Earlier this month, we unveiled our “Origins” trailer providing a few details about Kratos’ dark past and offering a glimpse of his journey to find his long lost Brother, Deimos. Find out what other secrets remain unseen as our marked warrior sets forth on his quest for redemption.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta will be available across mainland Europe from 3 November, in Australia and New Zealand from 4 November and in the UK and Ireland from 5 November for a RRP of €29.99 / £24.99.
I’m pleased to confirm that the God of War Collection (God of War I & 2), previously released on Blu-ray Disc earlier this year, will be available to download from PlayStation Store on 3 November.
You can either purchase the games individually for €17.99/£13.99 each or buy them as bundle for €29.99/£23.99.
Originally running on the PS2, these classic games have been given a revamp for the PS3 to support HD visuals, silky smooth 60 frames per second action and Trophies.
We hope you’re looking forward to downloading two loads of Spartan rage when the God of War Collection hits PlayStation Store on 3 November.
As we move closer to the launch of the game in PAL regions, we thought it only fair to share even more amazing gameplay footage. Check out the latest “Origins” trailer which provides a glimpse of the endless nightmares that continue to haunt Kratos.
You will notice that Kratos’ brother Deimos makes an appearance in the trailer. To reward all of God of War fans who purchase the game, I’m really excited to tell you that will receive an EXCLUSIVE DOWNLOAD voucher in the Ghost of Sparta box that unlocks the Deimos character skin for God of War III on PS3.
So relive the God of War III experience like never before as you get to PLAY as Kratos’ brother, Deimos, who benefits from enhanced combat damage and 4x the Health, Magic and Gold Orbs, giving you the ultimate rage-fuelled Spartan!
For those who own a PSP GO, don’t worry we have made sure you’ll get the Deimos skin when you purchase God of War: Ghost of Sparta from the PlayStation Store as well.
If you have comments for the studio then please let me know and make sure you stay tuned for further updates.
I’m the European Product Manager for God of War: Ghost of Sparta. For those who have been following the game since my previous posts we’ve got a brilliant treat in store for those who are itching to play the latest instalment of the award winning franchise.
I’m pleased to announce an exclusive early access demo to God of War: Ghost of Sparta for some lucky PSP fans out there. So what’s the plan?
We will be emailing out some demo voucher codes to a selected number of PAL PSN users who registered to receive the SCEE promotional newsletter. If you haven’t opted-in to receive it, it’s unfortunately too late to be in with a chance to be picked for this promotion, but it’s worth you registering today to be considered for future SCEE offers (simply go to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB, select Account Management => Account Information => => Notification Preferences, and tick the relevant boxes).
So make sure you check your email inbox over the weekend and hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones to receive a voucher code allowing you to download the GoW: Ghost of Sparta PSP demo instantly from PlayStation Store. Remember, it’s a random selection and only a limited amount of vouchers are being sent out.
For those who haven’t had a chance to see God of War: Ghost of Sparta please find the trailer which we released earlier this year at E3 and gamescom.
Any questions or comments for the team then please let me know, enjoy the demo (especially the boss battle and keep posted for further exciting updates before the game launches this November.
Hope everyone is well; the guys at Naughty Dog have done it again with some cool downloadable content (DLC) available on the store next week. Here are a few words from Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer.
If you have any feedback for the guys then please let me know.
While this may not come as a surprise for some of you – as part of Naughty Dog’s continuing support of our multiplayer community, we’re glad to say we’ve got some new UNCHARTED 2 DLC on the way real soon.
Like, next week soon.
On Wednesday, 18 August, the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Sidekick Skins pack will be available for purchase from PlayStation Store. After the last two sets of multiplayer skins we released, we heard that you wanted more Sully, more Chloe and more Elena (among many, many other things) – and that’s exactly what we put into the pack. Not to neglect the villains team, we also threw in two enemy characters from UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune – Dillon and Mac – who complete the set we started with Blain and Dutch.
The UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Sidekick Skins Pack includes the following multiplayer characters:
Heist Chloe
Borneo Chloe
Borneo Sullivan
UDF Sullivan
Winter Sullivan
Wetsuit Elena
Dillon
Mac
On the same day, we’re also releasing an UNCHARTED 2 Dynamic Theme for your PS3. As you can see from the screenshots and the embedded video below, the Dynamic Theme features a scene from Chapter 15 – Train Wrecked, when a critically injured Nathan Drake is high up in the mountains, stumbling through the snow away from the train wreck he survived to recover the Phurba Dagger.
The UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Sidekick Skin Pack will be released on the PlayStation Store on 18 August for only €2.99 / £2.39 for the 8 skins. The UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Dynamic Theme will be released on the same day €1.99 / £1.59 as well.
