Everybody’s Tennis Out For PSP This Summer!

Countries: , , , ,

Hi Guys!

Its Joey here. I’m really excited to let you know that we will be releasing Everybody’s Tennis for PSP in Summer 2010!

This summer take a holiday from the football World Cup and enjoy a world of tennis squeezed, courtesy of PSP, into your pocket.

The first step is to ditch the whites as Everybody’s Tennis lets your creativity run free and your own style shine through.

Everybody's Tennis

Everybody's Tennis

Develop your own quirky character with more than 500 different customisable items making this a totally personal experience; then set off on your journey to superstardom. It’s easy to pick up and play but offers loads of subtlety that will only come with time and practice.

The advanced shot system is for the true pro letting you place, volley, drop or smash your way to victory whilst every court has its own physics which will shape your match-winning strategy.

Everybody's Tennis

Everybody's Tennis

Getting to pro standard sees you embark on your new career as you search out new courts across the Everybody’s Tennis world map and work your way up, and down, the ranks.

Everybody's Tennis

Each new area comes with a set of intriguing tasks to complete before you are invited on court to take on the best players the region has to offer. Look out for hidden items on the court to pass onto other characters and help you progress. Success moves you up the ladder where the challenges become more difficult and the competition more unusual – this is more than just match-play, this is living and learning on the circuit.

Everybody's Tennis

And when it’s all just a bit too much kick back, avoid early burn-out and play with up to three of your friends in multiplayer mode. Everybody’s Tennis is available for PSP-3000 and PSPGo this Summer.

Enjoy the trailer and see you on the court!

WipEout HD Fury Coming To Blu-ray

EnglishSelect a Language:

Hi Everybody,

I’m Joey and I’m the European Product Manager for WipEout HD Fury on Blu-ray.

I’m really excited to tell you that we will be releasing a Blu-ray that contains both the core WipEout HD game and the explosive Fury expansion pack for €24.99 as well as a digital bundle at the same price on the PlayStation Network!

For the first time people without access to the PlayStation Network can experience the thrill of piloting an anti gravity racer at speeds of over 600KPH!

WipEout HD Fury

The Blu-ray will contain:

  • 28 reversible tracks
  • Two campaigns (HD and Fury)
  • 26 Individual Ship models
  • 8 game modes (4 available for online play)
  • Online ranking and Badge System
  • 51 Trophies including a coveted Platinum trophy!

Now about those game modes:

  • Single Race
  • Time Trial
  • Speed Lap
  • Zone Mode
  • Detonator
  • Eliminator
  • Zone Battle
  • Tournament
  • Playable online

The Eliminator game mode will allow you to release all that pent-up aggression as you use the full arsenal of WipEout weaponry to destroy your opponents. Forget those racing lines; this is all about destruction, with the victor being the first to reach the target score!

Zone Battle is about risk and reward! Acceleration is automatic as you swoop over zone pads to fill your zone bar. Your choice is whether to use the bar to increase your speed and boost your ship ever closer to the target zone or absorb it to replenish vital lost energy. Warning, avoid the ‘zone barriers’, obstacles left on the track by your opponents as they boost towards the target zone, hitting these can literally destroy your hopes of victory!

Detonator mode introduces a brand new ship model to the game that will test both your piloting skills and your shooting accuracy as you accelerate through as many as 14 stages. Score points by destroying the mines that have been strewn along the track and take out the bomb on each stage to earn additional points. The more accurate you are the more points and bonuses you will score!

Have a look at the screens below to see what WipEout HD Fury is all about

See you at the track!

Issues With PAIN Blu-ray

Hi Guys,

I’m Joey and I’m the SCEE Product Manager for PAIN.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I wanted to let you all know ahead of time that we are experiencing some difficulties with PAIN on Blu-ray.

This is a server related matter which we are aware of, and we’re developing a patch to fix this as soon as possible.

The problems you may be experiencing include:

  • An inability to play online games.
  • Software locks when playing online games.
  • The inability to purchase or use additional content acquired via the PlayStation Store.

PSN online players may also experience game locks and hangs in online play. This will be addressed once the PAIN Blu-ray patch is applied to the game.

We’re currently planning to release a product patch within the next 10 working days, and we endeavour to keep the community updated with any changes to these plans.

But keep on flinging your chosen victim and bring on the PAIN!

Joey
