony with the launch of PSVita on 22nd February as well as some new (and old) games and content you have been requesting.

However sadly this week don’t have loads coming to the store this week (which after Christmas and the Festive Sale might be a slight relief for your wallets) but what we do have I think will put a smile on your faces.

First off we have All Zombies Must Die, a must have for all you twin-stick shooter, zombie mayhem fans. We also have the PSone classic Wild Arms available from today and the Batman Arkham City – Challenge Map Pack to further test your cap crusading skills.

And just to finish off, I don’t usually highlight avatars but the Warlords avatars we have coming to the store today I think look really cool, so check them out.
