Fresh off the back of the God of War: Ascension reveal on 19 April, we’re delighted to be able to bring you a live video revealing more information on Kratos’ next PS3 epic and the news that the game will include online multiplayer for the first time in the series’ history.

At this very moment, Game Director Todd Papy is with Jeff Rubenstein of the US PlayStation.Blog to talk us through God of War Ascension, answer your questions and, most excitingly, show us the game in action. The live stream will begin at 4pm BST / 5pm CET / 11pm EST.

Following on from the PS Vita TV advert the other day, we have just finished the Uncharted Golden Abyss TV ad in preparation for the game’s launch next Wednesday.

This will be screened over the coming weeks and months on TV but thought you would like to see it exclusively on the blog first, hope you like it!

Just a reminder that God of War Collection Volume II will be available this week from Wednesday 14th September onwards! (Retail and PSN)

For those that missed the previous posts, you get to experience two legendary PSP titles; Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta totally revamped for the PS3.

I hope you will agree the guys at Ready At Dawn have done an amazing job revamping these titles and the following clip really does show the effort and time in making sure the PS3 version benefits from 1080p visuals running at a rock solid 60fps.

In addition to trophy support the game is also playable in full 3D which really does look great if you are lucky enough to own a 3D TV. If you haven’t yet experienced the chaos of Kratos make sure you download the demo from PSN store.

Mainland Europe from 3 November.

Australia and New Zealand from 4 November.

UK and Ireland from 5 November.

RRP of UMD €29.99 / £24.99.

RRP of digital version €26.99 / £16.99 and will be available in this weeks PlayStation Store update.
