On the ground floor of the Moonbase you will find an information hub, with posters, internet terminals and a video screen. On the second floor you’ll find everything you need to let your hair down: a dance floor, meeting places and more.

Being devoted to gaming, the Moonbase will also host a number of interactive elements and at launch you’ll be able to jump straight into the Lunar Leap mini game. Take giant zero-gravity leaps across a crater full of special pads to complete the goals. Beat the time limit and you’ll be rewarded with an exclusive GAME space suit outfit.

That’s not all. Also launching into Home this week is the Warhawk personal space, along with a range of furnishings. There’s no better way to enjoy your Warhawk apartment than dressed up as a Chernovan or Eucadian, so head for Threads where you’ll find costumes for both – or alternatively take to the skies and have a go at the 2 player co-op airbourne assault mini-game, which comes packaged with the personal space – the choice is yours.

In the mall you’ll also find a selection of ornaments from Uncharted 2, including the Silver Llama, Coatimundi Treasure and a Golden Monkey. Check out the screenshot below:

A large range of clothing from Namco Bandai also arrives this week, including Pac Man, Dig Dug and Galaga shirts.

We have a massive PlayStation Home update for you tomorrow, including the implementation of the Home 1.35 client, release of the Final Fantasy XIII personal space and a brand-new selection of Ratchet & Clank and SOCOM items.

First up, we have the highly anticipated 1.35 client update. We’ve been listening to your concerns on the EU blog and forums and can confirm that this update will bring with it a much slicker (and indeed faster) Home experience for all users. Not only improving performance, 1.35 will also make it easier to find friends as well as provide a quicker / simpler means to explore Home.

Therefore, the World Map has now been replaced by the brand-new Navigator interface (see the screenshots below). Navigator will help you explore Home quickly and simply – allowing you to hook up with your PSN Friends at the touch of a button as well as check out “Featured Spaces” and new releases.

But that’s not all, as announced on the EU Blog yesterday, the Final Fantasy Eden personal space will be available to all users via Home Estates in the Shopping Centre tomorrow. This new personal space is retailing at £3.99 (4.99 euro) and will release with a selection of Final Fantasy XIII furniture to customize your ideal space.

Next up, we have a brand new selection of Ratchet & Clank figurines and ornaments available via both the commerce point in the Gadgetron HQ and Shopping Centre spaces. Check out the screenshot below of these funky new items:

Grab yourself a Dr. Nefarious, Ratchet, Clank, Clunk, Lawrence, Courtney or Gleeman figurine (there are plenty more to choose from too!) or maybe a RYNO V or Groovitron Glove ornament for your Harbour Studio.

If you’re looking for some more threads, why not check out the selection of SOCOM Snow Camo items launching for both male and female avatars tomorrow. These will be available in the Threads section of the Shopping Centre and retailing at 0.99 euros per section.

Finally, Sodium will receive an update tomorrow which brings with it two new weapons including the Long Range Plasma Emitter – which will help to achieve those much needed high scores – and the Multi Shot Grenade Launcher which has a much higher scatter area (and massive fun potential!).

It’s a big day for us at SQUARE ENIX: FINAL FANTASY XIII is in the shops at last, and I’m sure some of you are already busy following the adventures of Lightning and company.

To celebrate the game’s release on PS3, we created a set of very special items for PlayStation Home, inspired by the game’s locations and characters.

The items will be available for you from Thursday 11th March, and mark the beginning of SQUARE ENIX’s presence in Home.

Those brave enough to take part will find themselves transported onto a giant pool table, where they’ll have ten seconds to find a safe spot to stand before the shot is taken. Don’t just run around the table or hug the rail, though, as to win you’ll need to pocket plenty of points; the big scores will be chalked up by those closest to the travelling balls. Survive ten shots and you’ll win a stylish Hustle Kings Cape for your avatar. Rule the cloth by topping the leader board and you will claim the ultimate prize: a bejewelled Hustle Kings Crown topped with an iconic black 8 ball.

Tread carefully in Home this week – we’re anticipating an invasion of Aliens and Predators! This week sees the release of a set of awesome Aliens vs Predator costumes that are not to be missed! Whether your preference is the menacing Alien, terrifying Predator, or the underdog Marine, Threads has your needs covered. These Limited Edition costumes will only be available until the 31st of March, so don’t hesitate to get yours!

For those of you who enjoy dressing as your favourite game characters, this week’s update includes three new costumes that are definitely worth taking a look at. We’ve got costumes from UNCHARTED: Nathan Drake, Sully, Chloe Frazier, Elena Fisher, and Tetram will all be available tomorrow. If Killzone is more your thing, check out the Radec costume. We’re not done yet: there is also a range of camouflage kits for SOCOM: Fire Team Bravo! All available from Threads!

Our White Knight Chronicles competition that started last week continues, in The Gallery area of the PlayStation Events Space. We do want to remind everyone that the rules stipulate that four avatars must be present in each virtual photo. Any submissions with fewer than four will not be considered, so make sure to gather your friends and send us your fiercest guild photos!

Finally, if you haven’t yet taken part in the Heavy Rain Evidence Analysis event, you’ve still got plenty of time. The event space and game are still open, and we’ve put together a brief trailer to help newcomers along the way:

White Knight Chronicles arrives this week, and to celebrate we’ve redecorated The Gallery area of the PlayStation Events Space. Well worth a visit just to see the huge backdrops that dominate the space … or for your chance to win big! Your challenge is to get together with three of your friends, pose against each of the resplendent backdrops and use the special camera to immortalise your fearsome guild in our virtual photo competition.

The sender of the five greatest photos will receive a special, limited edition real-life White Knight statuette – so make sure you dress to impress! That’s right, the stunning new MotorStorm Carrier has arrived in PS Home! Hinted at a few months back in the MotorStorm Sphere, the new MotorStorm space is a decommissioned aircraft Carrier. Bought by a wealthy, anonymous, rock star and donated to MotorStorm, the spaces comes complete with a number of mini-games, quests and funky rewards.

Try your hand at Lunatic Launcher arcade game or help out some of the ‘Stormers roaming about the space for your chance to win a prize. Or, if the mood takes you, spin some tracks at the DJ decks, where you can also play around with the smoke machine and lights. There’s plenty to do, and the choice is yours.

Once you’re done in the Carrier, we have possibly the best personal space out there! The brand-new (and incredibly cute) Loco Island. Watch the trailer below to see what’s coming:

This personal space comes complete with a swing, slide and hammock (for when you want to rest those weary virtual feet), as well as an array of LocoRoco characters including Mui Mui and Chuppa. Incidentally, the Chuppa can send your avatar soaring to the top of the tree house if required.

There are also lots of hidden features in this personal space. Try dancing in front of the LocoRoco for a nice surprise… You’ll also have the option to assist with renovating, or maybe even take part in a spot of farming: this isn’t one you want to miss out on! The Mui Mui Ship is the perfect place for you to take a virtual cruise, from where you can look out at Loco Island and participate in a variety of activities. Sit down to a strategic game of LocoReverse, or have a bet on the hourly Domingo race with the pickories you’ve located.

Sodium updates this week, bringing new rewards for the Salt Shooter mini-game. These fantastic Tank Accolades – in Salt, Bronze, Silver and Gold variants – will unlock as you play through the Salt Shooter levels. For those who have purchased to Chilli Pilot jacket, tomorrow you will receive the full pilot outfit along with any jacket upgrades you have earned. VICKIE will also be updated with new content for purchase with your hard-earned credits!

This week, SingStar will be updated with a Valentine’s themed dance area along with a mini-game aptly named Stupid Cupid. Assassin’s Creed sneaks its way into PS Home this week with a massive offering in Threads. We’ve got several bundles available that are sure to be a hit! First up is the fantastic Ezio costume from Assassin’s Creed 2, available for both male and female. If the original is more your style, we’ve also got male and female versions of the Altair costume. Being an Assassin not your style? Then hunt them down wearing the guard costume; once again, for both male and female. Finally, for the women only, there’s the courtesan bundle.

Furniture more to your liking? Ligne Roset updates this week with a large range of new furniture: tables, chairs, sofas and footstools, there’s 18 new items in total.

At the end of the week, all those who submitted the correct evidence pack from the crime scene were given an exclusive voucher code to download the Heavy Rain playable demo from the PlayStation Store. The demo will not be made generally available until this Thursday, 11th February – so there’s still time for you to get involved and get hold of the demo early. The final stage of the investigation will take place this week – you’ve been seconded to work with the Bureau, helping them assess potential suspects against strict psychological criteria. This is where you will need to use all of the skills and information you’ve learned during the investigation, and ultimately make your decision – which suspect will you bring in for questioning?
